Much as I hate Harper i have to disagree with you about the "Great Jewish Congress rules the world" If Harper is serving any master it is the US Right.

I have posted many comments on CBC about Israeli policies and actions without any problems. I suspect that you may be dropping into hate speech and that is restricted in Canada. It is a compromise between actual restrictions and complete idiocy.

I pray everyday for universal healthcare. Can you imagine a country where you walk in and have all your healthcare needs taken care of for a small fee. Or not having to stay in your job you hate because you can't go without healthcare? I can hardly wait. If we can waste 726 BILLION on the military complex to make the rich richer, than we can spend at least that much on healthcare.

Well, they may have health care for their citizens, but they don't get to walk around with guns like we do. When will they ever get their priorities straight?

In 1995 I researched this and since then have found Socialized Medicine. The local governing powers decide if you get good medical treatment or are symptom treated and left to die becasue of something that could be taken care of without. Stringent medical treatment.

I know because I was crippled and poisoned by the doctors being paid to treat me. In the USA you are supposed to beable to have your day in court. We now have a socialized government who does not allow you your day in court. If the perpitratiors voted for them.

actually, china has the most free market form of medicine in the world. Little government assistance, no insurance. If you can't pay, you just die. Given the china or the canada system, i would take the latter. Which I would gladly trade for the system that we have had in the usa.

I find it hilarious when some U.S. citizens criticize Canada's health care system. It's far from being perfect of course... but the U.S. is ranked 36th in the world when it comes to life expectancy, far below Canada and ironically just below....Cuba!! lol. (just Google "list of countries per life expectancy" and see by yourself)

The USA did not decide not to build "the pipeline." the Obama administration decided that it would not be coerced into approving the pipeline on an artificially-abbreviated timeline imposed for political purposes. Thank God this administration is not easily intimidated. That pipeline will probably get approved soon, in an altered route, with proper regulation. We maintain a government, in part, so industry cannot run roughshod over the long-term public interest. That regulatory protection is essential to our society, and well justifies the taxes it costs us.

Henry III is correct. 70% of Canadian exports go to the USA and PM Stephen Harper has already stated that Canada prefers to sell their oil to US. His trip to China was more about Canadian beef and lumber.

According to current census the Muslim population in Canada is approx. 904,000 and is expected to triple in the next 20 years, whereas the Jewish population stands at approx. 320,000 so please don't bother insinuating that Canada indulges the Jews.

DAM & Toasty The pipeline was to get Canadian heavy oil to processing plants in Texas that are currently under-utilized. I personally hope that we build the refineries here and ship gas to the US and to China.
