Actually i have managed to get more than 55; 155; 1,055 and 10,055 miles from my place of birth. That being said, my place of birth is not the same place i consider my "Home Town" and i have gotten equally as far away from there as well. I've gotten to see other countries in the world, mostly in the conditions that Sudan presents. There is no helping those countries that are ruled by "elected" dictators unless the people there do something. otherwise the old get replaced with the new and they are exactly the same, just a new face to put to the terror. Let them to their devices and pull all aid and military support until after they sort it out themselves. Sudan is a Muslim majority contry. South Sudan is mainly Christian and animist. The government of Sudan murdered over 3 million southern Sudanese over the course of 3 million years largely because they were Christian and had darker skin than the Sudanese of the north.

This is the same Sudanese government that has raped or killed tens of thousands of Sudanese in the Dharfur region because the people of Dharfur have very dark skin.

The former head of Libya is known to have actively carried out terrorist plots against American citizens and businesses, and he is known to have actively sought nuclear weapons, including very recently.

President Bush, with a last minute assist from President Obama, accomplished regime change in Iraq at a cost of thousands of American lives plus three trillion dollars and counting. Prior to regime change, Iraq had a secular government, Christians were allowed to live and worship in peace, there were no government ties to terrorists, and the government's former attempt to obtain nuclear weapons had been effectively shut down and there was no continuance.

Even if we acknowledge that both instances of regime change made the world a better place, which leader implemented the more cost effective course of action? President Bush spent $3,000 dollars for every one dollar spent by President Obama; and 2,000 American lives (4,500 soldiers) were lost in Iraq for every American life (two journalists) lost in Libya. That doesn't count the estimated 10,000 Libyans and 100,000 Iraqis who lost their lives.
