Subscribe to RSSA woman who stole $48 million from her employer then went on a massive shopping spree, buying property, jewelry and high-fashion clothes, was sentenced to 15 years in prison, Australian media reported.
Rajina Subramanian, 43, was a senior accountant with ING Holdings when she took the money out of the company’s account in what the Sydney Morning Herald called the "largest case of fraud by an individual woman in Australia's history."
During sentencing the judge noted that she had never used the items or properties, however, and lessened the no-parole portion of her sentenced to seven years in order for her to get psychological counseling.
The judge said she had been abused by her grandfather when she was a child, which had left her with a personality disorder.

This jerk would have said Charles Manson's mommy didn't love him so he couldn't be held accountable for his crimes....personality disorder my azz!
Maybe the Judge was her Grandfather.
The abuse plea again. There are many people that were abused and did something constructive with their lives. So the Judge was hood winked.
Confiscate all her ill-gotten gains and sentence her to 20 years in hard labor camp. 12 hour work days and occasional beatings if she gets out of line. Show this maggot no mercy. Psycho crap plea, her lawyer should be taken to the outback and fed to the crocodiles.

thats if she didnt have give back stuff she bought and left over money if she didnt then 7 years in jail for 48 million is more profitable than going work for rest of your life for tiny fraction of that money. again where do i sign up
