With all the gun totters here in the USA, may be we should have a gun fight day for them!

The police could break it up, or join in.

Sounds like Mike needs a little stimulus to his love life...I love but it isn't guns!

I love guns, because our guns will allow us to tell the feds to f!$k off if they keep trying to push socialism\new world order down our throats...Yeah, you guys may say "but what about the high tech military?" Well, first all of, at least half of the U.S. military (if not more) would be on our side, because they would remember the oath that they took to protect the U.S. Constitution. Second, NO standing army (not even China with their tanks and military weapons) could contain 100 + million angry American citizens with a lot of guns and ammo. It would be impossible! Unless they think that they can live in their tanks 365 days a year without ever leaving....just saying...they got leave sometime...and we would be waiting....lots of us are very good snipers....

Considering what the Chinese might use to make those pillows, perhaps it was prudent. Also, there are logistical concerns to allowing such a demonstration. Perhaps the authorities are concerned that public pillow fights could deteriorate into more violent encounters. Take ol' Rick Mage who comments above and thinks that the bar on pillow fights means it's time to bring out the guns. Really, bring out the guns over a bar on pillow fighting? Gosh, and here I thought the revolution would be over something more important. Yeah ol' Mage is ready to step in front of a tank to protect the public's right to engage in public pillow fights. Ol' Blood and Guts Mage is ready to defend our pillow fighting rights to the death. Let me just shed a tear...I've never been so moved by bravery and determination. Please!

I'm reminded of a line spoken over police radio in GTA:SA.

"People having fun! Stop at once!"

The police must have been concerned that the labels may be torn from the pillows. Crime prevention at work!

        Why is this news?

Where is the article following up on the GSA scandal in Vegas or the whispering to the Russian during the open mic?

          The sun rose today.

Just one more failure of the failed Obama presidency.

they have international gun fight day everyday in florida and california and...the problem is...only one side of the fighters are armed...it's the basic fact of gun ownership...if you are packin heat...you think every one else is as well...guns don't make people safer...they make them more paranoid and afraid...they believe the "boogeyman" is going to harm them or their family members...the sad truth...they themselves are the "boogeyman"...ask any gun owner what they love more...their guns...or their fellow man(ie...that stranger walkin down the street...who could be a father...brother...uncle...son)...the answer will always be their guns...with the concepts of their freedom twisted into some sort of so called patriotic idiocy...how about the freedom of the rest of us...the non-gun toting public just trying to go about our days in peace...if you look at the numbers of people killed by guns who were unarmed compared to gun toting killers shot by law abiding gun owners...well...it's sad...really sad...heck...in florida if you come at someone with a pillow...they could kill you and claim they were just standing their ground...and walk...heck...to some folks i look scary...i have a shaved head and wear second hand clothes...i chop wood so i have some muscle mass...so...me walkin down the street...you might think trouble...but...i'm a buddhist...vegetarian...who buys second hand clothes because they are cheaper and not filling landfills...not a skinhead nazi out lookin to harm you or yours...would you give me the benefit of the doubt if you saw me walkin down your street at night?(I sometimes walk to and from work to save money and keep myself healthy...and sometimes i work late)...so...if you see some shaved head dude walkin after dark on your street...lookin kind of haggard...it could be me after a long day...DON'T SHOOT...I'M UNARMED....i'm just tired and hungry and lookin forward to a hot bath and a meal...and maybe...a pillow fight with my son...

Don't project your opinion of what I may think you look like on to me. You have no idea of what others and myself think. The right to bear arms is a freedom we can enjoy if we choose to and it is not patriotic idiocy because you choose not to exercise your rights. I own guns but seldom carry one. If I'm about to enter a place where it might be needed I would do whatever it takes to ensure safety for myself and those with me. I am not afraid but am cautious when caution is called for. Strangers and people that are different do not alarm me without good reason. I cut and split wood for two furnaces all winter and wear old clothes also. I know where you're coming from and understand to the best of my ability but don't paint all gun owners and carriers with that same broad brush. I know many of them and you haven't described one of them in your post.

Pillow Fight is NOT environmental conscious. It pollutes the air and surroundings. Responsive citizens should NOT do this silly thing what-so-ever. This non-sense should not even be allowed in your own room, let alone doing in the public scene.

This is hardly worthwhile reporting as news on MSNBC.

                        I'm for the pillow fight.

Chinese and many Asian countries are repressive and stuck up so good luck letting the fun human nature come out.

This article and the accompanying photo are a wonderful illustration of human playfulness. I feel sad for those of you who have turned it into an opportunity to push your political agendas.
