Subscribe to RSSA television astrologer with millions of fans in Latin America is in a Puerto Rico hospital with pneumonia after he was weakened by the stress of finishing his 2012 predictions, his assistant said.
Walter Mercado, who now goes by the name Shanti Ananda, collapsed over the weekend at his home during a private event, the Miami Herald reported. He was later transported to hospital in San Juan.
“Walter is stable, connected to oxygen and on antibiotics,” his assistant, Willy Acosta, told the Herald.
Acosta told the Herald that the stress of completing 2012 astrological predictions for various publications during the last weeks of 2011 impacted the personality's health.

What I want to know is if there are any good Mayan astrologers out there making predictions for 2012. I would really like to get some more detail on that "2012 End of the World" business. Seems there might be a way to turn some profit on preparation for that one, if we had a bit more detail (eg., smoke detectors, inflatable rafts, motion detectors, etc.)

I looked up this guys predictions for 2011, just to see if maybe he was any good.........not A SINGLE THING HE PREDICTED IN 2011...or for any year has come true.....you are a con-artist......just go away.
Either he simply overstressed himself doing his job (like millions of other people lately...welcome to the worldwide reccession) or it was a publicity stunt by a con artist (like thousands of other con artists...welcome to suckersville). Now millions of other people will research this guy on the internet, and each 'check' will be a 'hit' on his website. That's how it works.

Why was it so stressful? Did he foresee doom and disaster for 2012 or was he just being very conscientious? I thought they just reused predictions from year to year, like fortunes in fortune cookies. On the other hand, he couldn't buy the kind of publicity a news item like this can generate.

too bad uncle dophie did'nt do a better job of cleaning out the vermin because we would'nt have all these problems today ??? but since the camps and ovens are in-tack maybe we can turn them on again one day and finish the job of making the world a safer place too live in !!!

Palestinians living in Gaza and Samaria ( the West re-named "west bank") are not part of Israel population. therefore they don't have the right to vote. Do you believe that millions of Ilegals in the US (Hispanic, Europeans etc) should be allowed to vote in the USA?
However, the Arab-Israelis, those BORN in Israel, they have the right to vote, matter of fact, the Knesset,Israeli Parliament hold seats for Arab Israelis, and that all Arab/Israelis can support them?do YOU knew that? maybe no, don't worry.
Do you know that 20% of Haiffa University is made of Arab/Israelis? don't worry. Do you know ANY Arab country where a JEW hold a seat in the government? send me the info. Do you know, that even palestinians living in Gaza and w.b. cross inside Israel and hold jobs in Israel?
Do you can tell me if Mexicans living in Mexico can cross the border and work and get salaries here in the USA every week? Do you want all the ilegals in this country holding the right to vote in the next elections?

Israel is one of the most advances countries in the world, ask the women in Saudi Arabia where they can't even drive a car, and ask Israelie women, they get rights since 3000 years ago.
Now for my next prediction. The people of the US will elect a President in 2012! He will be a politician!
I predict that the Electoral College will choose a president in 2012. With no regard for the people, except for the corporations who are people. Some people are just more important than other people, especially if they're not really people.
