Well, you also need "police authorization" to protest in the United States. Look at what happened in Chicago at the NATO Summit in May. The needed permits to protest in Chicago. Same thing for Occupy Wall Street in NYC.

Israel does not have the same Constitution as the USA, nor do its citizens share the same rights as US citizens. Try your 'free speech' in most other countries around the world and you will necessarily find yourself afoul of the authorities. Even posting your displeasure with the government of many countries, however justified, may even bring them to your door in the middle of the night. Your right to free speech is only protected in the USA.
