Mustafa Abdul-Jalil, the head of Libya's ruling National Transitional Council, warned on Sunday the country could be heading towards a "bottomless pit" after protesters stormed a government office in Benghazi when he was inside.
A crowd demanding the resignation of the Libyan government smashed windows and forced their way into the NTC's local headquarters late on Saturday, in the most serious show of anger at the new authorities since Moammar Gadhafi was ousted.
The NTC has the support of the Western powers that helped force out Gadhafi in a nine-month conflict, but it is unelected, has been slow to restore basic public services, and some Libyans say too many of its members are tarnished by ties to Gadhafi.
Abdul-Jalil later suspended the six representatives to the NTC from Benghazi, the main city in eastern Libya. They can continue to serve only if approved by the local city council.
He also said he appointed a council of religious leaders to investigate corruption charges and identify people with links to the Gadhafi regime.
The body's deputy head, Abdel-Hafiz Ghoga, resigned in protest over the suspensions. Ghoga, known for his polished language and expensive suits, was a prominent spokesman during the eight-month civil war that ended with Gadhafi's capture and killing in October.
Another delegate, Fathi Baja, called the move "illegitimate" and said he would stand down only if the people of Benghazi asked him to. Baja, a well known critic of Gadhafi even before the uprising, also criticized the appointment of religious leaders, saying that when he was criticizing Gadhafi, "they were calling on people to obey the leader."
Also Sunday, the head of the committee tasked with preparing the country's election law said its release would be delayed for one week. The final law, which was set to be announced Sunday, will be made public on Jan. 28, said Othman al-Mugherhi.
The committee published a draft law earlier this month and said it would solicit comments from Libyans. Al-Mugherhi said the delay will allow the committee to consider these comments while drafting the final law.
The law will spell out how Libyans will elect the 200-members national congress, which will oversee the drafting of a constitution. The body is supposed to be elected before June 23.
Al-Mugherhi also announced the formation of a 17-member electoral commission to oversee the vote. The body contains professors, judges, lawyers and men and women representing non-governmental organizations, he said.
Under Gadhafi's rule, Libya had no working parliament for four decades.
Abdul-Jalil warned the protests risked undermining the country's already fragile stability.
"We are going through a political movement that can take the country to a bottomless pit," he said. "There is something behind these protests that is not for the good of the country."
"The people have not given the government enough time and the government does not have enough money. Maybe there are delays, but the government has only been working for two months. Give them a chance, at least two months."

Thanks Obama''khadafy must go'' ''Mubarak must go'' stop your meddling with the muslims you are just making a big mess and getting more people killed! We now know that the Islamist radicals have won favor in Egypt and as of today the only thing holding them at bay is the military dictators! So much for the ''arab spring'' these muslims and their countries are a bloody mess.
Hmmm....this movie looks like a remake.
Like President Obama was totally responsible for the Libyan rebellion. Like the Libyan citizenry didn't have anything to do with it. Like Europe and Middle East countries, who provided direct assistance to the rebels and whose requests for assistance from the U.S., didn't have anything to do with it. Like the probable catalyst to the Arab Spring, the illegitimate invasion of a sovereign nation (Iraq), didn't have anything to do with all of it.
I think it's very shortsighted of you to try to pin this on one person.
Lynn Shapiro: I was unaware it was American citizens behind the destruction of Arab countries... You're being foolish to accuse your own countrymen of such corruption. Place the blame correctly or push off with that BS! Here is your perpetrators:
Council of Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg Group, Club of Rome, United Nations, World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund.
No longer are we only threatened from without by a group of balding hard-line Communists - we are now threatened from within - by a group of intelligent, well-dressed globalists who are convincing America and the nations of the world that the only way to lasting world peace is the establishment of a ...
"New World Order."

Follow the money held by the 1% of Global Elitists...... Takes money to destroy nations and enslave the masses to poverty.
Dave-in-Conyers''I think it's very shortsighted of you to try to pin this on one person.'' your right I am sure Hillary Clinton helped devise their Arab spring strategy. Wouldn't it be much better if we would just mind our own business especially in regards to these troublesome Muslim nations?
Yep, no one is surprised about this except the OBamites.
Ghadaffi should have know he was in trouble when he decided to nationalize, the oil industry and kick Britain and France out.
He knew their industry depended on the sweet light crude from Libya.
So, Britain and France started a civil war and snookered the criminal in the white house into paying for it and along the way committed an illegal and unprovoked attack on another country.
There does seem to be valid cause for the Arab world, not believing any thing we say.

"your right I am sure Hillary Clinton helped devise their Arab spring strategy." Now you're being a troll.
Strange. When I first read down to your entry, the first and only one shown under the article, it read, "Thanks Obama" without any other text following it. When my browser reloaded after I commented, the rest of your comment showed. Hmmm.
Dave-in-Conyers now I am a troll for criticizing the failure we have occupying the whitehouse? Blame yourself for putting a community organizer in there. Now go away and stop pestering me.Instead of whining and calling names tell me why I am wrong?

I gave you my opinion as to what I saw wrong in your initial post. See my reply in #1.3.

Well Obama voter, he sure wasn't sitting on the sidelines when he bypassed Congress to invade Libya with Operation Odyssey Dawn! His dream of an Arab Spring is coming through fruition. And you people who are vehemently anti-war sit back and say nothing. Amazingly pathetic.
What are you talking about? Obama did not put one single troop on the ground and was fulfilling a NATO mandate to complete the support of the Libyan people who were being threatened by Khaddafy. This was an organic revolution already in progress. Why do you chose to post this when just above this article is one about how Iraq is developing into a failed police state after Bush placed a hundred thousand soldiers into harms way, and cost this country trillions of dollars only to have the mission fail! There was no ongoing revolution in Iraq that the US and NATO were trying to protect in Iraq. Your selective condemnation of Obama is inconsistent with the facts.
C'mon people, wake up and get real. Libya is NOT BO's fault. By definition, nothing is BO's fault. He only gets credit, never fault. He is POTUS to blame, accuse, vilify, and divide. And deceive to keep the chicanery going. Nothing more. Regardless that past Presidents bore the responsibility and were held accountable, sometimes by a pretty far stretch, this is not the case with this magical Hawaiian. Suffice that he is working hard for you every single day, that his liberation view of core and fundamental American values resonate with the non-productive, entitlement crowd, that he will make no mistake. It doesn't matter he never met a payroll, had executive level experience, served in the military, or had management responsibilities. He's friendly, a Harvard graduate, talks real good, black, and a Christlim or Mustian - whichever floats your boat. He not only doesn't look like those other guys on the dollar bill he doesn't act or think or have loyalty to America like those other guys. No matter, full steam ahead. Vote for BO in 2012 because "nothing really matters", especially to him except for him.
To: liberty&freedom LuVr #1.10
And to you, the same. PeAcE
How quick you all are to condemn. The temporary ruling body isn't restoring services fast enough, some people are getting violent, and suddenly the entire Libyan revolution is down the tubes. Oh yes, and it's all Obama's fault. Do you not see how petty and biased you sound?
Give it a year or two, THEN make a more reasoned judgment.
All these nations will go through significant transition pains. In some cases it has been centuries since these nations/tribes have had an opportunity to sort out local issues. They have been muzzled first under the Ottoman Empire then the British/French and more recently homegrown dictators. Although the dictators may have been friendly to our cause, they stifled the democratic process which might have sorted out long-standing issues. We must accept that some of these nations may not transition in ways that we would prefer--but transition they must. Democracy can be messy--as the South Carolina Republican primary has demonstrated. Here is where I take a page from Ron Paul. Let's butt out.
Our narcassist POS president both fully endorsed and took all the credit when the leftists thought this 'Arab Spring' bullsh*t was a good idea. The mindless Obamaites wanted to heap all sort of praise on him. Now that it is all crashing down into anarchy, Obama and the koolaide drinkers want to disavow his asinine statements and rhetoric that fueled it?! What a surprise!! ROTFLMAO!!!!
Liberty&FreedomLuvr and JPSOTW: You may have a reasonable point of view, that the U.S. should keep out of other country's affairs. By the tenor of your comments, I assume you identify more with conservatives, than liberals. If that is true, please tell your conservative brothers that they may be wrong for criticizing President Obama for not taking an active role supporting the Iranian election protesters last year.
On a brighter note, the Dow closed Friday above 12700 pts., the second highest point since he took office. But, of course, Obama would get no credit for that. For all you repubes, isn't that about right??
Hey stoopid!! I would not have gotten involved in Iran's mess either. Yes I am a conservative more inline with the philosophy of Ron Paul in regards to foreign policy. These wars and interfering in Islamic countries has only caused grief, despair and debt.
You on the right have a lot of gall to criticize Obama over these developments. Yet I'm sure you were all gung ho for the invasion of Iraq and the subsequent 9 year quagmire, the trillion dollar debt increase and lives that cost. Hypocrisy from the right knows no bounds.
Liberty and Lynn, it might do the both of you some good to read about the history of America. This country was quite the mess during the 1780s and 90s. Whether you understand it or not you can't take countries like Egypt, Iran,or Libya and make them afunctioning country within twomonths, a year, etc. It is going to take them time.
You know today A great old coach died and probably in the comments there will be anti Obama rhetoric from the right wing idiots who make a living posting that crap. first place obama had nothing to do with this. Anyone who posts POS president shows his true feelings and most do. best way is to ignore them and do not respond. Dumbs azz people need attention to validate their miserable lives.
Now as to the story of course they are going to experience problems and it may tak months or years for them to stabilize their country. Remenets of the old regime have been defeated not extinguished and his heirs are trying to get back in so the raod to freedom for these people will not be smooth. Right now no matter how bad it gets they are better of than before.
I see the Teabaggers are out in force today. Spreading MIS-information and Fear mongering!
What I am thankful for is that Obama was elected. I could just imagine where this country would be today, Had McLame and that Tadpole Palin won....Geeeez, I shiver just thinking about it.
This election shows no better candidates than the last election for the GOP. But now with the sitting Congress having the LOWEST rating EVER (ever since those Teabaggers were elected) they think they still RULE???
YOU LOST the election Braggers, Obama is the President, get over it. Maybe, just maybe if you'd rethink your priorities in government, rather than the #1, being ousting Obama, people wouldn't speak of you the way they do!!! NOT jobs, not THE ECONOMY, just get rid of Obama.
If Libya follows your lead, they will fall into that "Bottomless Pit" and NEVER climb out. Transition takes time. Even here in the US, after the near collaspt our our economy from 8 years of GOP rule.....It's going to take time to recover. I DON'T THINK AMERICA OR LIBYA, IS READY FOR MORE GOP GARBAGE.
Steve 514
You've made my point exactly Obama does'nt look like any former president on our currency, and people like yourself are so blinded by that fact that your reality has taken a spill and your perceptions dont quite jive with the rhetoric and propaganda you've been fed since a baby. President Obama is a moral man in a world of corrupt marauding corporatist, and propped up dictators. Your vision of America only works for one segment of the population according to you they are the productive ones code word" hardworking Americans" but you can't explain the downfall of the American dream without blaming the poor and a Black President that has been resisted by your "Hard Working Amercians" in the legislative bodies. reality is an unconvient truth that must keep you awake at night trying to ignore and dispell. Greed and gluttony for power has brought this country to its knees in the depression era, the citizens were oppressed and the minorities were decimated all for one minority the 2% ers of that era. America needs a FDR and a true tea party to free us from the bondage of coporate domination.
I thought it WAS a bottomless pit already. My bad.
True it takes time and the people there don't have the patience to allow things to happen in a timely fashion.
They also have the religious fanatics that will cause as much unrest as possible so they can take control. smell the $#!+ yet! its so obvious its pathetic a real democracy will never happen as long as the religious fruit cakes have their way. it will never get better. all that was accomplished is to replace a problem with a problem, instead of Daffy dictating it will be some religious nut dictating. the people are not ready for true democracy, they don't even know what that is! till they understand freedom of religion and separation of church and state. their cleric's are the ones that need to go, its the religious freaks that will make sure that nothing will work until they have their way. thats not freedom, and thats not democracy.
That's where your wrong. I give the Obama administration all the blame for the 12.7K market level. The only reason the stock market has increased is because of all that money printed by the Obama administration. That money has no where else to be invested. Let me ask you this: Is the 12.7K level of the market after 'quantitative easing' (that's printing devalued money if you don't know) really greater in value than the 10K level at pre-QE levels?
well maybe if the bloody yanks hadn't handed the place to AL-Queda none of this would've happened!
So, what's your point?
JPSOTW:You can hide a mountain under the money Obama has printed that's all he does when he isn't on Vacation.
Print money and make things look good, but every time a bill gets printed, the one in your bank account becomes less valuable. so whats the point! we are being devalued as a whole. New world order means everyone except the 1% get on the sinking raft, 1% your helicopter is on its way. this whole thing is doomed to failure. watch and learn what happens around the world, because those events are going to happen to us as well. there will be a total collapse, new world order can't work, its just a socialist dream, or should I say nightmare! as for Libya, forget them we can't help them, let them solve their own problem.
I am not sure if these statement is sarcasism or not. But I am going to take it as they are.
While it is true that President Obama cannot be to blame for a rebellion in Libya. He can and is to blame for the complete destruction of the existing controlling government of the time. It was just about apparent to the world that the rebels were going to lose to the Libya established government prior to the push to get teh UN security council to pass that resolution. That resolution was sponsored and diplomatically pushed by the Ambassador of the United States, France, and Britain. The Ambassador of the United States answers to the President of the United States and executes his policy goals.
This gave the prelude for the United Stated military to be order to destroy most of the controlling government of Libya and its military. You may argue as to the moral justification for the action, but you should not really argue for the fact that the United States military involvement was what allowed the rebels to win their rebellion. Without that atttack on Libya, the rebels would have been killed by the government and military.
So while President Obama cannot really be blamed for a rebellion in Libya. He can be blamed for the complete destruction of the controlling government and military that was in Libya at the time. And the resulting chaos from that destruction is the point behind this article.
"Occupy Libya"....there's likely a few 'OWS' folks green with envy, but taking notes.
Dave-in-Conyers
First, Idon't see where anyone said it was ALL one persons fault. Second, there is ONE person that WE can blame for OUR share of what has transpired and, as is always the case, that ONE person resides in the White House. Don't go blaming the last guy for the messes he helped create if you're not willing to do the same for the current POTUS.
liberty&freedom LuVr
Learn the facts L&F. Bush and Cheney started all these wars, not Obama.
I think some of this is getting blown out of proportion. The country was ruled by one guy for a generation. Lots of people opposed him, but very likely for lots of reasons. It is pure fantasy to thing that all of a sudden these people could rally around someone or some new government. It's not like the rebels had some George Washington or even an organized approach to what they wanted. No Libyan Declaration of Independence leading up to Qaddafi's overthrow.
What is happening is pretty typical of most "people's movements" overthrow of a government. Sure it would be nice if it were otherwise, but it isn't realistic. We don't have a lot of room to criticize, just look at the Republican primary process. So far we have only been looking at the voice of about a million people who have, at least in theory, the same political goals. Yet this rather select and clearly non-homogeneous group has change their minds about who and what they want about every two weeks! And we're already a Democracy.
It took 5 years to ratify the US Constitution after the Revolutionary War was over. It was 12 years after we declared indepenence. 17 years after the Boston Massacre. So how we could expect the Libyan government to revamp itself in a matter of a few months is nothing but fantasy. If you look at the Libyan Revolution, they are just in their infancy. With the help of NATO forces and the UN, they were able to fast track the deposing of Qaddafi, but they have really had almost no time to get unified. Libya is going to be a mess for a while, it would be foolish to think otherwise.
When we fight these wars for commercial interest we don't care about the people.
ag99; You might want to look and see who is in power in Libya, and in Egypt, right now. The brotherhood, and other extreme muslim groups. In Egypt, the brotherhood controls 47% of the seats in their govt.. Radicals have taken over Libya. Radicals that Ghadifi, kept at bay. He wasn't the answer for Libya, I'll grant you that, but look what the heck they've got now. And don't give me that tired excuse, that obama had nothing to do with this. His name is stamped on this. You want to blame bush for iraq, okay, but this is on obama, and nobody else. PERIOD!
veteran: You missed my point. Libya has a very young govt. It's premature to judge the success of their revolution this early; the suppposed radicalness of its elected officials is irrelevant, as is Obama's support for military action. Give Libya time to stabilize and truly show its colors, THEN judge.
Perhaps Obama helped with the Arab spring because he is a closet Muslim, and he had an agenda. Maybe even his endless supply of money during the 2008 elections is due to backing from rich Arabs.
The puppet government of Libya can not have legitimacy. It was created by NATO and the U.S after barbaric killing of Kadhafi which is a war crime as we all saw on TV. Rasmussen needs to be tried for war crimes , otherwise Nurenberg Trials are meaningless. They were biased at Nurenberg as well because the butchers of the Soviet Union were judging Germans and the West was handing over people for slaughter in Austria to the Soviets ( Operation Keelhaul till Mrs. Roosevelt interfered )-so one might say that not much have changed. The victors are right, the victims wrong and barbarism continues. I feel badly for the people of Libya - instead of betterment they are on a path to worse misery.
No American troops killed and no American troops in Libya. That's all I care about as an American citizen. Good luck Libya, you're going to need it.
Well then, why don't you reimburse the US government the 2 billion they spent handing the oil back to France and Britain
Which country is next?, Pathetic, all that money we spent on << liberating?>> countries could have been used to fix OUR OWN problems, I'm glad I am retired, lived in a good era, when you could make a decent living, no more now.
As for lybia, I'm sure it will be the same, only with different brutal people in charge
Syria and Iran are next.
Easy to protest much harder to rule. Amazing to me that anyone expected anything else. Those that wanted power now have it. They now will try to fill their pockets while trying to present an acceptable face to the west.
The people will suffer and continue their tribal ways and maintain a distrust for the government. As the Arab Spring moves into Summer we will see that little more than the names of the leaders have changed.
One must wonder why we were involved in the support of the rebellions in Libya and Egypt, but we stand quietly by as the Syrians are in seemingly worse shape. Assad must be doing something for us. The American government has blood on its hands. We need to get out and stay out of the middle east.
Atlas will.....Syria is NOT in worse shape...the Mainstream media only makes out that Syria is in bad shape....despite what you hear on TV...Assad enjoys popular support......The unrest is fomented by The CIA on the ground in Syria as an attempt to destabilize the Syrian regime.....There are only two non client states of the US in the middle East.....IRAN and SYRIA.....guess which two are in the crosshairs of the US>>>
fb, syria not in worse shape? 6414 people killed in protests so far.
http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy-ab&hl=en&source=hp&q=estimate+of+people+kiiled+in+syria+protests&pbx=1&oq=estimate+of+people+kiiled+in+syria+protests&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=1286l8020l0l8255l43l29l0l7l7l1l236l4607l6.17.6l34l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&fp=339f89ea28169800&biw=1362&bih=852
519 people were killed by libyan government forces during protests.

How can you say it is not worse? What did people think would happen? We supported the uprisings in Egypt and Libya, then the results are utter chaos and we have the radical muslims that are trying to take control of the country. Although Mubarek and Qadaffi were far from innocent, we are replacing it with something that is far worse than what they had. obama does not understand this. obama does not understand that these radical muslim factions want the total annihilation of Israel and the United States. Nothing short of that.
Mark.....I am on the same page with you....what I am saying is the CIA is fomenting the violence in Syria there are many independant reports of this.....Research CIA and Syria......this is no coincidence that all these countries are in upheavel at the same time.....other forces are at work..... It is an agenda of the US to replace these Govts with regimes that take orders from Washnigton.....
There is a bigger agenda at work ......to remap the Middle East with US friendly regimes.....Just look at whos in our crosshairs...Iran and Syria.......look at every other Govt in the middle east...they are all our allies and have US military bases on their soil....
You're correct, Mark. fb's tinfoil hat is too heavy-duty to let the moonbeams of wisdom through. But enough about him, nothing can be done about that.
"Although Mubarek and Qadaffi were far from innocent, we are replacing it with something that is far worse than what they had."
Actually, 'we' are not replacing anything with anything at this point. It's the stupid Muslim citizenry that is shooting themselves in both feet by putting these religious fruitcakes in power. Like the Palestinians voting in Hamas...their stupidity is astounding. They really DO need dictators to torture and murder them into line...they just can't seem to live in freedom and the modern world without the whip.
"Obama does not understand this. obama does not understand that these radical muslim factions want the total annihilation of Israel and the United States. Nothing short of that."
Okay, I'll give you that one. Hell, I can't understand it either!! I'd prefer to live in freedom and peace.
fb....your reply to Mark did not show up until I refreshed. Felt I had to answer.
"this is no coincidence that all these countries are in upheavel at the same time.....other forces are at work"
It's 'Monkey see...monkey do'. "Tunesia did it...so can we!' 'Libya did it and NATO helped them...we can too!' So everybody is trying it...Yemen, Syria....but maybe we've learned our lesson, because nobody is rushing to their aid.
"There is a bigger agenda at work ......to remap the Middle East with US friendly regimes"
Actually, it's quite the opposite. We (as well as Israel) didn't have a better friend than Mubarek, and we threw him under the bus. Why would we do that? It certainly wasn't in our interest. As far as Kaddafy, he was insane, but he worked with us. Now we're going to have to deal with chaos there, as well as in Egypt. If our 'bigger agenda' was to 'remap the ME with US friendly regimes', we couldn't have made a bigger mess of it if we tried. No, I think our attempt was to back the winning side after the uprisings began, but we're dealing with Muslims and the 11th century religious fanatics who keep these ignorant people under their spell. A no-win situation.
This is the direct fault of interfering with NO PLANNING by the Obama administration- words but no deeds. Obama adm./CIA/Obama doctrine in NATO/al Qaeda metamorphosed into 'admirable rebels' by the Obama adm./CIA/AL. Now they are attacking the NTC in Benghazi- what about the rival militias in Tripoli and elsewhere offing each other on their wanted turfs? What about saving civilians lives- there are over 7,ooo civilians (migrants, darker pigmented Libyans et al) held incommunicado by the rebel militias- unaccounted,w/o judicial or Red Cross or Aid agencies help- their children not knowing whether their parent(s) are dead or alive now resettled in other countries- not a peep from Bama adm.- Obama adm. owes the world to make sure the 'detainees' have access to judiciary and international aid agencies and to be visited and accounted for by ICRC and the children- cast away in the far lands- doesn't Obama adm. have any conscience- they are responsible for this debacle and the shattered lives of all children refugees .There was no planning for after by Obama adm.- no structure for g'ment agencies, disarming militants, let alo9ne the vast armaments of Quaddafi. Shameless, heartless, infamous.
they should have left Muammar alone at least he kept the country prosperous, but as we all know a democratic society is an impoverish society.
Not for those of us, willing to work.
harrykid, you are partially right. We should have left them alone. But, it is not capitalism that leads to impoverished society, it is socialism.
No harrykid is right. A democracy is nothing but a dictatorship of the majority, which has never worked in the long run. That's why our founders set us up as a republic which we stayed until the 17th amendment to the constitution. That's why we are on the road that we are traveling as a nation.....we are no longer a TRUE republic.
right of right you are correct.laws only get changed when there are a few who will benefit even though many will suffer. a democracy at work for the chosen few.
Crippling superstition, blind faith, tightly bound tribal rules, lack of education, corruption, executions - public or private, and too many babies lead to an impoverished nation.
Liberty, tolerance, cooperation, and transparency lead to prosperity. But you can't tell people that.
no it is just greed.
Is that before, or after he sponsors another terrorist act like the Locherbie, Pan Am - Flight 103 in which some 200 innocent civilians were killed.
Bush Sr. blew the crap out of Qaddafi home for that one. Well done sir.
Iraq is becoming a Sunni police state and Libya is heading toward a bottomless pit. Yemen had to give its outgoing president amnesty to try to prevent civil war. Iran is rattling its scimitar with Russian support. On and on it goes with Muslims. But Obama wants to be their friend. I don't!
Hmmmm, Giving Israel all are support has really helped us huh? Your christianity is showing in your tolerance KounrtyKook.
Not trying to sound like a schoolteacher but kountryking...it's a Shiite police state. There is a difference. Not in the 1%....It's our not are. your use of grammar and lack of knowledge about why we support Israel gives me insight into why you're not in the 1%.
Shi'ia police state kountryking Einstein. Hussein was Suuni, al-Malaki is Shi'ia. Watching Foxnews makes you dumb.
This is why I supported Gadhafi from the start. I knew that it would come to this. Democracy is not the solution most of the time and is CERTAINLY not for the Middle East. When will the West ever learn??
Boy!What a suprise!Absolutely SHOCKING!
I'm going back to the Sunday comics now,see ya!
YUP, any idiot knew that these countries would become Islamic Paradises and ruled by the gift from Allah, Sharia Law, with a whole lot of killin on da side. The one outcome I didn't think of at the beginnin was that Libya would ethnically "Cleanse" their darker citizens and guest workers. Was this from a leader who's father clan considered themselves Arab. LOL!
Letting the animals out of the cage at the zoo is a very bad idea...
ron paul is the solution
Ron Paul is our only solution, but there are too many with their cup against the Kool-aid spigot. Damn, South Carolina thinks GingRICH is the answer! Now there is a state that needs vast amounts of education reform? The powers that control the Main stream media go out of their way to ignore and belittle him, that should be enough of a clue that he is dangerous to them?
Hey I thought protesting was the way to go, I guess it only works in the United States.
How about sending or past leader's to help. What a Bang up Job thy did for the good old U.S.A...Cheif got to move Tee PEE full of Sh*#
Obama - you broke it - you own it!
Let the NTC give the Libyan people what they struggled for-an Islamic country ruled by representatives of the people, not a surrogate country under the control of Italy and other looters. The Western conspiracy is boomeranging on their faces!
Well look's like yet Another country we helped to Unstableize. Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Afghanistan. Who's next? Step right up, don't be bashful. We have plenty of money and men to squander for Absolutely Nothing.
Obama wanted a change and this is it. What now?
So, this is the Obama hope and change, fine job ya fricken clown.
I hate to say this but...........................
Obama had no right to go into this country and do what he did, even if it was behind the guise of NATO.
The leader might not of been perfect, but all you did was rob this nation of its wealth for political reasons and handed the people over to the real tyrants and killers.
Try this one on Iran and you just might get a nuclear war back in the face.
Iraq failed now this I don't want to ask who is next?
Mission failed big time.
You people bashing the President have not got a clue!
Tell us what your army of clowns would do different, so far they have dragged their feet and slowed the recovery down, they have blocked the Bush tax cuts, from being reinstated, they blocked the jobs bill they have said no to many times to count, they have no plan, but you want one of them to become the next President! "THANKS BUT NO THANKS" Obama 2012 and a congress that will work with him!!!
Dale....you're clueless. Stop watching MSNBC. The Republicans didn't stop the Bush tax cuts from being reinstated they stopped them from being cut by the Democrats. When your precious POTUS had a Democratic congress they didn't focus on the economy they focused on Obamacare and ran up a 4.6 Trillion debit in 3 1/2 years. More than the combined debit from Washington to the second Bush and just asked Congress for 1.2 trillion more.
If you take a stick and stir up a cesspool it stinks even more. The entire middle east is a cesspool which has been stirred. Please just let these idiots sort it out for themselves. Too much blood and treasure has been lost already!
Now would be a good time to pass the jobs bill! and start fixing our infrastructure in this country, and put around two million people to work!!!
These other countries can work out their own problems, and when they do they will not have any other nation to blame if they don't do it right, we need to concentrate on this country, and passing the jobs bill would be a good start!!!
Hey Dale, President Obama so called jobs bill is just another way of throwing more money after bad money to buy temporary jobs to help this fool try and get re elected in November 2012. He could not even fool his own Party. He is such a poor ecuse as a President he makes Jimmy Carter look good and Richard Nixon look like an Honest man
So I guess the Pentagon war industries jobs the GOP are pushing to bloat the debt are the answer? Or perhaps the "job creators" that created no jobs during 8 years of Bush need even more ways to loot the country through the federal reserve and carefully wordsmithed tax law?
Not Good Obama - Another F-Up on your watch. How many errors, misjudgements, screw-up's and idiotic manuvers can you make before your base figures it's best that you head for the barn?
how is this a "f-up" by obama? what, you liked crazy dictators? If things get worse that's on the libyan people, not obama.
No change.
