LONDON -- An American self-defense expert -- who teaches people how to deal with "kill-or-be-killed" situations -- has been banned from entering Britain. Officials say Tim Larkin's presence "was not conducive to the public good."
Larkin attempted to board a flight to the U.K. from Las Vegas, but was given a letter from the U.K. Border Agency saying he would not be allowed in, according to BBC News.
"The home secretary [the U.K. government's interior minister] will seek to exclude an individual if she considers that his or her presence in the U.K. is not conducive to the public good," a government spokesperson told the BBC, confirming Larkin was subject to an exclusion order.
Heathrow chaos: Travelers spend more time in line than in the air
Larkin, who runs a company called Target Focus Training, previously came to the U.K. in 2009, when he taught a class to teach people how to "maim and kill in self-defense," the BBC reported.
Trains Navy SEALs
According to his firm's website, Larkin is "the guy operations like the US Navy SEALs, Army Special Forces and the U.S. Border Patrol call in behind-the-scenes to teach them when it’s 'kill-or-be-killed.' The truth is … your best self defense in a life-or-death confrontation is injuring the other guy. And it’s the one thing that makes us so different."
Larkin has spoken to government officials and business people in more 40 countries about surviving life-or-death violence, according to the website. He also co-authored a book called How To Survive The Most Critical 5 Seconds Of Your Life and writes an online newsletter, Secrets For Staying Alive When Rules Don’t Apply.
The U.K.'s Guardian newspaper ran an online poll about the decision to prevent Larkin from coming to Britain. At 10:15 a.m. ET, more than 72 percent of those choosing to vote said he should have not have been banned.
The BBC said Larkin had been invited to speak at "The Martial Arts Show" conference in Birmingham on May 12 and 13, and to hold a seminar in the Tottenham area of London. Both places experienced rioting during widespread disorder in the U.K. in August last year.
Riots break out in London after fatal-shooting protest
Larkin told the BBC that he thought he had been banned for arguing that U.K. law should be changed to allow people to defend themselves without fear of criminal charges being brought against them.
The riots that left several London neighborhoods burning, caused major property damage and brought hundreds of arrests has given away to a spirit of renewal and civic pride. NBC's Jim Maceda reports.
"You are sitting in your house and you're being attacked, or you're attacked out in the street... There's an awful lot of martial arts and self-defense being taught there right now that gives no instruction on [how to hurt] the human body," he said.
The science of the London riots
"There are those rare, rare black swan occasions -- like the [August] riots -- where law-abiding citizens are put in situations where they are facing grievous bodily harm and they hesitate because they are afraid of being prosecuted. That is a very real thing," he added.

To bad, I just read a study the the U. K. is the most violent country in Europe at this time. It is attributed to the government there protecting the criminals and prosecuting the victims. The U. S. is headed that way with the current people in congress, state and federal.
@car31jou
Sadly your comment is very accurate regarding the USA. The latest agenda on our clueless socialist POTUS' list is rallying cries to repeal "stand your ground" type laws which over 40 states currently have in one form or another. Because it is VERY important to let a straight up stupid ignorant wanna be thug like Trayvon to pound your head against the sidewalk while you sit there and take it right? BS. Dont hear much coverage about that anymore now that the facts have come out and suddenly "Trayvon" was NOT the innocent "victim" but rather the perpetrator who was pounding Zimmerman's head into the pavement? AND NBC GOT BUSTED editing the 911 tapes to make it seem like Zimmerman was racist and criminal and had to fire that editor of that news segment! MAKES one wonder how many OTHER stories have been "doctored/made up/flat out lied about doesnt it America???
I've read that in the U.K. there is/was a push to redesign kitchen knives so they wouldn't have pointy ends, only dull rounded ends. This would apply to restaurants as well.
Perhaps they should require all restaurant food to be put into a blender so the diner could dispense with flatware completely and use a straw. Think how safe the British government would feel.
Still better to be judged by twelve than carried by six.
Dull knives would do more damage than sharp pointed ones.
Remember an unarmed citizen is a victim;
Oh sorry I forgot
The English are subjects (not citizens) and can’t carry arms
This was a good decision by the UK. Can't have the peasants knowing how to defend themselves since we took their guns away!
Wet Willy, they can't ban rocks and socks. Combined they make a very effective weapon.
Really? with so little blood and shin missing on Zimmerman's head?
not a believable story.
Headed that way?? Where have you been? The criminal has had more rights than the victim for decades, only a few states have laws that actually protect the victim and those laws are constantly under fire from the Liberal Left.
Screw the criminal, someone comes in my house or threatens my family or me they had better have made peace with their maker, cause I'm sending them to see Him.
Car: "the U. K. is the most violent country in Europe at this time...The U. S. is headed that way, etc."
I got news for you Car--the USA is already THERE. We are the most violent country--possibly in the world--happy now? Nothing to do with congress--EVERYTHING to do with the wild west gun-toting mentality we foster (and BTW the 2nd amendment was for a well-armed MILITIA--not individual citizens running wild).
Why do you think the UK banned this US citizen?
"The home secretary [the U.K. government's interior minister] will seek to exclude an individual if she considers that his or her presence in the U.K. is not conducive to the public good,"
"... more than 72 percent of those choosing to vote said he should not have been banned"
Obviously the majority of the U.K. public feels that the home secretary is not "conducive to the public good"... hopefully they correct the problem with a new home secretary.
Didn't George take that course???
Unbelievable. People cannot even defend themselves. Same direction our government is wanting to take us. Repeal 2nd amendment, then what? Criminals don't care for the law, nly law abiding citizens. That is what is hard to believe that our politicians don't understand.
We had a guy show up at my work place the other day with a gun, but because of the laws governing where I work, none of us can carry there. You think this nut job cared what the law was? Lucky none of us got hurt. Where is the common sense here?
WHAT?-4099780
The people ARE the militia. ALL of the rights noted in the first ten Amendments to the Constitution of The United States of America, commonly referred to as "The Bill of Rights", are INDIVIDUAL rights. NOT rights of the collective or select groups.
And I believe they "banned this US Citizen" because they are fearful of people becoming independent and able to defend themselves from aggressors. They might want more of their rights restored then.
Don't confuse "Stand your ground" with "Castle" laws that allow you to defend yourself on your own property. Just figured I'd point that out before you confuse anyone else. Isn't Florida's "SYG" law a one-of-a-kind? Even if it isn't, it's nowhere near 40 states that have similar laws.
car, I noticed that you didn't name the study. I doubt the truth of your statement.
I spend a fair bit of time in the UK, and what nearly everyone asks me is why I want to live in a country (US) where people are so violent and have so many guns. I'm always embarrassed by what people in other nations think of the US.
And, all of that is why I am in the process of relocating to Wales within the near future. It's safe there.
Is the UK aware that self defense is a human right?
So the UK is now into violating human rights?
It's so comforting to see that the pro-violence nutjobs consistently post the most unhinged comments to stories like this. These deranged individuals love their pop guns and can't wait to use them; but, not to fear, they are only a menace to anyone who would dare to dissagree. Nope, no relationship between guns and shootings. None whatsoever. The level of ignorance is staggering...
@WHAT?-4099780
So, the next time I have a violent, armed thug in front of me who obviously ignored the "guns are banned now" memo that the rest of us law abiding citizens got, what do I use to keep him from killing me, my wife, and my kids? Harsh language maybe? I challenge you to ask any LE in this country (or any other country) if they can guarantee your safety. I bet they say "no". Who do you think has the final responsibility for your safety...yeah, you Mr. Sheep. I tell you what, let me take you down to 14th street and Floriday Ave in Washington D.C. at about 2 am and you can tell all the homeys how guns should be banned, that'll go over well.
The UK had 1.23 intentional homicides per 100,000 people in 2010. The US had 4.8. Obviously, the UK is doing something right.
Hunger Games anyone?
How sinine - someone is trying to rip your head offf and you tellll me you're thinking about the legal implications of defending yourslef. TYpical RIght WINg unfounded self-justifying spew.
What is wrong with knowing self-defense? Even deadly self defense is perfectly acceptable to know for anyone who wants to learn. It maybe shouldn't be taught to convicted killers or anything of that sort, but empowering citizens is never a bad thing.
Seems to me like the government wants to be ever more controlling so people have to depend on them. The best way to get people to do what you want is to make them believe it is for their own good.
So, Britain would prefer that the Police just take a report from witnesses to a crime rather than allow people the right to defend themselves.
The United States has it's problems, but it's still the best place to live.
I agree.
This guy shot himself in the foot with their feds the second he suggested people defending themselves against the riot police.
9mm: I am an Ex Brit, now a proud US citizen; & you sir are so right
The per capita murder rate is four times higher in the US than in the UK. How is that better?
Well in overall crime rate the UK is right behind us and they are ahead in assaults, rapes, drug offenses, total crime victims, and acquittals in criminal courts.
http://www.nationmaster.com/country/uk-united-kingdom/cri-crime
Did you purposely misinterpret the article or are you just out trollling?
Wow, the UK is really going off the deep end these days. Is that our future?
Only if we allow it Ruken... only if we allow it.
Things are going down hill over there, Just wait 10-15 years when the UK's population is mostly rag heads.
It will be a complete sheite hole.
The UK also bans American conservative talk show hosts (Michael Savage). They have strayed so far from a true democracy. The citizens are not armed and free speech is censored by their government. The USA is headed that way too under the liberal Democrats leading this country now. They will sell the greatness of this nation down the road for power over the people. It has been said over and over here for a couple of years now, "What we see in Europe now is where we will be if we let the Obama's of this country make us into their dream socialist utopia". There has never been a dream socialist utopia in the history of the world. Socialism always collapses under it's own weight.
That is because eventually socialists run out of other folks money to spend. The non producers outnumber the producers, and we are fast heading that way, if not already there.
Lanikai
Britain has never had a true democracy, but then neither has the US. We are a Representative Republic. Britain is a Parliamentary Democracy with a Monarchical figurehead with theoretical executive authority.
Thank God for the 2nd amendment and for Stand your Ground. Go ahead and say whatever you want about Trayvon Martin. Call me a gun nut or anything else you want. The second amendment is one of the few things keeping this country free. It is the only antidote to power-mad politicians and all their dupes who believe government only wants to take care of them. The book "1984" should be required reading in all schools.
Amen King... Amen
king...
Animal Farm is I believe better. It's the politicians motto... everyone is equal, some are just more equal than others
"Call me a gun nut or anything else you want."
You're a freakin' gun nut, and Zimurderer is a killer.
Bob, You're right on one out of two. Zimmerman is a killer. But it remains to be decided if he is a criminal. Obviously, and thankfully, someone with your bias is not qualified to be on his jury. One the other issue, I am not, in fact, a gun nut. I own no firearms, although that is likely to change in the near future. I have not fired a weapon in many years. But thanks, Boob, for playing. Next contestant...
Bob, you're a mindless insect whose preferred lifestyle includes absolutely zero self-determination. People like you are worth less than those who care to stand and choose their own fate.
Hopefully a nice speeding car hood will put you where you belong sometime very soon.
King: There's no way any of us can overthrow the US government! We've got guns--they've got the military with all their BIGGER guns and their nukes. Do you REALLY think your little gun can overthrow the government? Hell, we can't even protest peacefully without being shot, gassed, pepper-sprayed, bean-bagged and arrested!
Hey What! Get a clue! Who said ANYTHING about overthrowing the government?
But do you have any idea how many more armed individuals there are in this country than there are soldiers/sailors/airmen in the entire US armed forces? And that's assuming all the police and military take sides with "the government". And Nukes in our own country against even a risen populace? You must be joking! And BTW, regarding your post above, YOU need to read the 2nd amendment. The right of the PEOPLE to bear arms shall not be infringed. If you study the historical evolution of the amendment, it was fear of a central government (like the English monarchy) and a standing army that drove the adoption of an amendment to maintain an armed populace. Get off your ass and learn something instead of spouting rhetoric like a school kid.
@king - It sure sounds to me like you are talking about overthrowing the government. In fact, it seems you've given it an awful lot of thought.
Radagast- well, he's probably read about Syria, Lybia, and Iran in the news and maybe history books about Nazi Germany and the USSR and maybe the French and American Revolutions.
Either that or he read about Communist China, or Viet Nam, or Laos, or Korea under Japan, or India under British rule, or South America under Spanish rule or...
Or he has given a lot of thought to defending the government from a military coup...
Or maybe he read out about people getting shot, lynched, having police dogs called out on them, blasted with water hoses, and having the National Guard called out to Kent State
Radagast, it sounds an awful lot to me like you are spouting drivel. And not too many people here really care about what you believe I may be thinking. Unless you're the "Thought Police."
I studied Martial Arts for some years, Aikido and Kung Fu. I found them lots of fun. I have used them to defend myself twice in about 40 years. Nothing life threatening. There is a difference defending yourself against an attack and purposely killing the other person. The former the opponent gets up and goes home, the latter he gets a ticket to the morgue. When you kill someone or maimed someone it stays with you all your life. For the military, killing the enemy is their job. It is not your job. 99% of the time, it is an argument over something not worth to hurt anyone. My experience tells me that. It also told me that Aikido was much more practical on the street than the other Martial Arts. You defend yourself and the attacker goes home. Too many of the other Arts are about maiming or killing the other person. I have watched cage fighting and I can see what happened to Martial Arts. It is no longer about defending yourself but maiming and hurting the other person as much as possible.
Good point, but to be far, there are occasions when the other guy won't give as easy, or has backup. The U.K. riots cited by this guy illustrate that quite nicely, in my opinion. Right now I think the Brits might need his methods of self-defense more than we in the U.S. do.
Harry...
My Sensei once noted in a class... "Do your worst first. Your attacker isn't concerned about your health or well being, don't be concerned about his or hers."
Martial arts are for self defense. However, if someone decides to attack you, make sure they can never attack you or anyone else ever again.
XDm9mm - That's in line with what I've always heard: The guy who hits first usually wins.
Jeremiah77 - An old roommate of mine's dad always told him that if he ever gets in a fight, kill the other guy. If it's not worth killing the other guy, it wasn't worth the fight in the first place.
Sometimes, the only way to protect your self is to hurt, or even kill, the other guy. Its a sad part of life today.
Any body heard of CeCe Mc Donald form Minneapolis? She defended herself against racial and transphobic slurs from a group of people who were at a bar. She and her friends were walking past the bar. A woman from the bar attacked her and cut her cheek open. A fight ensued and CeCe ran but a man chased her. As he was pulling her toward him she pulled out a pair of scissors from her purse; she had them because she was in a fashion design class and stabbed him. He died of his wounds and she was arrested and charged with second degree murder. The woman who cut open her cheek was not arrested. Why wasn't she arrested? I can only conclude it was because she was White. Why was CeCe arrested and why weren't the charges dropped because she was defending her self? Be cause she is a Black transgender woman and the man who attacked her was White, at least in my opinion. Talk about blaming the victim; her attacker paid the ultimate price for attacking her but I don't think she should have to spend any time in jail because she used what force she had to and if her attacker didn't want to die that day then he should not have physically attacked her.
I spent a lot of years teaching practical application and studying several different martial arts. One thing I found with the majority of practitioners is that they had no idea how to actually defend themselves in a real and dangerous situation. One of the Aikido instructors I studied under got his butt handed to him and ended up in the hospital because he had never had to use his art in reality and had never studied how to. Another I knew taught police forces down south and practicle application was at the top of his lesson plan. Both good at their art, one had no clue about real life on the street.
Harry, the first thing Tim teaches in his class is "get out of there, run or walk away if you can". Because if you can walk away or get away, and you choose to kill someone, you are willingly engaging and legally/morally subject to prosecution. The second thing Tim teaches is main/cripple/kill. Because if you can't walk/run away, then better to make the other person(s) non-functional ASAP. I have been a student of Tim's for years, and if you make a rude comment to my wife at a bar, throw a drink in my face, or take my parking space at Walmarts, I will smile and exit and go home. But if I am cornered by 5 thugs with no retreat and am assaulted, I promise you, they will all be in the hospital or morgue within a minute. And YES, I am that good, courtesy of Tim and www.TFTgroup.com.
Larkin exploits people's fears and is making a lot of money on "what if". Reactionary people are scary. Might only makes right in undeveloped, uneducated societies where common sense and human decency no longer are the norm. Why would the UK buckle under to guys spewing this brand of conflict resolution? Do you really think the U.S. is a shining example of a system that works?
Well, neither Occupy Wall Street nor the Tea Party protests were nearly as violent as the riots in the U.K.
You're trying to put a moral spin on behavior that is non-moral in origin. Everyone desires some amount of control over the circumstances of one's own life. Self-defense is a way of maintaining control and some sense of security over ones own life not for some moral, or social, or ethical reason, but because rolling over and gleefully accepting abuse runs completely counter to the natural order. Its a perversion of though, and a betrayal of everything that is valuable in life - not just human life, but life in general.
I'm sorry social engineering has degraded your sense of self worth to such an extent that you can't see yourself as individually valuable - can't see your life as even worth protecting. Its horrific to see this type of self-hatred. But don't expect the rest of the world to embrace the emasculation you've been subjected to.
If morals do not control a person what does? Also what is non-moral?
This is not a "system" issue it is a personnel one. Safety starts at home so learn self defense.
reno teacher so you would have tea with your attacker?
Switzerland is probably the shining example. To satisfy their armed service requirement, every home must have a gun and the occupant be profecient in its use. Remember, an armed society is a polite society. Still, I would rather live in the USA.
reno teacher: "Might only makes right in undeveloped, uneducated societies where common sense and human decency no longer are the norm.
So RT, what is your solution when being attacked by a maniac who has no qualms about killing you or your loved ones...... in this imaginary developed educated society? Hate to break the news but there are scumballs, even in enlightened societies.
Reno teacher, I will laugh the day you are assaulted by a meth head criminal in a parking lot. Hopefully he will have a lead pipe to shampoo your self righteous mellon.
Are there ANY dark streets in a big city you would not walk down at night? If not, why not? Crime happens, if you get caught up as a victim, simply by being in the wrong place at the wrong time (as many tourists do), should you, or should you not, be able to defend yourself with whatever level of defense is necessary? I carry a sidearm always, I have a knife in my pocket, a knife in my vehicle, and a slingshot in my vehicle. I am not afraid of anything, but I am cautious. I currently live in a small town, and there is no dark street on which I am afraid to walk at any time, but even here, there has been the occasional rape and other crime committed. I remind others periodically that when seconds count, the police are minutes away, and the US Supreme Court has already ruled that the police do not have a legal obligation to protect you.
Oh wow. Reno teacher...
I'm sorry man. You're screwed if any kind of chaos ensues. There's a proverb that says, "Shrewd is the one that foresees a calamity, and proceeds to conceal himself from it."
Do absolutely everything you can to avoid danger, but you better be capable of defending yourself if and when danger DOES find you.
There's a difference between "conflict resolution" and mortal combat where split-seconds determine your fate. If you can stop an attacker with words, good. I hope you have enough time to talk. If you can stop an attacker without killing him, good. But if you find yourself in that terrible position, where killing is your only option for the survival of yourself and your family.... I think you can complete that sentence.
I agree that you should be allowed to defend yourself without threat of prosecution - if a hoodlum or more likely the plural, is threatening me - before I allow the situation to get out of hand - I would happily deck the f^cker and scare his friends away too. That crappy pack instinct they have here. I would love to learn these skills, and hope to never need them..
That said - The US take it WAY too far, and are now in a grey area of allowed or not allowed. todays example. The zimmerman case..
Tim Larkin? Just another guru with super deadly killing secrets and he will reveal them to you if you pay $2000 to attend his seminar. i'm not kidding you. people will learn more by taking basic wrestling or boxing classes. Seriously!
mikeels2012...
do you REALLY believe your boxing or wrestling "skills" would serve you well against a pack of animals? Or an individual with skills similar to those Larkin possesses?
Unless he's a criminal, it doesn't make sense for the UK to ban this American from entering the country. Is UK becoming communist now?
Um. Becoming?
Naa, it wont get that bad, a few years ago i had a throw down with a foul neighbor who was a drunk and had all sorts of violent history with the cops and long story short i wrecked this dude and choked him to a pretty puffy purple color before i banged him headfirst into the fender of my car. 2 hours later the cops showed up while i was taking a nap.. One of the police told me he had to go to court becuase drunky filed grieveances on him for emptying a stun gun into his arm to get him to stop spitting on the back of his head while he was taking him in for a previous domestic. The other cop said that he filed grievences for him gut checking him with a pr24 club for his yelling and spitting. I told the police he was a drunk and probably fell down. We had a nice laugh together. The only way to deal with being bullied and attacked is to hit them head on where it hurts and keep the hurt a coming till all the bluster and foul dissolves. Besides people Brits eat like 250 lbs of sugar a year and boil meat.. They dont get enough sunshine!
Sounds like you live in a great neighborhood. NOT.
Tim Larkin. the guru who possesses the deadly killing secrets and he will share them with you if you attend his seminar and pay $2000. People are better off taking basic wresting or boxing classes. Seriously!
What price is your life? $2000 is cheap.
deadly killing secret? Point gun, pull trigger. $2000.00 clams please! :)
A 41 cal Smith is about $1000.00
My most expensive gun was my match rifle - M1A for $750 20 years ago. Current personal carry is a Glock Model 22 chambered in .40 S&W, for which I paid $400. No need to get too expensive.
mike, you obviously have not confronted criminals in the street. boxing wont help you in that parking lot against me, my pipe and my homeboy coming around the back of your truck.
not in this universe.
but if you had some training from tim or anyone who teaches "practical violence", that 1 second you have to "act" and take me out, that would be the difference. ufc, boxing, wrestling - all great stuff. but they are combat sports, not combat.
Yeah, same is true for karate. I got someone really ticked off when I told her tae kwon do is a sport, not a fighting style. The problem with a lot of these martial arts (especially tae kwon do, karate, and even judo) is that they teach you to fight by the rules: no actual head contact, no hits below the belt, no hits to the throat, no hits to the back or kidneys, and no grabbing. In essence, it's nothing more than kickboxing.
As socratic pointed out, criminals in the street don't give a hoot about "rules." The simple fact that they're assaulting you should be your first clue. If you fight by the rules against someone who doesn't care about rules, you will lose every time. Unfortunately, losing a fight against a criminal can be deadly. Also, as someone else pointed out earlier, the police are under no legal or constitutional obligation to protect you, which means they can (literally) stand there and watch you get your head cracked open and just fill out a report when it's over and they're done with their donuts.
It's quite simple - if someone threatens me on the street or in my own house I have no idea what his intentions are. Is he just there for my wallet or is he a psyco killer? We cannot expect to trust the attacker that his intentions are just monetary. If I'm attacked strike hard, strike fast and get distance. It the attacker dies, not my concern.
if he wants your wallet, give it to him and call the police.
if he wants your car, give him the keys and call the police.
if he gets too close, enough to stab you (because you never, ever, see the knife) then absolutely murder him. fast.
I like to think beyond the moment. That is why I cannot agree with "and the other guy goes home" theory. Listen, an attacker whom is unconscious will not harm anyone for some while and an attacker whom is dead will not harm anyone ever again.!
Agree. I avoid fighting whenever possible. It has been decades since I had to defend myself physically.
The reality, though, is that an aggressor surrenders their right to a whole and healthy body. If I am attacked, I will respond with as much force as I can muster, (including breaking bones and, if the situation warrants, killing) just to ensure that the attacker cannot EVER mount the same attack again.
"was not conducive to the public good." Only if most of the public are crooks.
The U.K. home secretary was afraid because she is a politician (crook).
What the hell does this mean? Freedom to travel IS to the public good . This is just stoopid.
This guy is obviously a toon.
That's not at issue here.
The real issue here is that there are no guaranteed rights at all in Britain. They live at the mercy of their government in all ways.
The US is of course going down that totalitarian road, but we still at least have rights on paper.
Hmmmm.....pretty sure all of our "guaranteed" rights came from the British? Wasn't Magna Carta the start of it?
Damn! Not the England I remembered reading about in the history books! We've gone from:
"We shall fight in the.... We shall NEVER SURRENDER!!"
"The sun never sets on the British Empire"
to "This guy's a "meanie! We don't want him plying his trade or sharing his knowledge here!" ???
Sad indeed.
Winston Churchill was half-American. There hasn't been any real heroic full blown Brit leadership for many years, even before him. Prince William seems to be a real man, but his father, Charles, is a typical royal wuss. The Brits could not even fight the first world war without the Americans sending our squirrel guns over to get them started.
The home secretary thinks he's a threat so he is banned from entering the country? Sounds like a socialist state doesn't it??!?!?! He's banned because he espouses the right to self-defense which was the basis of the Magna Carta which influenced our second amendment being added to the constitution. Global socialism elevates the state above the individual, whereby government bureaucrats can just make and enforce rules. Certainly not a democracy! Oh and France has elected a socialist government. I'm simply amazed at how people allow their rights to be surrendered so the government can take care of them and keep them safe. International socialism is an CANCER on humanity!!!! If you want it to consume the US just vote Obama back into office. His intention is to so saddle us with international treaties that undermine our constitution that we won't recognize this country anymore, and he'll nominate a supreme court which will back him. Kiss all your rights goodbye!!!!
Correct on all counts.
The truth really hurts doesn't it you Liberal nut jobs. But I'm sure you feel so proud anyway.
But Britain allows in radical Islamic imams to preach hate in its mosques. {rolls eyes}
Great decision by the UK officials. Britain has every right to deny anyone entry into their country that they deem a threat. Most of the comments here revolve around the imaginary belief that the Second Amendment provides a "Golden Ticket" for any kind of gun ownership in this country. It's time that we reeled in these perceived rights and get a firm gun control agenda in place.
And how do you define "firm gun control"? No one in the U.S. may own or carry a weapon except law enforcement and the military? How did that work out for the London riots?
Aw look an idiot that believes your rights come from the government to begin with.
MSP...
Please stay in the Twin Cities.
I personally carry all the time. Why you ask? Because I have no idea when I'll encounter a dirtbag that does NOT obey the law and decides that what is mine is to be his or hers.
YOU may choose to be a victim. I'll stay prepared and not have my family mourn my loss at a funeral. The lives of my family, friends, neighbors, unprepared strangers and myself are worth MUCH more than a dirtbag.
Perceived Rights? That's funny, I just took a look at MY STATE CONSTITUTION. (Pennsylvania)
Right to Bear Arms
Section 21.
The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned.
No "Perception" issues on my part. Feel free to come and get them. BTW, I also lived in the UK for 5 years, so I have seen what has happened to that country.
MSP-Do you realize that criminals are ciminals? That what a criminal does is commit ILLEAGAL activities. Key word is ILLEAGAL. See if you made owning guns illeagal outside L.E. and millitary then the law abiding citizens give up their guns. Ciminals WONT give up their guns because they are ciminals and what do criminals do? Commit ILLEAGAL activites! How in any way would gun control stop crimminals from getting Guns!?? The second ammendment is here to protect us from much more then you think it does.
MSP flyer, it's aholes like you who are ruining this country.
F you and the Liberal horse you rode in on.
I've got firm gun control, and I practice in my back yard to make sure I maintain firm gun control. 50 shots a day should do it. I use air guns to keep it cheap and so the village idiots can't hear me. Skills translate easily. I can take an aspirin off a golf tee at 30 feet. Its good practice, and keeps the ants from getting headaches from all the Necco wafer candy I also shoot to shreds.
MSP
You are what armed thugs call a "useful idiot"
But they allow Muslim extremists to preach their hate (kill the infidels) in their country.
Political oppression starts with the government deciding who has rights that preside over others.
Gun control = hold it with both hands and empty the clip in the perps chest.
MSP some of us will not take it laying down, when will you realize the government can not take care of you. Maybe you can sue your perp, if you live. I get attacked, they go to sleep at best, an attacker laying unconcious isn't a threat anymore. By the way this guys methods don't need a gun, it can all be done bare handed/footed etc., so toss the gun ctl crap, it doesn't work, until someone is dead already. How that work for you.
waste of ammo. shoot until they drop. the magazine in my pistol holds 15 rds. If he falls at 3, I need to wait and see if he is going to try to get up, or use the remainder on his pals, since they often run in packs.
A country run by people who have an infection and are full of ous-pussys
I agree with his mantra. I apply Newton's first law to those situations. "Every body persists in its state of being at rest or of moving uniformly straight forward, except insofar as it is compelled to change its state by force impressed."
Translated, someone who has bad intentions for you is going to follow through with them and will succeed unless you respond with a greater force than that which they have brought to bear against you.
Or better placed force.
Amen.
Another country dedicated to the belief that resistance to crime is immoral. I'd rather go to prison or the gas chamber for killing a perp who tries to cripple, maim or kill my wife or kid than to spend the rest of my life hating myself for not protecting them.
