Mexican presidential front-runner Enrique Pena Nieto has become the unwitting poster boy for a website promoting adultery after he admitted cheating on his first wife.
A new Mexican billboard by ashleymadison.com, a site that helps married people arrange affairs, shows Pena Nieto with an index finger over his lips in a hushing gesture.
Next to him are the words: "Unfaithful to his family. Faithful and committed to his country."
Pena Nieto, candidate of the opposition Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), has said he fathered two children out of wedlock by different women while married to his first wife.

The billboard, mounted above a busy avenue in Mexico City, shows the 45-year-old with bright red lipstick on his collar. His campaign had no immediate comment on the advertisement.
Ricardo Castaneda, Ashley Madison's representative in Mexico, said the billboard was put in the capital this week and that others are planned for the cities of Monterrey and Guadalajara.
Castaneda told Mexican media no one would have found out about Pena Nieto's extramarital affair, if the presidential hopeful had employed Ashely Madison's services.
The masthead on the company's website reads "Life is short. Have an affair," and Castaneda said the service has acquired 300,000 users since opening for business in Mexico in November, making it Ashley Madison's fastest growing market.
Pena Nieto's looks have made him popular among women, who make up a majority of eligible voters in Mexico. He is often mobbed by screaming female followers on campaign.
Pena Nieto's first wife, who died in 2007, bore him three children. He is now married to a popular soap opera star and is favorite to win the July 1 presidential election.

It amazes me how many right-wingers will forgive the infidelities of right-wing politicians, but continue to attack others for the same things. Politicians are people, who they have sex with is nobody's business but themselves and the people with whom they're having sex.

In keko's defense, you can tell a lot about someones character by the fact that he is a cheater not once, but twice. And probably many more times. His judgment on right and wrong could be a little... skewed.
It's the guys lack of discretion in his personal life that makes him suspect. Having an affair is one thing, but being stupid enough to have two kids from infidelity is order of magnitudes more significant. That is irresponsibility of profound proportions.

THAT is when I have problems. I believe another of the right wingnuts who was part of the group trying to impeach Clinton actually had a mistress who he was paying for an apartment, etc.

People cheat for all kinds of reasons.. And in my experience, the fault is most often, in some way, shared with the person who got cheated on. Maybe not intentionally, but shared none the less.
People who are happy with their mate, don't go elsewhere. People who are selfish, and dont care about anyone, and were never faithful to start with, well you married that person. Anyone who marry's expecting to change someone, is a fool.
As for politicians.. Their personal life means nothing to me. I dont care about anything, but their policies and ideology and what they promise to do. Sometimes its messy when people break up.

VT and hs - You are correct, in my opinion! There is no excuse for cheating. Cheaters are people who are incapable of having committed relationships. Usually they are within a personality disorder group called narcissists. The excuse of "this one person isn't enough for ME, doesn't give ME enough attention, etc., etc., yada, yada, yada." Truth is the narcissist gives no attention and "feels" for no one but themselves. Very sick behavior.
Freedom - Where do you draw the line in your resoning? The end state of your logic is that it is a woman's fault, at least partially, that she was raped. I mean after all if she was in a burka and only out in public with a man it would be less likely to happen right? And if a person gets shot it is at least partially their fault. Because if they had been in a different place.... And if a kid gets beat up at the playground by a bully it is at least partially his or her fault because if they weren't such a nerd...
