The Taliban released a video Wednesday that they say shows the heads of 17 Pakistani soldiers captured in a cross-border raid from Afghanistan this week and then beheaded.
Meanwhile, a bomb in a railway station in Pakistan's southwest killed at least five people, police said.
A senior security official in Peshawar on Wednesday told the AFP the soldiers were targeted by attackers from the eastern Afghan province of Kunar in a raid that began Sunday night.
“Six troops were killed on the first day, then another seven were slaughtered the next day,” the official told AFP.
“Four were missing and now they have also been beheaded,” he said.
The Pakistani Taliban's bloody cross-border raid showed the threat still posed by the group, despite multiple army offensives. Increasingly, the militants have used sanctuaries in eastern Afghanistan to attack border areas in Pakistan's northwest.
Taliban hostage siege at lakeside Kabul hotel leaves at least 23 dead
Pakistan has criticized NATO and Afghan forces for not doing enough to stop the attacks, but it has received little sympathy. The Afghan government and its allies have long faulted Pakistan for failing to target Afghan Taliban militants and their allies who use Pakistani territory to launch attacks in Afghanistan.
The Pakistani and Afghan Taliban are allies, but the former has focused on fighting the Pakistani government, while the latter has concentrated on attacking foreign and local forces in Afghanistan.
The Pakistani Taliban said in the video that they killed 18 soldiers, but 17 heads were displayed on a bloody white sheet on the ground. Several militants whose faces were covered were standing around the heads, holding weapons they said were captured from the soldiers.
Taliban bans Pakistan polio vaccinations over drone strikes
The Associated Press, which also reported the killings, said it obtained the video by email Wednesday from Pakistani Taliban spokesman Ahsanullah Ahsan.
“God has given us a great victory, we have killed them all. Four of the heads you can see are from Frontier Corps (paramilitary force), the rest are from the army,” an unseen commentator said in the video, according to the AFP report.
At the beginning of the video, a voice identified as that of Pakistani Taliban chief Hakimullah Mehsud says the militants will continue to battle the army until Pakistan's government stops supporting the U.S. and enforces Islamic law throughout the country. It was unclear when the message was recorded.
The Pakistani military said previously that 13 troops were killed in the cross-border raid into the country's northwest Upper Dir region, and seven of them were beheaded. Four others were reported missing at the time. The military did not immediately respond to request for comment on the video.
The Pakistani Taliban and their allies have staged scores of bombings and other attacks against security forces and civilians in the country, killing thousands.
The railway station bombed Wednesday was located in Sibbi city in Baluchistan province, said police official Qasim Salachi. In addition to the five killed, 20 others were wounded, he said. The bomb went off just after a train had pulled into the station, and passengers were buying drinks and food.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Baluchistan has experienced decades of violence at the hands of separatists who demand a greater share of the province's natural resources. It is also believed to be a base of many Afghan Taliban militants.

An ongoing example of the love and caring of the islam religious culture. This hate filled culture disguised as a religion is the scourge of the earth and will be totally eliminated when all the world unites to rid itself of this foul, ignorant religious cruel and hate filled religious culture. Let's hope that will be soon! Every American and every citizen of every civilized country should begin immediately to demand of every muslim believer to stop the terrorism. It's way past time to answer these muslim scum with "an eye for an eye".
Jack,
You went straight to the point. Muslims, like other groups of people, maintain a code of silence. They never criticize their own people. There are groups of people in the USA in addition to the Muslims who could never criticize or question the leadership of their own people. Look what happened to Bill Cosby when he went against the status quo. European-Americans have a healthy attitude towards criticism, especially of their leaders. Unfortunately, Muslims have a lethal and self-destructive approach in monitoring their own communities. Keep on writing Jack.
@HONESTJ
If you, by any means, believe this stops with the Muslim population, or Islamists, then you might want to look around the rest of the world.
Darfur, Kenya, Bosnia, etc.. all recent 'CONFLICTS', of which the principles of their agitator's were not about religious differences.
More than anything, these are turf wars where control is fought over because there is simply not enough region to establish camaraderie within the governing sects of those lands.
Hatchet
It's really the story of the Third World, which is why I support an end to immigration as we know it. No amnesty, no tourist or student visas (especially to Muslims) and no green cards to people whose mission it is to end American culture as we know it. Hatchet, we're in trouble.
@HONESTJ
I would not argue the point that we are in trouble, but moreso from within.
We fought a quiet war against communism in the 1950s, and despite popular belief.. we lost.
Our own goverment has become much of what we were supposed to be fighting against.
Let me get this straight... Tally-wackers behead 17 Pakistanis soldiers and kill thousands of Pakistani civilians each year. The Pakistanis are pissed at the US for using drones to kill Tally-wackers and associated sympathizers... is that F'd up or what???
"“Six troops were killed on the first day, then another seven were slaughtered the next day,”"
Pakis imagined that they can use the Islamic terrorists to attack their "enemies".
The list of "enemies" is becoming bigger and bigger!
Now Pakis Frankenstein monsters are after their inventors, promoters and masters!
It is free for all with different label Islamic religious Nazis on full throttle!
It's really not about religion as much as it is about power and control. The foot soldier may be a zealot but the heads in control are just using the common mans religious beliefs as a means to an end. This is and has been the pattern of religious expansion and domination of societies for many centuries.
I'm glad to see the Paki's start reaping what they've sown.
So you are saying Islam needs to be wiped from the face of the Earth so they will stop killing other Muslims like the 17 Pakistani soldiers in the story. ( In all fairness some could have belonged to other religions but out of 17 it isn't likely.)
I suggest that the root of the problem isn't the religion itself ( though there are no religions that are without guilt in that respect-- including you Buddhists) The problem is some people want to control others. And in this case they want their control to be very tight indeed. Since the Muslims in this region are extremely religious, the best way establish control over them is through their religion.
Think about that. These people don't need to be wiped off the face of the Earth, they need to be guided. The Taliban are giving them guidance. Not very good guidance, but they appeal to their religious nature and point them in the direction that will promote their authority. It is the leadership that is at the root of the problem.
The only way to fix the religion problem is through education. And Afghanistan is not a well educated place. How can you disagree with that?
dropping a JDAM on the Taliban's forehead sounds like an easier proposition then convincing them that there are no virgins waiting for them on the otherside.
thank your god that there are more Islamic people in this world than christians
Pakistan clearly approves. This is their reward.
These are Islamists killing Islamists. Nothing much to do with religion there, unless you want to narrow it down to a difference in beliefs in how to follow that religion. More about radicals killing non-radicals, or moderates.
Let Pakistan keep complaining about drone strikes, and the sovereignty of their soil, and watch the USA and NATO walk away to leave them to their own stupidity.
Let them complain about collateral damage and loss of civilians, then count the bodies left behind by the Taliban and Al-Queda.
Let the US stop sending $ to Pakistan and just start sending body bags, they are going to need them.
You are going by too many theories!
You will find out that most of the theories fail when it comes to Islamic religious Nazis.
Why not study the history of Islamic cult?
Drone attacks are not enough.
Just carpet bomb Paki militant areas just as in Iraq in 1991 to reduce NATO forces losses or just withdraw right now!
Why poor soldiers should die or get injured for the idiocy of some?
not idiocy - ideology; after all - Somolia is mostly fundamentalist Islamic, but they have no oil, so why bother...
Hatchet-101 How come we are supporting these thugs in Syria , I never heard of any body in Syria getting decapitated till these thugs from Saudi and Qatar came in to Syria , An dour Hillary and McCain blaming Assad for it , That never happened there Buddy , These Alqada and Taliban's are Saudis breads , That how they do in Saudis and that's how they teach it .
We 'the US' are supporting overthrow of the regime, which has covertly sponsored certain types of terrorism, but have opposed such groups as Al-Queada. This is why A-Q is in the mix.
The USA and Pakistan pretty much invented the Taliban during the Russian conflict in Pakistan in the 70's.
The USA left the dogs to starve and they came back to bite the hand that fed them. Most notably in Pakistan till more recently.
The Saud are merely funding the rebels, while Turkey is more active in supplying arms.
Syria has often sponsored state approved terror in the past, but now it is more important to consider that Syria is a strong ally to Iran.
The change of the guard in Syria will NEARLY complete the boxing in of Iran if we can align with the Syrian government after the ouster of Assad.
The balance of the countries in the region are either allied to the US, or friendly in any case, or are in NO position to argue the courses of the world.
End all, be all, just like any good S. Holmes mystery, deduction by reason and follow the money trail.
Figure this in the larger scheme of this false dichotomy of Christian/Muslim diatribe.
Taliban is against Pakistan, fully intertwined in thier country, while Pakistan supposedly remains an ally to the USA and is fighting against terrorism and Al-Queda, while also fighting against the same Taliban they helped to create in Afghanistan. The Taliban demands that Pakistan adopt and adhere to Islamic law. Al-Queda demands Pakistan end it's western alliances. In this field of operation the Taliban and A-Q are our enemy.
In Syria, Al-Queda was opposed by the Assad regime, and the Taliban would like to see a regime change. Syria and Assad are strongly allied to Iran. In this field of operation ' the enemy of my enemy is my friend'
We circumvent the politically correct status quo of non-intervention by suggesting to our Saud business acquaintances that they might want to fund this action, or revolution, in Syria. We also rely upon Turkey, yet another friendly nation in the region, that the escalation which is desired in Syria could easily be achieved if the rag-tag rebels were better supplied and organized.
Intel plays a huge part of this, which has now been overcome with certain defections.
In the end, the USA plays both parts to the middle, watches Syria drive itself into a chaotic mess falling just short of civil war, and NATO and the USA can guide the resources and directions from afar.
After the topple of Assad, which seems near imminent, the neighboring countries and the USA can come to the rescue of the Syrian people and place forth their own support for whichever Syrian candidate follows with the "NEW" democratic government. This allows the US to also say that the Syrian people are winning their freedom and gaining their human rights.
The question will remain s to whether Ahmadinejad will pour in resources when the Assad regime is in it's last stages of existence.
This is probably when we will begin to see all the factional infighting that will likely occur between the Sunni, Shia, etc.
For the now, we can expect the allied countries to be watching for a country which has no idea what direction it wishes to go, thus making it much easier to steer.
Finally, the USA, Saud, and Turkey will flood the country with antiquated weaponry which would end up otherwise destroyed, make money on the sales, and call it an action of stabilization for Syria to regain it's ability to police itself.
Hatchet-101:
1. You are assuming that you can control the Islamic religious Nazis just like video games! Pakis assumed so. Now just see how they are biting the masters.
2. In that case, the US and NATO forces should have easily won in Iraq and Afghanistan. In Iraq, US forces ran worse than Vietnam. For withdrawing, US forces had to use big covers. In Afghanistan, how to run from there is going under the biggest planning! Why could not NATO use the "strategic" and "trusted" allies like Sunni Saudis and co, al-Qaida, MB, Pakistan, Turkey, to reduce losses and save faces?
3. When most don't care for religion much these days, followers of Islamic cult, especially Sunnis, are fast marching backwards to their seventh century desert tribal days of rapings, lootings, killings and genocides of non-Muslims.
4. Of all madness, religious madness is the worst. Here Islamic one is the worst of all beating all records of human history!
5. Biggest mistakes nations make are arrogance and not learning from past mistakes.
@ Jonathan
1. No, I can not control any zealots, though I believe we are seeing that very control in action as we type these messages. They also serve to control each other.
2. The matter of strategic withdrawal is not running. We have learned from past mistakes, and are insuring a viable infrastructure will be plausible within the two countries mentioned.
Saud were an ally, as were Pakistan and other countries in the region, however... You must keep in mind which factions are in control and at what stages. There is also the point of desirability. Understand that Sunni comprised the vast majority in the larger part of the Arab world, while Iraq and Iran remained primarily Shia. Iran is near 90% Shiite. Assad is regionally allied to Iran. Assad is a Ba'ath Party Socialist running a Sunni nation, allied to Shia? See a problem here? Then we introduce the other players.. Hezbollah, Hammas, the Arab League, the Muslim Brotherhood, and rapidly diminishing Al-Queda. It is a very tangled web.
Even the Muslim Brotherhood is criticized by Al-Queda, as well as other 'terrorist' organizations for it's desire for peaceful democratic electoral processes throughout the Arab world.
Mind you, the Ba'ath Party was also founded by numerous Christian Arabs.
Sometimes the lesser of your enemies can be friendly to your cause, and save lives where you need it most. This is not a plan that was arrived at overnight. It has been years of diligent preparation.
3. Please cite your sources for this information, as I have not found that to be the case.
4. All religion is madness
5. see 2
Hatchet 101: 3.
Can you get a bigger joke of Saudi ruler with 5000 princes and princesses and their big harems of girls and women in 21st century?
During 1991 Iraqi war, NATO forces saved the most beastly and ungrateful Kuwaiti ruler with 65 wives at one time. First thing soldiers did was to fix his golden toilets. The same ruler did not listen to a small request from the NATO forces for help in Iraq.
Hope you can see from all sides other than oil, money or some Jewish lobby interests.
I understand about enemy of enemy is friend.
From my angle, for world peace, I see Sunni Saudis and their extremist Salaffi, Wahhabi with their mosques all around the world as the biggest threat.
I fully support Shiites and if they kill as many Sunnis as they can I will cheer them!
From my angle: more the merrier and lesser problems and liabilities on earth.
Shiites are infidels like I for jihadi Sunnis.
F em all. nuke the place.
Best and after sometime only solution left!
Keep choppin'...it safe us the trouble and spares our drones so they can rain down on Assad hopefully soon. We dump tons of money into Pakistan to raise them up (and dig them out of their earthquakes) and they hid Osama bin Lama from us as thanks...
Perhaps the Pakistani military should talk to the Pakistani Security forces (ISI) about how the weapons being sent across the border to the Afghan Taliban under the ISI's version of "Fast and Furious" are finding their way back into the hands of the Pakistani Taliban and being used to kill Pakistani soldiers.
Not much sympathy for the Pakistani's at all.
They played with fire and they got burned.
Hard to play both ends against the middle with the US and the Taliban without being between a rock and a hard place.
I feel sorry for the Paki Troops and their families. I hope the Pakis start fighting the real scum...but they can't because they respect these murderers because they are "True Believers".
What a world...
Let's negotiate with the taliban and treat them like humans. That will show the world how politically correct we are.
We are negotiating with the Taliban......we do it in "rounds", and after we exchange "rounds" we check into their continuing health.
That's how we show them how much we really care :)
Yeah, let's negotiate with the rotten bastards... nuke everyone of them... then declare peace.
Well, nothing says "we're the religion of peace" like sawing the heads off of people with a steak knife.
Radicals are found in every sect of the world, and beheadings have gone on for thousands of years.
Consider all of these types of incidents, as well forced amputation which occured on the African continent in non-Muslim areas, as well as in China, where I am pretty sure the Muslims and Islamists are rather scarce.
In the Indo-China conflicts these decapitations were common, and most Japanese warriors throughout history brandished swords for that very reason. Again, not Muslim.
A matter of TRADITION you might say.
Are the Japanese and Chinese still following these traditions, or have they developed some sense of civility over the centuries? Have these fanatics evolved? Can they ever?
As for the Japanese, we took their toys away in 1945, so yes.
China still sings it's own tune, but with the advancement of technologies as well as communications and thus a more stable economy, they have in fact come out of the dark ages somewhat.
so these are the people you were protecting . if they and thier alqueada alies sent terrorest to kill people who were at peace with them in the united states of america a people that they turned opon for helping them in thier houre of need. what makes you so sure that they won't turn on you . only by not allowing them a safe harbor to work from can terrorest be kicked out of you're country and the bombing stoped . one thing remaines certain pakistani troops did not stop terrorest from crossing over into afganistan to attack targets there and from returning to safety in pakistan. pakistani troops did every thing they could to hinder american troops in what was sosposed to be a joint effort to end hostilities by findeing ben lauden all the while they knew where he was all the time . do you really think that if he had been turned over to a world court system that he would have been hunted down and killed there would have been a trial he still may have been condemmed to die but he would have been given a chance to defend himself with lawyer's that may have gotten him off wasen't it all a ploy to getpeople to help change the way other people think in other words do what the minority wanted. you know the only reason there is no peace over there is that there are too meany people who do not want peace there there is proof that everyone can work together peacefuly to benitfit everyone. if it works here in the united states of america!WHY WON'T IT WORK ELSWHERE'S in THE WORLD
I wont bother into the rhetorical questions, but..
No Bin Laden would not have been subject to trial, he would have died at Gitmo, had he surrendered. He knew far too much dirt on too many nations to chance him being taken alive.
No proof of peaceful coexistence even in the USA.
Reason;
differentiating idealisms
omg not pakistani soldiers. maybe pakistan should decide who they want as allies.
Pakistan and NATO soldiers will have to fight Taliban to their last breath. Taliban will not get any more prisoner by beheading them!!! Taliban could have use those prisoners to exchange for some guns, food and medicines.
Well maybe we should try a 500 megaton bath salt bomb and hope for favorable winds to give everyone a good dusting.
@stonepipe
What a great idea.... um... wait... oh yeah.
GENEVA CONVENTION
Damn those little details.
@ All The Change
The kill/wound/mia ratio of our last conflicts should answer that question for you.
Besides, the USA has much better than chemical or nuclear weapons if the need arises.
Weapons that have never been addressed by any committee or alternate nation.
So Hatchet...do you think that the Taliban will apologize for what they did on purpose? It seems that Pakistan wants an apology from us that happened by accident...THEIR bad coordinates.
For Pakistan, the Taliban once became the naughty child that they wished to spank, and did. They forgot the naughty child will grow up. Pakistan will neither apologize to the Taliban, nor vice versa, anymore than we would apologize to Al-Queda.
It IS HIGHLY likely that the Pakistan troops killed by the NATO / USA strike were conducting themselves in very much the wrong fashion, possibly even in a combative role. Pakistan is littered with Taliban, and even some Al-Queda in their midst. It would not be AT ALL unusual to have a military unit that is not loyal, especially in such a corrupt country.
Pakistan will get no apology. They have chosen to not turn over their own information on how and why Bin Laden was found in their country, and have imprisoned what most of the world would call a HERO.
Politically, Pakistan is bound to their course, and the US to it's. There will be no resolve save the passing of time. ( cave tempus edax rerum )
Thankfully, a few of our enemies are now cross-haired on a few of our other enemies, and we get box seats for the main show.
Even the CIA is likely thinking that this was a pot that was too long boiling over and just needed that slight prod of flame in Syria.
A united front of Sunni allies will spell very bad things for what is left of the Shia of that region.
Some makes a bit more sense now?
Also keep in mind that the Muslim Brotherhood is the largest and most universal organization of the Arab world, with both Christians and Muslims partaking.
British invented Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
US guarded them with care or did baby sitting for them!
US made Saudis rich by guarding their oils and the ruler and his 5000 princes and princesses.
Just see what is going on in "trusted" and "strategic" ally, Pakistan. If I am missing something, then great planners, think tanks, military leaders, politicians can add to the list.
These days Hillary is on full blast on Syria and Iran and low blast on Pakistan!
Wait for a few years to see the wheels turning in Saudi Arabia!
Actually, the Peace Treaty of Paris 1919 spelled out more of what happened then and now.
It is a fun read too.
Hatchet 101: Do Muslims of different brands honor any treaties?
Followers of Islamic cult have different faces, dances (including raping, killing, genocides) at different times!
They have "love" and "peace" dances too!
I would love to see us walk away from Pakistan and take all our money with us. Unfortunately, we can't leave them with nukes. If you think it looks bad now, just imagine the Taliban with nukes. They would try to bring the rest of the world back to the 6th century, where they want to be.
Walking away from Pakistan would most assuredly force the hand of India, which would be disasterous.
For who? Me and my children? The national debt? Explain.
Within Pakistan, there is simply too much civil strife, corruption, infighting, dissention, and internal chaos from many years of fighting. Between the contested regions of the mountainous range between India and Pakistan (each claiming a different border and provenance), and the influx of Taliban, the Pashtun, and what might even be considered leftover Mujahideen having significant influences and unusual loyalties in the region, and within Pakistan, the bad blood between India and Pakistan would boil to a fervor.
India, realizing that Pakistan heirarchal change would be imminent and swift, would be forced to consider a false flag action to elicit the NATO alliance into supporting a post 'skirmish' pre-emptive strike on Pakistan that would send the two into a full scale war over the mountains.
Fighting a war over a mountain range is something that anyone has any experience with would simply rather not do, and requires LARGE scale destruction.
The USA is not only allied to India through NATO alliance, but through it's need for strategic positioning with the east's largest democratic government.
This from wikipedia;
In July 2007, the United States and India reached a historic milestone in their strategic partnership by completing negotiations on the bilateral agreement for peaceful nuclear cooperation, also known as the "123 agreement." This agreement, signed by Secretary of State Rice and External Affairs Minister Mukherjee on October 10, 2008, governs civil nuclear trade between the two countries and opens the door for American and Indian firms to participate in each other's civil nuclear energy sector. The U.S. and India seek to elevate the strategic partnership further to include cooperation in counter-terrorism, defense cooperation, education, and joint democracy promotion.
There are a few KEY notes in this paragraph.
China and India are still on reasonably good terms, but with the current picture of the M.E. and ALL it's conflicts, China will have to react. China gets most of it's consumption satisfied by Iran at this time. What happens when that changes? Do you think they are aware of this?
Iran totally surrounded by allied nations with exception of Azerbaijan (content to stay on the bleachers) makes for two war wary nations very much on edge.
Pakistan is walking the VERY VERY thin line now.
Economically in bad shape, militarily disfunctional, and more reliant on US support than ever. Pakistan and China could not afford what India would be forced to do.
The Theatre of Operation must remain to the western edge of the M.E. for now. With hopes of a brighter future in the near years to come, and hopes for a largely unified Arab alliance built upon democracy and the idealisms of the Muslim Brotherhood.
How do you think India feels about this?
Please note, the M.E. has changed rapidly, and continues to do just that, and in a very positive direction because there have not been any over-reactions. We would ALL like to keep it that way.
Hatchet, I don't believe India is a member of Nato
The US is not making it any better over there, at this time the US is making it worse. I can't believe I am saying this BUT if Mitt would say he will pull the troops out if elected, I would vote for him in November.
Whether Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, or Yemen, we will not be able to just yank troops out unless there is a CLEAR infrastructure capable of maintaining it's own defense, while reasonably progressing the democratic forms of governance that have been chosen for those arenas.
Anything less would come back to haunt us, just as Afghanistan had.
For those who wonder why I mention Yemen....
By the way. The Daily Star (Lebanese Newspaper)
Yemen admits U.S. drones used against Al-Qaeda June 28, 2012 12:47 AM
DUBAI: Yemen has asked for U.S. drones to be used “in some cases” to target Al-Qaeda leaders in the country, its foreign minister told AFP Wednesday.
“Drones were used upon Yemen’s request in some cases against fleeing Al-Qaeda leaders,” Abu Bakr al-Qirbi told AFP on the sidelines of a counter-piracy conference in Dubai, in a first official Yemeni confirmation.
Yemeni troops have this month recaptured a string of towns which Al-Qaeda militants overran last year across Abyan province.

Be careful what you wish for, in a moment of temporary insanity I helped Jesse "The Body" become a Governor......or not so temporary according to some. Did too. Did not. You are always bringing up the past. Oh, like it never happened. If you say so. If you say so, then it must be true. Would you two be quiet?
Good morning Hatchet.
sorry for the double paste
GM stonepipe... yes it seems we have daylight LOL
Been up all night or like me, insomnia? No daylight in the central plains yet the birds are quiet for another half hour forty five min. Have a great day.

EXCERPT
Under legislation signed by President Barack Obama on December, the United States will take action against countries that continue buying large volumes of Iranian oil through Iran's Central Bank by cutting off financial institutions engaged in those transactions from the U.S. banking system.
The legislation was signed with the goal of strangling the biggest source of revenue for the Iranian government as a way to get Tehran to halt work on segments of its nuclear program that many Western countries fear is being used to produce a bomb. Iran contends its nuclear program is purely for peaceful purposes.
***************
"Iran is estimated to have lost approximately $10 billion in oil revenue, the Iranian currency has plummeted, and oil output has fallen to a 20-year low - and that is all before the U.S. and EU sanctions go into effect," Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, said earlier this month in a statement. He is one of the authors of the legislation Obama signed.
India, Japan and Turkey, major purchasers of Iranian oil, have already been granted waivers from U.S. sanctions because of their significant reduction in Iranian oil purchases. Another major importer, South Korea, announced earlier this week that it would completely halt its purchase.

there is more info in the link which spells out more of what is going on in these theatres
What concession is China going to make in exchange for a waiver? $$$$$$$$$
I've seen a beheading video when rogish.com(sp) was still up. Pretty creepy video.
I am sure truthtube will have the grizzly details if anyone really needs to see.
I don't
I have a book called "The War in Algeria" it is written by a French trooper. Beheading's mutilations and all the same fanatical religious fun stuff we are reading about today. The more things change.....
Ages old tradition.
Once even got to watch a guy do a shrunken head.
It was a young macaque.
He illustrated how the back of the head was split and the skull slowly cut out from under the flesh with a curved knife, carefully spreading away the tissues.
The orbitals of the eyes and the nasal canal were the trickiest.
Then the hull was dried for a few hours, then every once in a while urine was poured over.
The head would begin to leather up and he would sew human hair into the scalp, stuff the head with a white powder coated mash of herbs, being careful to backfill the oculars and nasal.
Then the head was returned to the rack for further drying, while lesser amounts of urine were poured over as time lapsed.
Once shrunk evenly, they stop dousing and sometimes paint or decorate.
Actually looks as though it could be a human head when finished, but likely sold to tourists as such.
GRUESOME !!
But honoring an ages old practice of ritual beheading.
I guess it was necessary to make a video in case anyone was thinking that the 17 Pakistani troops' heads had fallen off by natural causes.
Or they think they are casting the next 20/20 special and will get 'HOLLYWOOD' famous in last 3 days of their lives.
Why shouldn't these goat rutting murderers be eradicated like the plague?
I can't believe that after 4 attacks from Syrian forces into neighboring countries MSNBC is not covering the Turkish troop and weapons build up at the border.
The largest Arab army in the world is mobilizing and NBC is sleeping.
Turks are not Arabs my Friend. They are offend are the very notion
@Celtic 1 -- Thank you for offering that correction. Some people should speak less and read more.
Yes.. the reference was meant to mean Middle Eastern, but that is what happens when I am awake till 7:30 in the morn.
Not eveyone in the middle east is arabic
There are Bedoins, Jews, Armenians, Drouze, and on and on...

Question, are these the people this current administration is in negotiations with? WOW. The PC crowd just cannot understand the primitive nature of Afghanistan, I have friends who have been there and tell me its like going back 150 years in time. They are brutal, uneducated ,barbarians. Period. It amazing me that Liberals get bent out of shape when some Marines pee on some dead combatants (I am not condoning) and go on rants about Christians who utter some harsh words about gay people. Gee, wonder what Islam does to gays- would not be pretty. Let's get the hell out of that God forsaken country.
Well, the Pakis are getting a little sample of how reliable their muslime buddies are! Really showing the good ole muslime appreciation for help and support - just like they showed the free world their appreciation when the West went into Kosovo and stopped the killing of muslimes there. Appreciation, trust, honesty - foreign concepts to the muslims. Appropriate religion for feral animals.
