Paul, you are quite gullible to to say the least. First of all, in the case of these 9 poor innocent women, the article seems to omit what their husbands do, except for one guy whos a Hamas member. If I had to bet on it, id say they are either Hamas members or terrorist supporters or worse.

And this is exactly the problem with Westerners not understanding the situation there. "palestinians" are notorious drama queens and love to play the victim card for the camera because they are sure they can manipulate anyone watching. That is exactly why they love shooting rockets from populous areas - because Hamas loves to get their own people killed, the more women and children the better. Now I know, that might confuse a Westerner, but makes total sense to a terrorist. More international sympathy and more recruits, not to mention they're martyrs and are on their way to paradise because they fought the good fight and gave their lives to allah - so its ok.

People need to understand that even to the most moderate "palestinian", the only peace that will ever be achieved is for Israel to disappear - exactly why they never signed a peace treaty and recognized Israel as a Jewish state. They dont want a 2 state solution, or even 67 borders. Matter of fact, Abbas said it himself on Egyptian TV that he wont recognize a Jewish state, and if any "palestinian" leader ever said that he wants peace based on recognition of Israel as a Jewish state it would be political suicide and probably a very physical one as well.
