Model Simone Farrow arrives at the domestic terminal of Sydney airport in police custody following her arrest on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.
International swimsuit model Simone Farrow has been arrested in Australia after skipping out on bail on drug-running charges, according to news reports.
Farrow, a 37-year-old former Penthouse Pet and bikini model also known as Simone Starr, was found in a cheap hotel on the Gold Coast Highway in eastern Australia last week, reports say.
Farrow was later extradited to Sydney, where she reportedly arrived in tears, a month after skipping out on her $150,000 bail.
"The only reason I've done this is because someone was trying to murder me,” she said, according to the Daily Telegraph.
"I've been in ... relationships with numerous underworld figures or whatever you want to call them and I feel that maybe they feel threatened by my situation," she said.
"I wasn't trying to flee the country at all; I was trying to protect myself from being killed or harmed."
In 2009, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration officials raided Farrow’s Hollywood, Calif., apartment, and claimed to find evidence she ran a crystal meth ring.
Farrow allegedly used the apartment as the staging ground for shipments of drugs to Australia in packages of bath salts.

Just because it wouldn't be your first choice doesn't mean it's not the right path for other people. If someone doesn't have any discernible talent other than being very good looking, who are you to judge them for making money by showing that off?

You obviously don't realize we all make "judgements" about each other on a daily basis, and yeah she should have chosen a "better path" like an education and contributed something positive to society instead of wasting her time in destructive industries like porn. If her choices were better, she wouldn't be in this situation.
She had connections with criminals. By definition, she hasn't chosen the right path.
Depends on what your definition of success is. If she wanted to date people with lots of money and be showered with cash and gifts, then by all measures, she probably succeeded and by definition, chose the "right path" to reach her goals. Penthouse Pets don't date drug lords because they're nice guys, they date them because they are flithy rich beyond imagination and can throw diamonds and Lamborghinis around like it's nothing.
You'll pardon me for saying so, but the opportunity to see her nude is a positive contribution to society.
Spartan you would be correct in that judgement, but Hanabahn and Ines would be incorrect for judging her for being in penthouse. So what, big deal. My morals are not the same as your morals and hers are not the same as either of ours. I bet you are both very religious and it disturbs you that she took the path that she did because of those beliefs, yet while you hold her to your morals, you do not hold yourself to the same morals the book teaches you to be yourself. Hipocrytical people are the stupidest in my opinion.
Shallow thinking is exactly why some (especially dumbass ones) "good looking" women end up in bad situations in the first place! Also, the fact that she "dated" drug lords is asking for trouble and I don't feel bad for her for one second. She deserves what she gets. A lifstyle like that never leads to anything good anyway. She may have had her diamonds and fast cars, but she'll end up in jail or dead because of the lifestyle she CHOSE and the circles she CHOSE to run with, and there will be no need for any diamonds or fast cars then. There are plenty of hot, good looking women who chose the right path in life and didn't use their looks to get them places, and they don't end up like her.
So much much judgement in this world. But who exactly gave you the right to judge? Really shouldn't go there unless you are agnostic/atheist (which to be clear is my view) and do not believe in some FINAL judgement. 8 out of 10 of you should be worried.

Can't account for some people's tastes. For some, the danger is a big turn-on, I guess. If dangerous guys are what turns on her sprinkler system, then I guess she was just doing what she needed to do.

Erm... porn isn't a destructive industry. You must be thinking of prostitution, which is a crime and isn't regulated, so anyone working in it is pretty much risking their life on a daily basis. Porn doesn't make you take hard drugs, though the stigma attached to it doesn't help the egos of said women, which can lead to substance abuse. If anything, being a teenager in school has much, MUCH higher drug usage than simply working in porn. Wouldn't that mean that if you go to school you're a loser?
Still, I'll always run into the "moral minority" types that try to tell me that porn is evil and wrong and an affront to decency... when in fact it's just someone recording one of the most natural things in the world. Heck, cheerleaders ordering Pizza and asking for extra sausage is what our VERY SOCIETY is based off!

At first I thought is complete fabrications because their trying to anger US citizens for political reasons, then you watch their english speaking channel and you press conferences with government officials even President Obama which proves at least 1/4 of the things they are talking about.

That's not really true. Some change some don't. I've seen both kinds. Some tweekers can do it for years and have no outward signs.
it is evil. its also a very easy addiction to cover up if you have the money and/or desire to keep it hidden. i did it for 17 years undetected and only after i told my family did anybody know. not every meth head is without teeth and have facial scars. you would only think that because thats the only ones who show visible signs. functional meth heads are everywhere, eating, sleeping, working right along side every day people.

They call it dope because drugs have an effect on the amount of dopamine your brain releases while under the influence. Dopamine is a chemical released in the brain that controls your sense of pleasure.

I'm an atheist who woke up this morning in my three-bedroom home in a nice suburb and had relations (see there? I'm respecting your tender sensibilities) with my mixed-race girlfriend before getting into my own car and driving off to work. After work, I'll probably go home and have a beer or two while I work on my yard before I go to band practice at my friend's recording studio. I seem to be awash with freedoms. The opportunity to be free of state religion, get a good education and job, date people outside my ethnicity, drink alcohol, and create my own art regardless of its social or political message would be denied me in some form or another in probably 75% of the countries on this planet.

Your civil liberties are being eroded every day. When you hear Republicans babble about small government, they're generally talking about reducing regulations for corporations, not civil liberties. In fact, they like nothing better than to legislate what goes on in your bedroom.
Chris, our liberties and freedoms are eroding faster than you realize. When a guy with $50 of pot or a guy caught drunk in public can face more legal ramifications than a guy who beats his wife or the head of a drug ring, thats F'd up. A person with a decent job will pay his/her fines. Drug addicts won't. The courts have figured out if you throw the book at every possible scenario, the ones with something to lose pay up. Again, its the responsible people in society supporting the ones who would rather do 150 days in jail than to pay $100 a month for a year. Wake up.
To be fair, Democrats aren't that much better. Left vs. right politics have come to an end--the two sides are almost the same now. Ron Paul's the only alternative, but I'll be (pleasantly) surprised if he gets the nomination.

And Obama's failed to make good on his promises--not to mention that he's nowhere near as anti-war as we thought. That leaves Ron Paul as the only option that's truly viable.

Penthouse was considered trashy before the internet allowed the porn industry to really unleash the seedier side of human sexuality. Compared to 90% of the stuff you can find on the internet (and yes, I have probably seen that much of it), Penthouse spreads are downright artful.
