He lost the war for germany with his hare brained orders. Had the german military been allowed to conduct the war, germany might have easily won the war.

Is it in our human nature to hate each other, because of our religion, race, or maybe our appearance might be a little different. It is a sad day when someone can thank Hitler for slaughtering the jews in bunchs, I do not agree with vandalizing a memorial to make a statement, disrespecting all the victims of this brutal time in our history, there has also been many many things in our history that was just as brutal or close to it. There are preety intelligent people in our world, there is also some preety stupid people here to. It only takes a couple of rablerousers to shake these angry people to arms against each other. A call for calm, and forgiveness for each other is in order.

Any religion taken to extremes is bad, everything in life needs a balance. These ultra orthodox Jews probably never allow any outside influence in their lives so of course they have outrageous beliefs because they are never challenged.

Just a note to all of you out there who think this is some sort of set up and the Haredi didn't do it:

First of all, this graffiti is actually just one in a line of vandalism attacks over the last couple of months. The previous ones were mostly aimed at defacing archaeological sites in protest against "disturbing the dead".

Secondly... the spelling. Haredi don't really use Hebrew too much. They're mostly a Yiddish based society, since they believe Hebrew is too sacred for day to day use. So, the crappy spelling of the graffiti, though circumstantial, is still a big tell.

Third and finally... representatives of various Haredi factions regularly attend Iran's holocaust denial conferences in an effort to protest "the Zionist usage of the holocaust as an excuse for forming Israel". So, really, if they're not bothered going to Israel's enemies and supporting their anti-holocaust rhetoric, why would the memorial be a problem for them?

And really, no one would bother "framing" them. These guys already do a wonderful job of blackening their own reputation on a semi-regular basis. So, really... why bother?

I'd bet anything that it was done by members of "The Religion of Peace." After all, they were Hitler's willing pawns during WWII, don't forget...

This is sad. What's worse is that fighting over your view of religion is like fighting over snow in Alaska.
