Iran has doubled the number of uranium enrichment machines it has in an underground bunker, a U.N. report said Thursday, showing Tehran has continued to defy Western pressure to stop its atomic work and the threat of Israeli attack.
The U.N. International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said in its quarterly report on Iran that the number of centrifuges at its Fordow site -- buried deep underground to withstand any such hit -- had more than doubled to 2,140 from 1,064 in May. The new machines were not yet operating, it said.
“… as Iran is not providing the necessary cooperation… the Agency is unable to provide credible assurance about the absence of undeclared nuclear material and activities in Iran, and therefore to conclude that all nuclear material in Iran is in peaceful activities,” the report said.
“… the Agency considers it essential for Iran to engage with the Agency without further delay on the substance of the Agency’s concerns,” it added. “In the absence of such engagement, the Agency will not be able to resolve concerns about issues regarding the Iranian nuclear program, including those which need to be clarified to exclude the existence of possible military dimensions to Iran’s nuclear program.”
Arizona Senator and former GOP presidential candidate, John McCain, joins Morning Joe to discuss his Wednesday speech at the RNC, what's happening in Iran and Israel and if military action should be taken in Iran and how Romney can be impactful during his Thursday RNC speech.
Iran's supreme leader repeated this week that Iran's nuclear program was entirely peaceful.
"Our motto is nuclear energy for all and nuclear weapons for none," Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told a developing nations summit in Tehran.
S. African telecom firm helped Iran evade US sanctions, documents show
But the expansion in enrichment infrastructure and the increasing in stockpiles of potent nuclear material revealed in the report will do nothing to allay fears or reduce the diplomatic sanctions and pressure on Iran.
The report showed that Iran had produced nearly 190 kg (418 pounds) of higher-grade enriched uranium since 2010, up from 145 kg (320 pounds) in May.
Iran says it needs this material, which is much purer than fuel needed for electricity generation, for a medical research reactor, but it also takes it significantly closer to making potential bomb material.
UN chief denounces Iran to its face over calls to destroy Israel
The IAEA also expressed concerns about Parchin, a military site south of the capital that it wants to inspect for evidence of past nuclear weapons development.
"Significant ground scraping and landscaping have been undertaken over an extensive area at and around the location," it said.
Five buildings had been demolished and power lines, fences and paved roads removed, the report said, "extensive activities" that would hamper its investigation if granted access.
"The activities observed... further strengthen the Agency's assessment that it is necessary to have access to the location at Parchin without further delay," the IAEA said.
John Batchelor, The John Batchelor Show host, weighs in on the reports Israel could possibly attack Iran before the November elections.
Iran says Parchin is a conventional military facility and has dismissed the allegations about it as "ridiculous."
Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, meeting U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in Tehran on Thursday, was quoted by Iranian state TV as saying: "The West has put sanctions on Iran for years, however the Iranian nation continues to resist and make progress."
A Western diplomat said the doubling of enrichment capacity at Fordow was a "worrying trend," showing that Tehran continued to expand its program.

Add yet another failure to the Obama legacy. While Obama plays Neville Chamberlain, the storm gathers.
Obama isn't concerned about anything other than his re-election, so he can truly finish off the USA.
I pray Americans aren't dumb enough to make the same mistake twice with this empty suit known as Barak Hussein Obama.
yawn. Yet another failed obama hater posting the same thing over and over and over. "finish the USA".."hussein"? lol.
Isreal can handle this threat if it is truly a threat. If they don't, that would be their failure. Obama sold them the weapons to handle it (weapons that bush refused to, by the way). lol.
I see that there are still plenty of Obama toadies willingly stuffing their heads in the sand.
Obama has failed.
Repeatedly.
“The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from $5 trillion for the first 42 presidents – #43 added $4 trillion by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic.”.
-Barak Hussein Obama
“today I’m pledging to cut the deficit we inherited in half by the end of my first term in office. This will not be easy. It will require us to make difficult decisions and face challenges we’ve long neglected. But I refuse to leave our children with a debt that they cannot repay — and that means taking responsibility right now, in this administration, for getting our spending under control.”
-Barak Hussein Obama
Failed POTUS
steven: we're talking iran, not the deficit. are you so stupid, or so desperate, you can't keep on topic? lol.
PS - people using "hussein" might as well hang a sign around their neck saying "I still think its clever to try and portray obama as a muslim, please laugh at my desperation". lol.

OBAMA 2012!
This is just a rehash of an earlier article a week ago, where Iran added 1000 new centrifuges. So what! All of Iran's enrichment is monitored by the IAEA. As long as they do not enrich beyond 20%, theycannot make a nuclear weapon.
Iran has lived up to it's end of the bargain, where they signed the NPT, giving them the right to enrich uranium for a peaceful nuclear energy program and for medical isotopes. You cannot bomb a country just because you "think" they "might" one day be able to produce a nuclear weapon and that they will then use the weapon on you. Iran has not started a war with another country in almost 200 years. Quite a record.
If the f--ing Israelis don't like it, let them do something about it and leave the USA out of the equasion. If they start a war, they must be willing to accept all the consequences. Maybe Iran will get lucky, when they respond to an attack from Israel and drop a missile right down a smokestack at Dimona.
Good post Ralph; I read these stories everyday that they're posted. There is rare mention of the NPT in this echo chamber we have for news these days.
K., who is threatening who here?
Who is calling who "cancer that must be removed"?
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad branded Israel a cancer cell that must
be removed Sunday, after Israeli gunfire killed 12 people and wounded hundreds
as Palestinians marched in a mass show of mourning.
..."Like a cancer cell that spreads through the body, this
regime infects any region. It must be removed from the body," he added.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The reason behind the timing of a possible attack on Iran is one big act of deception.
Defense Minister Ehud Barak says that if Israel were to act now against U.S. wishes, the U.S. Congress would still favor Israel over Iran. Michael Oren, Israel's ambassador to Washington who was appointed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, says the American people and Congress would support Israel right now if it were engaged in a war with Iran.
The threat towards Israel seems to be directed towards the extremism of their right-wing government and not necessarily the whole population. I would call the over-funded war hawks of both the US and Israel cancer of our society. If only we had leadership that was strong enough to tell them and the rest of us the truth.
First off all, what you call "marched in a mass show of morning" was in fact a lynching mob storming Jerusalem in an attempt to kill some Jews.
Second, the threats against Israel are in fact directed at all of Israel, they have never changed as Israel government changed, and in the past all too often threats against Israel turned into real attacks, so Irael has learned to take threat seriously.
Semantics aside; there hasn't been much happening lately, or in the last ten years, that lets me believe our leaders aren't full of shi#.
Actually, it's not our leaders but it's the leaders of Iran, Syria, Lebanon (including Hezbollah), Gaza, The Palestinian Authority, The Arab League, North Korea, China and Russia who are "full of it"!
Don't worry everybody, if elected Romney will take care of Iran and Russia!
Vote Romney/Ryan 2012 for World War III in 2013!
Who finally got Osama? After eight long years of failure? The Republicans want to invade every where but do not want to pay or fight? Hey John Mc Cain, where is the cash for the last two wars? Spend spend spend and never pay that's the Republican way. I am sorry, but we have nukes to guarantee our security, you want another war, you want to police the world then come up with some cash for a change and draft those rich folks kids to fight it. Quit raiding my social security and medicare to pay for your adventurism. Grow a back bone and tax your wealthy handlers. I am sick and tired of hearing about the Jewish problem, the Arab problem, the oil problem when none of those complaining want to do it our way yet we are suppose to jump for their way. Sorry guys let them do it their way until it kills them all then we can go in a pickup the pieces. Or we could find it more economical to just Nuke them out of existence. My understanding is they all have a place with god. So sending them there should not be an issue of conscience.
Thanks for listening to my rant. Neville Chamberlain did not have the world most powerful military with global reach and a window for total destruction within a few minutes. The world has changed oops I forgot your a republican, it ain't science it is magic and god's will. You want to fund a private army and navy for adventurism I am certain the country would support your desire to send your children and friends into harms way for your values.
Iran, has nukes, big deal three four missiles and minutes Iran can be lost to history forever. Oh they will attack Israel, and we will guarantee Iran's total destruction including all the innocent victims. So nothing has changed since WWII except it only takes minutes to do what took four years to do to Germany and Japan. I can understand Iran has not embraced the light but they will see the light after the first nukes strike and nothing else forever.
I wish to add that insanity is what nukes cure. Once you see and understand their power and destruction only the insane can ponder using them, like us. Sorry the world is so immature but being there sugar police will not fix their problems. It is like bailing your drug addicted children out of jail it only postpones the cure.
Having had my rant when you pauper hawks come up with the cash and kids maybe then I can support your war. I and my children will never fight for freedom of religion only freedom from religion, which is really the only solution.
tyler blows banned, re-reg of multiple accounter leroy2112.
I don't know why this is a problem.
All someone has to do is find out where the entrance and exits are in these caves and just close them.
A few missals may do it. When they begin to open them, close them again.
Is this to simple?
Is it to simple to commit an act of aggression and start a regional war and possible world war without thinking about the global political, economic, and environmental fallout?
Is it to simple not to think that a country with over 13,000 medium and long range missile won't wipe out our 2 carrier fleets and CLOSES the Straight of Hormuz thus quadrupling the price of oil (this ain't Iraq stupid)?
Is it to simple to think that AFTER such a stupid military adventure occurs that Pakistan, Russia, or China doesn't GIVE THEM a nuke?
Is it to simple to think that the Samson Option is initiated after Israel gets hit hard with chemical and/or nuclear weapons?
Could it be that you are to simple to think about the catastrophic consequences on the global scale because someone like you thinks TOO little about simple things?
I can't help but wonder if the people of Iran even know what is going on under their noses or that they are at risk of being bombed into next year . They should overthrow that POS of a government/religious leader .
Like they tried to do in 2009?
OBAMA 2012!
Where the F has Obama been for the last few years? Maybe he used the US Treasury to buy himself an island in the South Pacific. My God, he has used our money for everything else except the economy.
The Iranian government is taking a calculated step here. If they manage to make a bomb, they gain some additional negotiating power, and provide a deterrent against US involvement if there is an uprising in the future (like in 2009 but worse).
In we or Israel bomb them, it galvanizes the population in favor of a regime that is generally unpopular.
Really, it is a smart strategic move. And our best response is to not become involved. Nuclear weapons tend to provide stability to a country rather than instability. MAD principles still apply, and Israel will be fine.
The vast majority of Obama contributions have been smaller donations. Romney has been out-fundraising Obama and he has approximately 1/20th the number of doners.

Double post
You clowns do know that accelerating a uranium program is not the same as accelerating a nuclear weapons program, don't you? There is quite a difference, although it seems the Zionist controlled news media seems to word it so the two can be confused.
This has has been a headline for more than a week. It is time to get beyond this excersise in propaganda.
Iran can have nuclear power. A country has the right to explore other sources of power. There is no conclusive evidence that there is a weapon. Americans please remember Iraq and what a cluster f**l that was. Do not be so eager to start another war in the Middle East.
Israel should learn to keep their mouth shut and give the West Bank to the Palestinians and stop all their bull$*it.
Maybe they learned not to keep their mouths shut after WWII.
Apparently Texas you are uniformed and uneducated. The UN Partition Plan divided the territory for both Palestinians and Israelis. In fact, the original plan back in 1947 that created the state of Israel allowed for MORE LAND for Palestinians than it did for Israel. In 1948, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Lebannon decided to invade Israel to take the small piece of land away from them. Of course we know those countries were soundly defeated and as a result, Israel gained 50% more territory. It wasn't Israel that started that war, but it was Israel that ended that war.
As if it wasn't enough, in 1967 Syria and Egypt decided to attack Israel again. Israeli intelligence intercepted the communiques and lauched a pre-emptive counter strike, nearly destroying the entire Egyptian Air Force. In that 6 day war, little Israel captured the Golan Heights and the Sinai and didn't press any further, though they could have and would have taken even more territory. The conclusion of the 6 day war saw Egypt finally acknowledge the right of Israel to exist, and as such, Israel returned the land it captured in the Sinai back to Egypt, with a treaty that stated only a specific number of troops be stationed in that area by both sides as to maintain a defensive posture. There was NO SUCH acknowledgement from Syria and the Golan Heights are now rightfully so the property of Israel.
Iran has for years been threatening to wipe Israel off the map. With the Israeli's NOT instigating it. When you have a neighbor that threatens your demise and is now pursuing nuclear ambitions, Israel is understandably preparing for war. If you disagree with their stance, consider JFK's stance concerning Nuclear Weapons in Cuba, or have you forgotten the Cuban Missile Crisis. I certainly recall from history our Naval Blockade of Cuba, and certainly the upgrading of our DEFCON status.
And for your information, the Israelis have given land to the Palestinians, but it is the Palestinians and NOT the Israelis that regularly lauch missiles toward Tel Aviv, which in return, elicits the response on those poor poor Palestinians who can't seem to keep the stick out of the hornets nest...
In regards to Iran, I do agree with you. Israel needs to stop talking. Maybe they just need to act, because our POS POTUS has FAILED in his SANCTIONS being the cure for radical extremist policies to threaten the existance of an entire populace... Might help to educate yourself a bit before you spew.
OBAMA 2012!
Imagine a world where the Muslim faith was the majority and Christians were perceived as evil. Would a Christian country have the right to develop its own nuclear weapons?
I don't think that Iran will ever drop the bomb because the ruling party would be ended. Over 50% of Iran is under 18 years old. They know the death toll of the Iraq/Iran war and would be unwilling to sacrifice their lives for such a stupid act like dropping a nuclear bomb.
Note the word for the bomb is false, Nuclear means New Clear. It fails to really clear any country of its people and only opens the justifiable door to use drones to kill the ruling Iran regime.
K. Hanson - Here is the full quote by Ahmadinejad.
So what did Ahmadinejad actually say? To
quote his exact words in Farsi:
"Imam ghoft een rezhim-e ishghalgar-e
qods bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad."
That passage will mean nothing to most
people, but one word might ring a
bell: rezhim-e. It is the word "regime." pronounced just like
the English
word with an extra "eh" sound at the end. Ahmadinejad did not
refer to
Israel the country or Israel the land mass, but the Israeli regime. This
is a vastly significant distinction, as one cannot wipe a regime off the
map. Ahmadinejad does not even refer to Israel by name, he instead uses the
specific phrase "rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods" (regime occupying
Jerusalem).
So this raises the question.. what exactly
did he want "wiped from the map"?
The answer is: nothing. That's because the word "map" was never
used. The Persian word for map, "nagsheh" is not contained anywhere in
his original Farsi quote, or, for that matter, anywhere in his entire
speech. Nor was the western phrase "wipe out" ever said. Yet we are
led to believe that Iran's president threatened to "wipe Israel off the
map, despite never having uttered the words "map," "wipe out" or
even "Israel."
The Proof:
The full quote translated directly to English:
"The Imam said this regime
occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time."
It is splitting hairs but it was a huge
misquote by Israel.
It is plain the Zionists are lieing in order to promote a reason for an attack on Iran, which they fervantly hope will be done by the USA. We cannot afford to pay for more wars for Israel. The Iraq war is the major reason for our deficits. It is projected to cost more than 3.5 trillion dollars. A few words, no matter what was said is not a good enough reason to attack another country.
Watcher,
Israel is a state made up by the United Nations. Look it up. Israel is occupying Palestinian land. Israel needs to learn to cooperate with its neighbors are they will suffer the consequences.
Wrong.
Right.
Left.
Texas - here is the history on the land known as Palestine,
since you and many others DO NOT know their world history.
The region was among the earliest in the world to see human habitation, agricultural communities and civilization. During the Bronze Age, independent Canaanite city-states were established, and
were influenced by the surrounding civilizations of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia (corresponding to modern-day Iraq and to a lesser extent northeastern Syria, southeastern Turkey and smaller parts of southwestern Iran.), Phoenicia ( corresponding to territory in Cyprus, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria) Minoan Crete, and Syria. During 1550–1400 BCE, the Canaanite cities became vassals to the
Egyptian New Kingdom (also referred to as the Egyptian Empire ) who held power until the 1178 BCE Battle of Djahy (Canaan) during the wider Bronze Age collapse. The Philistines arrived and mingled with the local population, and according to Biblical tradition, the United Kingdom of Israel was established in 1020 BCE and split within a century to form the northern Kingdom of Israel, and the southern Kingdom of Judah (modern day Jordan). The region became part of the Neo-Assyrian Empire from c. 740 BCE, which was itself replaced by the Neo-Babylonian Empire in c. 627 BCE. A war
with Egypt culminated in 586 BCE when Jerusalem was destroyed by the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II and the local leaders were deported to Babylonia, only to be allowed to return under the Achaemenid Empire.
In the 330s BCE, Alexander the Great conquered Palestine, and the region changed hands numerous times during the wars of the Diadochi, ultimately joining the Seleucid Empire between 219–200 BCE. In 116 BCE, a Seleucid civil war resulted in the independence of certain regions including
the minor Hasmonean principality in the Judean Mountains. From 110 BCE, the Hasmoneans extended their authority over much of Palestine, creating a Judean–Samaritan–Idumaean–Ituraean–Galilean
alliance. The Judean control over the wider region resulted in it also becoming known as Judaea, a term that had previously only referred to the smaller region of the Judean Mountains. During 73–63 BCE, the Roman Republic extended its influence into the region in the Third Mithridatic War, conquering Judea in 63 BCE, and splitting the former Hasmonean Kingdom into five districts. In 70 CE, Titus sacked Jerusalem, resulting in the dispersal of the city's Jews and Christians to Yavne and Pella. In 132 CE, Hadrian joined the province of Iudaea with Galilee to form the new province of Syria Palaestina, and Jerusalem was renamed "Aelia Capitolina". During 259–272, the region fell under the rule of Odaenathus as King of the Palmyrene Empire. Following the victory of Christian emperor Constantine in the Civil Wars of the Tetrarchy (306–324), the Christianization of the Roman Empire began, and in 326, Constantine's mother visited Jerusalem and began the construction of churches and shrines. Palestine became a center of Christianity, attracting numerous monks and religious scholars. The Samaritan Revolts during this period caused their near extinction.
Palestine joined the Islamic Empire following the 636 CE Battle of Yarmouk during the Muslim conquest of Syria. In 661 CE, with the assassination of Ali, Muawiyah I became the uncontested Caliph of the Islamic World after being crowned in Jerusalem. In 691, the Dome of the Rock became the world's first great work of Islamic architecture. The Umayyad were replaced by the Abbasids in 750. From 878 Palestine was ruled from Egypt by semi-autonomous rulers for almost a century, beginning with Ahmad ibn Tulun, and ending with the Ikhshidid rulers who were both buried in Jerusalem. The Fatimids conquered the region in 969. In 1073 Palestine was captured by the Great Seljuq Empire, only to be recaptured by the Fatimids in 1098, who then lost the region to the Crusaders in 1099. Their control of Jerusalem and most of Palestine lasted almost a century until defeat by Saladin's forces in 1187, after which most of Palestine was controlled by the Ayyubids. A rump Crusader state in the northern coastal cities survived for another century, but, despite seven further Crusades, the
Crusaders were no longer a significant power in the region. The Mamluk Sultanate was indirectly created in Egypt as a result of the Seventh Crusade. The Mongol Empire reached Palestine for
the first time in 1260, beginning with the Mongol raids into Palestine under Nestorian Christian general Kitbuqa and reaching an apex at the pivotal Battle of Ain Jalut. In 1486, hostilities broke out between the Mamluks and the Ottoman Turks in a battle for control over western Asia and the Ottomans captured Palestine in 1516.
In 1832 Palestine was conquered by Muhammad Ali's Egypt, but in 1840 Britain intervened and returned control of the Levant to the Ottomans in return for further capitulations. The end of the 19th
century saw the beginning of Zionist (Zionism supports Jews upholding their Jewish identity and opposes the assimilation of Jews into other societies as a means for Jews to be liberated from anti-Semitic discrimination, exclusion, and persecution that has occurred in other societies) immigration and the Revival of the Hebrew language. Jewish immigration throughout the century created
relatively large Jewish concentrations in Jerusalem, Safed, Tiberias and Jaffa. The British government issued the pro-Zionist Balfour Declaration of 1917 during World War I. The British captured Jerusalem
a month later, and were formally awarded a mandate in 1922. The Arab Palestinians revolted in 1920, 1929 and 1936. In 1947, following World War II and the Holocaust, the British Government announced their desire to terminate the Mandate, and the United Nations General Assembly voted to partition the
territory. The Arabs rejected the UN partition plan, and a civil war began immediately, with the State of Israel was declared in 1948. The 700,000 Palestinians who fled or were driven from their homes were unable to return following the Lausanne Conference, 1949. In the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, Israel captured and incorporated more Mandate territory, Jordan captured the region today known as the West Bank and the Gaza Strip was captured by Egypt. In the course of the Six Day War in June 1967, Israel captured the rest of Mandate Palestine from Jordan and Egypt (taking West Bank (including East Jerusalem) from Jordan and the Gaza Strip from Egypt.) Following military threats by Egypt
and Syria, including Egyptian president Nasser's demand of the UN to remove its peace-keeping troops
from the Egyptian-Israeli border, in June 1967 Israeli forces went to action against Egypt, Syria and Jordan. As a result of that war, the Israel Defense Forces conquered the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, the Golan Heights, and the Sinai Peninsula bringing them under military rule. Israel also pushed Arab forces back from East Jerusalem, which Jews had not been permitted to visit during the prior Jordanian rule. East Jerusalem was allegedly annexed by Israel as part of its capital, though this action has not been recognized internationally. In the course of 1973 Yom Kippur War, military forces of Egypt
crossed the Suez canal and Syria to regain the Golan heights. The attacking
military forces of Syria
were pushed back. After a cease fire, Egyptian President Anwar Sadat started
peace talks with the U.S.
and Israel.
Israel returned the Sinai
Peninsula to Egypt as part
of the 1978 Camp David Peace Accords between Egypt
and Israel
in hopes of establishing a genuine peace. From 1987 to 1993, the First Palestinian
Intifada against Israel took place, ending with the 1993 Oslo Peace Accords (the
"Oslo Accords"), which gave the Palestinian Arabs limited self-rule
in some parts of the Disputed Territories through the Palestinian Authority,
and other detailed negotiations, proposals for a Palestinian state gained
momentum. They were soon followed in 1994 by the Israel-Jordan Treaty of Peace
(The treaty normalized relations between the two countries and resolved
territorial disputes. The treaty was closely linked with the efforts to create
peace between Israel
and the Palestinian Authority. making Jordan
only the second Arab country, after Egypt,
to normalize relations with Israel...
In 2000, the Second or Al-Aqsa Intifada began, and Israel built a barrier. In 2002,
the Road map for peace calling for the resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian
conflict was proposed by a "quartet": the United
States, European
Union, Russia,
and United Nations. U.S. President George W. Bush in a speech on June 24, 2002
called for an independent Palestinian state living side by side with Israel in
peace. Bush was the first U.S. President to explicitly call for such a
Palestinian state. (This is the same
BUSH people blame for everything.)
Following Israel's unilateral disengagement plan of 2004,
it withdrew all settlers and most of the military presence from the Gaza strip, but
maintained control of the air space and coast. Israel
also dismantled four settlements in northern West Bank
in September 2005. Following Israel's
withdrawal, Palestinian militia groups fired Qassam rockets into Israel and smuggled weapons and ammunition into Gaza from Egypt.
After the kidnap of Israeli soldiers in June 2006, Israel launched a military
operation and reentered some parts of the Gaza Strip. Amidst severe criticism,
they built the Israeli West Bank barrier.
So Texas, as you can see, this land has been in
dispute for thousands of years and was IN FACT the ancestral home of the Jews in 1020 BCE.
Uh Yeah you forgot to add that the Palestinians are not from the middle east. They showed up on the shore after the fact. Also they have no claim to any land as it was already occupied. This is simple fact. Also the land they now live on was given to them by Egypt as a buffer to Israel as they shut them in and created the mess it is today. Just to add a little.
Wow, you two should be writing fairy tales. The Israeli left the ME to the Arabs thousands of years ago. They don't just return and get to say this is mine, and displace the people who have been living there. They shouldn't be able to say Jews get 1/2 of your land and you get to keep the other half, as long as you recognize Jews as the legal owners of what Arabs owned. "Such a deal." Its theft, plain and simple.
From where do you think the Palestinians originate, Mine? We know the Jews came from Easterrn European countries.
"Jewish villages were built in the place of Arab villages. You do not
even know the names of these Arab villages, and I do not blame you because
geography books no longer exist. Not only do the books not exist, the Arab
villages are not there either. Nahlal arose in the place of Mahlul; Kibbutz
Gvat in the place of Jibta; Kibbutz Sarid in the place of Huneifis; and Kefar
Yehushua in the place of Tal al-Shuman. There is not a single place built in
this country that did not have a former Arab population."
Moshe Dayan, address to the Technion, Haifa, reported in
Haaretz, April 4, 1969.
Again Ralph your ignorance is staggering... Genetics, that is the biological blueprint of each and every thing in the world shows how truly misguided you are. Specifically, the genetics of Arabs and Jews have been pretty extensively researched. The classic study dates to 2000, from a team lead by Michael Hammer of University of Arizona. They looked at Y-chromosome haplotypes - this is the genetic material passed from father to son down the generations.
What they revealed was that Arabs and Jews are essentially a single population, and that Palestinians are slap bang in the middle of the different Jewish populations. Another team, lead by Almut Nebel at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, took a closer look in 2001. They found that Jewish lineages essentially bracket Muslim Kurds, but they were also very closely related to Palestinians. In fact, what their analysis suggested was that Palestinians were identical to Jews, but with a small mix of Arab genes - what you would expect if they were originally from the same stock, but that Palestinians had mixed a little with Arab immigrants. They conclude:
We propose that the Y chromosomes in Palestinian Arabs and Bedouin represent, to a large extent, early lineages derived from the Neolithic inhabitants of the area and additional lineages from more-recent population movements. The early lineages are part of the common chromosome pool shared with
Jews (Nebel et al. 2000). According to our working model, the more-recent migrations were mostly from the Arabian Peninsula...
So, as far as male lineage goes, the genetic story is very clear. Palestinians and Jews are
virtually indistinguishable, and impossible if the Jews originated from eastern Europe. Another RalphH epic Fail...
Will - The Arabs/Palestinians, have been slap bang in the middle of the same area, now claimed by Israel, since the dawn of mankind in that region. During the same period, thousands of years ago, the Jews left on their own free will and forfeited their claim to the land.
I am positive that if genetic testing were done on every Jew in Israel, there would be many, if not most, that would be found to have no link to the ME. I haven't seen too many red haired Arabs, have you?
But having said that, it doesn't matter, they left the land and relinquished their rights. You don't get to change your mind a thousand years later. Those that left are dead. Their children and grandchildren are dead. There is nothing that links most Jews of today, with any specific piece of land in the entire ME, never mind what is now called Israel. I say most, because some Jews did remain and therefore do have a claim to the land on which they lived, just as much as the Arabs we now call Palestinians.
Your post is calling the post of mine718, a lie.
And just one last point here Ralph, the good news is Jews and Palestinian Arabs are blood brothers - although this close genetic relationship probably stems from pre-Judaic times, rather than any more recent conversion of Palestinian Jews to Islam.
And the bad news? Well, this basic knowledge of the genetics between Jews, Palestinians, and Arabs has been known for the best part of a decade now. But, perhaps unsurprisingly, it hasn't lead to the warring sides laying down their weapons and engaging in a group hug. This is a religious conflict, not a genetic
one. And when you have religeous zealots and extremists (like the Iranians, terrorist groups, and the fanatical covert or die muslim types) even a brother needs to take up arms against his brother, especially when it is a question of his survival...
Here is a good article by Martin Creveld.

Aw, C'mon Man...give the Iranians some credit...they've doubled the number of centrifuges while under intense pressure from the international community to shut down the project. That can't be easy, can it? The Iranians have held up under the threat of military action against them and yet they've continued to build up their own military capabilities. You have to give it to them, they don't scare easily. You don't have to love them, but you have give them credit for hanging tough in the face of overwhelming odds.

Nothing should be done till Iran makes and or test the first bomb. Now we all can see that they were lying.
Now someone can send them 2 will placed nukes and remove the leader ship, Put boots on the ground and enter the cave and blow them from with in. Problem solved with the least cost
Theory has it that the world ends this December. So is it because Iran is going to use nuclear weapons? Would that make Ahmadinejad the antichrist? He is pretty anti.
I think BiBi is crazier. He's talking war and Americans are sick of war. Let Israel fight on its own. Sure they will have the advantage in the short run but any unprovoked attack will without a doubt spell their demise. They only have 2 friends in the world - England and the USA and their about to lose both if they keep on playing this danger game.
Who cares? Let Russia and China deal with it. I could absolutely careless if Iran develops nuclear weapons.
Russia and China are supporting it because they need their oil. Also the sanctions we have in place do not include Russia, China, and India their three largest clients
Ya Jim-Oregon and according to the Jews Jesus was suppose to come back in the year 2000 or they will all become Christians , I wonder why they changed their mind . for some body trying to hide some thing , why did Iran allow the Moran , the Head of the UN Ban ki ass moon to inspects their Nukes facilities ??? it does not matter if Iran bends over and we checked their assssss , we are not going to believe them , because that will solve the problems and show that Israel just blowing smoke up our assss , like they always do , just ;like they did in Iraq , Libya , Lebanon and Syria , now they are worried about Syria's chemical weapons , and wants the US to go and secure them , and off course the NATO dogs are barking too , Hell if Syria wanted to use their Chemical , why they did not use them when Israel attacked their NUKE facilities ??? I can tell this , Syria nor Lebanon are afraid of Israel . Israel have to understand that as long they do not threat anybody , nobody going to threaten them , But you got that war monger Natenyahu , he thinks that he can attack even us , and get by with it , because he thinks the US senate and Congress will back him up , and you know what ??? he is right about that one . Its sad .
Iran continues to threaten them but I guess you missed that part.
Israel was not involved in either Iraq or Libya so you are wrong there.
Well Myturn - I guess the Syrians and the Lebanese aren't too bright when it comes to Israel then. I mean after the shellacking they took in 1948 and again in 1967, the smart money would be on NOT instigating the dog that has already bit you twice.
But as uninformed as your comments may be, when you have Khomeni calling a country a tumor that needs to be removed, that certainly doesn't sound like a hey let's be friends sort of comment, or even Ahmadinejad saying Israel needs to be wiped off the face of the Earth certainly does nothing to bolster any sympathy for Iran now does it. And just a little tidbit for your edification, during Desert Shield/Desert Storm when Iraq was launching those scud missiles into Israel in order to draw them into the war to elicit sympathy from other muslim countries, it was the US that told Israel to stand down. We provided them Patriot Missile Batteries and targeted the mobile launchers that were firing into Israel.
Israel did not dictate to us what our course of action should be, though I can certainly understand your Anti-Israeli feelings seeing how anything Israel does is evil, vile, and otherwise provocative, to include defending themselves when mortars and short range rockets are fired into their population centers from those peaceful Palestinians. Heaven forbid a country defending itself from external threats just because they are Jews and should roll over for the Muslim nations surrounding them.... I guess the next time some muslim extremist decides to target the world trade center, or threatens to blow up a dam, or even smuggle a bio terror weapon into THIS country, we should just stick our thumbs up our own asses too and do nothing.
The funny thing is, you have Sunni Muslims and Shi'ite Muslims that believe in the same God, but sure as hell can't stop from killing each other. So much for the "peaceful" religeon eh...
No will what your politicians and Mr. Obama doing now is arming and training the same people that attacked here on 9/11 , in Syria , and tell what's the reason of doing that ??? Israel , but you all too damn smart to see that , but I guess people like you still believe Iraq had WMD's and that Saddam sent them to his enemies the Syrians , Boy you you all just too smart , and Israel does not dictate our policy and election , so tell me , Why in the hell Romney went there trying to give Jerusalem and more money that we already give them ??? I guess AIPAC and the Jewish lobby and votes have nothing to do with it , right ??? but Its OK , give Israel , and the hell with the suffering American people , why don't you all go to Israel and live , because most of you care about Israel than you do the US .
Well Myturn, I guess you are absolutely right. Iraq never had WMDs, funny how they were used in the Iran Iraq war, on the Kurds, and we (that is those of us that served during Desert Shield/Storm) got to fight for the liberation of Kuwait in charcoal lined chemical suits because of the HISTORY of Iraq using those NEVER HAD EM Chemical Weapons. And you are exactly right, we are arming the same people who attacked us on 9/11, though we armed them long before the Syrian Conflict. Apparently you have never heard of the Russian Invasion of Afghanistan, the Cold War, or our support with arms and money to the Mujahadeen, later to be known as Al Qeada lead by Osama Bin Laden. Nor are you even faintly aware that those arms and weapons were funneled to those "freedom fighters" through the Pakistani ISI and the Haqqani network.
I would also take it one step further to say we even ALLOWED those terrorists to attend flight school here in the US that enabled them to be able to even FLY those planes once they were hijacked. But SMART PEOPLE LIKE ME also realize and are SMART ENOUGH to know that whether or not we support the rebellion of a people against a dictator that indiscriminately kills women, children, the sick and the elderly, that there is RIGHT AND WRONG and the brutality shown toward CIVILIANS can not be condoned.
And I will take your contention concerning the AIPAC even further with the mere pointing out that our political system is even more corrupt than just a Jewish Lobby. I seem to recall just about ANY political broadcast as being slanted toward LATINO VOTERS, BLACK VOTERS, WOMEN, and other special interests like UNION WORKERS. But hell what do I know, I mean afterall, the Black Congressional Caucus, the Hispanic Congressional Caucus, the French Congressional Caucus, Congressional ASIAN PACIFIC caucus, and the host of others CERTAINLY doesn't exist, certainly doesn't pander for votes, and certainly isn't out buying the votes of our elected representatives. But I guess I am not SMART ENOUGH to understand reading the indeterminate list of congressional caucuses and see all of THOSE special interest groups, or even the amount of money that is used to buy ( oh I mean support through campaign contributions) our supposed unbiased and full of integrity leaders.
And perhaps Mitt has a soft spot for a people constantly under the threat of being exterminated by a radical extremist government that didn't hesitate to take our citizens hostage for 444 days, or maybe he just figures no one else like the Jews so someone should. Talk about ignorance...
My Turn
That was the Catholics and Christians. The Jews don't believe in Jesus though he was one!WOW!
Attack them!.....Kill them!.....They have WMDs!......They will destroy the world!!!........droooooolllllllll!
It is good that IRan proceed further with her nuclear program for energy generation. It would be even better if Iran proceed with the nuclear weapon development. The middle east needs another military power to counter balance the belligerence of israel. Only when Iran processes nuclear weapons, israel's hositility towards Iran will be checked.
A MAD between Iran and israel is what the middle east needs!
Yes, eric von dorf...I remember Netanyahu saying that Iran was a "cancerous tumor"...OH, SORRY! It was Ahmadinejad who said that about Israel, so that HE was the hostile one. My mistake.
The "hostile one" is the one that starts dropping bombs. Both sides are sabre rattling.
But one side is threatening nuclear program only, while the other is threatening an entire country.
@cass
Ahmadinegad is dead right, zionist regime is indeed a cancerous tumor that needs to be eradicated.
This is not to israel to be eliminated, israel certainly has a right to exist but should move back to the 1967 border and dismantle all illegal settlements and the government run by rational people.
Nittyahoo must be put down.
Henrich not eric von Dorf
@ELI
Should israel launches pre-emptive strikes on Iran, Iran is bound to retaliated with all the missiles in her arsenal. This will devasted israel to the point of near total destruction. israel would then nuke Iran and this will draw in Russia, China and US to the brink of WWIII. It is extremely dangerous if israel attacks first and therefore nittyahoo must be stopped.
The hostile one is the one that frequently attack others militarily without any provocations.
@Henrich von Dorf
You don't consider repeated public statements indicating that "Israel should be wiped off the map" as a provocation?
What about all of the weapons Iran has sent to Syria, Hezbollah and Hamas?
@davefromorange
The statement made by Ahmadinegad was that zionism must be wiped off the map not israel must be wiped off. There is a marked difference. You are doped by pro-israel media propaganda to believe the statement was to wipe israel off the map.
israel had attacked Iraq and Syria nuclear installation without provocation and now threatens to strike the Iranian. Mind you israel is armed to the teeth and has nukes. None of her neighbours wants to attack israel but build up defense for self preservation.
israel has conducted a compaign of assasinating Iranian nuclear scientists and Palestinian resistant leaders
Henrich, a cancerous tumor, by definition, must be removed. He did not say that Zionism was the cancerous tumor...that was his description of Israel. Not that I see much difference, since Zion and Israel are the same place.
And as for calling you "Eric von Dorf," that is a play on words...because "Eric Dorf" was the Nazi in "Holocaust." I believe that...consciously or not...you were influenced by that name in choosing your own screen name.
First off saying something should happen is a lot different from saying, I'm going to do it. I have heard almost weekly threats from people in power in Israel implying an attack is imminent. All you get from Iran is some yahoo cleric say some saying some stupid "death to Israel" type crap. I've got news. Nobody is gong to attack nuclear Israel in an open war. Even if Iran had nukes. they (like every other nuclear power) would never use them because they know they would be wiped out (and not only by Israel). Their isn't even good evidence they are building them. All I see is the same crappy sat pictures of trucks and buildings bla bla bla. Then they play scary music so you think they have something. For all we know it's a giant chicken coop we're looking at. We've see that song and dance before from Colin Powell.
Second (and most important) just because two @!$%#s once met in a bar is not a justification for starting a war killing thousands of people and causing world turmoil. If you want to go fight for Israel go do it. I'm American NOT Israeli and I see no reason to protect Israel ESPECIALLY if they are going to START a war. The USA can ill afford to get into another major war.
The pre-1967 borders did nothing to stop the Arabs from warring with Israel three times in less than 20 years.
Each war was a war of survival against complete destruction.
So, you'll forgive the Israelis for not buying that offal about the 'pre 1967 borders' being the cause of all the trouble.
The 6-days war in 1967 was initiated by israel with the initial sneak attack of Egyptian airfield.
israel is not contented with the 1967 border but pursuing a course of territory expansion at the expense of her arab neighbours. This policy persists until this very moment, including continual approval of illegal settlement in Palestinian land.
Any resistance to israel occupation and oppression is met by deadly force by idf thugs, resulting in death of countless innocent civilians and the destruction of their homes.
israel is not fighting a war of survival, but rather conquest and plunder. Sadly US is blindly supporting israel for whatever crimes she committed as US government policy is dictated by AIPAC.
@cass
I have no problem with you, steve B or anyone defending israel because of your pro-israel stand or jewish identity. Same way you should have no problem with our critcism of israel because of our believe she is in wrong. This vine provides a forum for rational debate by civilized people, with reasoning and stick to the fact rather than name calling or personal attack.
Take a look of posting #12.4 kashanian is obviously departing from this understanding and resort to personal attack. Frankly she has no place in this forum.
You have already admitted in your past posts that you know that the "sneak attack" was in fact a preemptive strike, so you must know that Israel merely stopped Israel from attacking them.
If Israel was pursuing the expansion of the territory, they would have just kept the Sinai which they actually had after the 1967 war. They gave it away in exchange for a vague promise of peace, which proves your claims to be nonsense.
Do you consider it resistance to blow yourself up on a bus or in a restaurant, or shooting rockets at residential areas? Most people call it terrorism. And yes, terrorism is met with deadly force, as it should be.
Gee Eli, how do you explain these comments from former leaders of Israel? It appears that they never believed Egypt was going to attack Israel. The Egypians were foolish not to be prepared for an attack by the Israeli snakes.
“Senator [J.William Fulbright]
proposed in 1970 that America should guarantee Israel’s security in a formal
treaty, protecting her with armed forces if necessary. In return, Israel would
retire to the borders of 1967. The UN Security Council would guarantee this
arrangement, and thereby bring the Soviet Union — then a supplier of arms and
political aid to the Arabs — into compliance. As Israeli troops were withdrawn
from the Golan Heights, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank they would be replaced
by a UN peacekeeping force. Israel would agree to accept a certain number of
Palestinians and the rest would be settled in a Palestinian state outside
Israel.
“The plan drew favorable editorial
support in the United States. The proposal, however, was flatly rejected by
Israel. ‘The whole affair disgusted Fulbright,’ writes [his biographer Randall]
Woods. ‘The Israelis were not even willing to act in their own self-interest.’”
Allan Brownfield in “Issues of the American Council for Judaism.” Fall
1997.[Ed.—This was one of many such proposals]
What
happened after the 1967 war ended?
“In violation of international law,
Israel has confiscated over 52 percent of the land in the West Bank and 30
percent of the Gaza Strip for military use or for settlement by Jewish
civilians...From 1967 to 1982, Israel’s military government demolished 1,338
Palestinian homes on the West Bank. Over this period, more than 300,000
Palestinians were detained without trial for various periods by Israeli
security forces. “Intifada: The Palestinian Uprising Against Israeli
Occupation,” ed. Lockman and Beinin.
It appears Israel took plenty of land afer the 1967 war.
“The former Commander of the Air
Force, General Ezer Weitzman, regarded as a hawk, stated that there was ‘no
threat of destruction’ but that the attack on Egypt, Jordan and Syria was
nevertheless justified so that Israel could ‘exist according the scale, spirit,
and quality she now embodies.’...Menahem Begin had the following remarks to
make: ‘In June 1967, we again had a choice. The Egyptian Army concentrations in
the Sinai approaches do not prove that Nasser was really about to attack us. We
must be honest with ourselves. We decided to attack him.’“ Noam Chomsky,
“The Fateful Triangle.”
Was
the 1967 war defensive? — continued
“I do not think Nasser wanted war.
The two divisions he sent to The Sinai would not have been sufficient to launch
an offensive war. He knew it and we knew it.” Yitzhak Rabin, Israel’s Chief
of Staff in 1967, in Le Monde, 2/28/68
"The thesis that the danger of genocide was hanging over us in June
1967 and that Israel was fighting for its physical existence is only bluff,
which was born and developed after the war."
Israeli General Matityahu Peled, Ha'aretz, 19 March 1972.
Moshe
Dayan posthumously speaks out on the Golan Heights
“Moshe Dayan, the celebrated
commander who, as Defense Minister in 1967, gave the order to conquer the
Golan...[said] many of the firefights with the Syrians were deliberately
provoked by Israel, and the kibbutz residents who pressed the Government to
take the Golan Heights did so less for security than for the farmland...[Dayan
stated] ‘They didn’t even try to hide their greed for the land...We would send
a tractor to plow some area where it wasn’t possible to do anything, in the demilitarized
area, and knew in advance that the Syrians would start to shoot. If they didn’t
shoot, we would tell the tractor to advance further, until in the end the
Syrians would get annoyed and shoot.
And then we would use artillery and
later the air force also, and that’s how it was...The Syrians, on the fourth
day of the war, were not a threat to us.’” The New York Times, May 11, 1997
@eli
If you do not steal my land, oppress me there is no reason I will shoot you or blow myself up to bring you down.
Where there is oppression, there is resistance. Think of that before you make any unintelligent accusation of those who fight back as terrorists.
Google Palestine map and one will see Palestinians have lost two third of their land to the israeli land grabbers in the last 50 years.
Whether sneak attack or pre-emptive strike, they are the same.
Contrary to the claim that israel defended herself against her arab neighbours, as zionist apologists like to mislead the world, israel was always the one that launched the initial strike that led to a full scale war whi h israel was well prepared in advance and therefore achieve victory in the conflict.
@eli
israel returned the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt for the only reason israel did not want to engage in a protracted war with Egypt in her southern flank, which will otherwise put israel in a precarious ad no-win situation.
Why is israel still keeping Golan Height and not returning to Syria. Land grabbing and expansionism that is why. Syria is less militarily powerful as Egypt and israel has no hear of her.
First, Palestinians are indeed not oppressed, so there is no excuse for their terrorism.
Second, Israel was indeed well prepared for the conflict, because it was not the first or the last time somebody tried to attack them. Egyptians and their supporters merely proved to be sore losers.
Third, Israel is not returning Golan Heights because if they do that, Syrians will put rocket launchers there and shoot at Israel, and Israel does not want that.
You see, what you call "stealing land" is in fact "taking ground in a war", because in a war one has to take ground or die where they stand.
I am sure you would love to see Israel to just give the ground to their enemies, so they could use it to move in closer for better aim and attack Israel yet again with a little more success, but you will have to face it that Israel is not that stupid.
If Palestinians living in Gaza under seige condition subject ot inhumae and humiliation treatment at the hands of idf thugs are not oppressed, then what is oppression? The following websites may open your mind, but then again being staunch pro-israel, you will not accept the fact israel oppress Palestinians:

Gaza? You are either joking, or lived in a bubble for a few years.
Check the map, Gaza has open border with Egypt.
Also, siege is long over, they receive aid form all over the world including Israel, and there hasn't been a single IDF member there since the great trade when Israel returned over a 1000 prisoners in exchange for just one. The only humiliation and inhumane treatment Gazans suffer is from your beloved Hamas.
As expected, you are blind to the truth and continue troll for israel.
As expected, you are blind to the truth and continue to troll for islamists.
You see, what you call "stealing land" is in fact "taking ground in a war", because in a war one has to take ground or die where they stand. - I think a guy named Adolf said something to that effect. In fact, he would most definitely agree with your viewpoint.
No doubt about it...Iran using nuclear energy is what it is all about. Even though they have the fourth largest oil reserves right underneath them...they do need nuclear energy. They are too stupid to refine the oil themselves. Trust me...Iran is very peaceful.
bush 43 added 8 trillion to the national debt .I can hear it know if Romneytron 2000 wins,Iran has WMD.WW3,we can't afford another war and more tax cuts for the rich.
Umm, if I run a company, and sign a contract that binds me to pay 8 million over a decade, and I'm replaced as CEO after 4 years and only paying 4 of the 8 million, did I raise the debt 4 or 8 million?
Because when you add in continuing costs for Medicare part D, TARP and the Iraq war, we are in the 8 trillion range.
K- The costs of the Iraq war were not computed into Bush 43s accumulated debt, which is why it was lower than Obama's. Bush 43 put the entire cost of the war on America's credit card. The largest expansion of government in America's long history, took place during Bush 43s administration, yet the Republicans claim they are for smaller government. Obama is stuck paying for the wear and the incredible amount of interest on the loans from China, used to finance the wars.
Now Romney wants another war for Israel.
The Republicans had full control of the Senate, House and Judiciary, yet they did nothing about Roe-Wade or immigration, their hot button issues, which they hang onto in order to bring them up each election. Their constituemts are too stupid to realize they are being had election after election. They were too busy starting wars of choice over lies and deception.
Ralph H and Heinrich Van Dorf (Iranian Muslim and a Nazzi - an unholly but a historical alliance) still looking to twist the truth and spaw hatred against Israel, even after the IAEA has published their report against Iran.
faredeh kashanian, a self-professed iranian turn zionist still looking to twist the truth and spaw lies to defend the zionist regime, even after UN has issued so many resolutions against israel.
Thank goodness Bush Jr. is gone. He had the habit of taking out leaders that hated Iran. Now we got problems of Iraq wanting to trade with Iran. We went from being the most loved country to most hated over night because of Bubba Bush Jr.
Yep deb you are certainly right (sarcasm). As I recall, we had this thing called the Iranian Hostage Crisis in 1979 where 52 Americans were held hostage for 444 days in the US Embassy in Tehran. Oh BTW, that was during the Jimmy Carter (D) days. Or maybe you are referring to how well we were loved we were during Billy Boy Clinton's (D) time with the bombing of Khobar Towers in 1996, you know the same time frame when he was too busy NOT HAVING SEX WITH THAT WOMAN - the same woman with the Clinton Stains on her dress. Or are you referring to the 1983 bombing of the US Marine Barracks in Lebanon, or the attacking of the Achille Lauro in which a wheelchair bound American was thrown overboard and drown in 1985, or the 1988 Lockerbie Bombing of Pan Am flight 103, or the May 11th, 1972 attack against the US Army HQ in Frankfurt Germany carried out by the Red Army Faction, or the 1974 Patty Hearst Kidnapping by Symbionese Liberation Army. Yes the list is even longer AND ALL PRIOR TO BUSH, but that don't matter now does it? It is all his fault....
Obama has no intention of stopping Iran from getting the Bomb, and the World know it, and so does Iran. Obama is NOT GOOD AMERICAN, AND INTENDS TO DESTROY US. People, please VOTE THIS MAN OUT OF OFFICE. You think things are bad now, just you wait. If he gets back in there will be nothing to stop him from finishing his job, which is to BRING THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TO ITS KNEES.
Ah, feed the Military Industrial Complex since they lobby Washington like none other. (Thank You Eisenhower for making us aware of this tragedy) What are our options? We invade every other country in the world
because we are afraid that they might have nukes??? What does that make this country? At this pace, we will be bankrupted as a nation and truly unable to defend when necessary. Remember Rome?
Let Israel go it alone . Wake up America, Israel is not our friend or ally. How many millions, billions have we loaned or given them? Israels abuse and criminal acts against the palestinian peoples is well documented, for decades. There dirty fingerprints are smeared all over the middle east just like the arab countries and Iran.We owe them nothing.
If Iran want's weapons, all they have to do if buy them from Russia or China. The United States have no right telling another sovereign nation that it can't utilize nuclear energy if they want to. The whole thing about Iran being a Theocracy doesn't hold water. After all, it's the United States, ("We are a Christian Nation") that has used nuclear weapons.
We are a christian nation? where in the constitution did you find that?
Israel is paranoid and Iran is psychotic. The funny part is they all look alike..I can't tell one from the other. That makes them spoiled brats as well. I mean what does Jewish mean if you really are birds of the same feather. This makes them extremely nieve as well. God put Israe there for a reason. He has a sense of humor . It is not to give Israel a home land but to become one with their brothers no to build fences of oppresssion. The wrong powers are leading the sheep is all it is. They are blinded by evil..
Iran is psychotic and that is why Israel is paranoid.
Funny, no one is concerned by England or France possessing nuclear weapons. Likewise, Israel, which has had these weapons for the better part of 50 years, saw Arab armies attack numerous times without fear that this rational democracy would employ them.
The difference between a nation with a freely elected government supported by contentious, rival parties and an irrational, anti-democratic theocracy having these weapons is huge. Countries like North Korea and Iran are bad actors on the world stage and cannot be trusted.
If my neighbor is a solid citizen and has a gun collection, I am not concerned. If my neighbor is a lunatic and owns a butter knife, I am.
Here is what a lot of People in the USA can't figure out. Iran either has the Bomb or they are close to having it. Iran is not going to attack the US. They will hand it over to one of their buddies like Hams or some of the other Group that hates the U.S.. They will bring it in to the US through Mexico, we all know that you can walk right into this Country and not get caught. Then they will take it to New York or Washington and and kill a couple of million people plus the land will be a total WASTE. By then it will be to late to Counter Strike because the Damage and all the Deaths will have already occur. Then for all of you that say they had a Right to have Nukes,You will most likely be Dead. That is why Israel will take them out first. Go Israel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Read The Writing On The Wall
The world is over populated. The people in power want to go to a one world government. The New World Order. In the New World order we the people will lose all of our rights as Citizens and become Subjects (SLAVES) in the NWO.
America will be at war with Syria next followed by a war with Iran which will lead us into World War III.
In World War III EMP's will be used to knock out our power grid. This will not effect the milataries fiber optic system but we the people will be in the dark ages as the governments around the world systematically wipe out 6 billion 500 million of the 7 billion people living on planet Earth today.
The leaders in Iran are all in the same 16 foot canoe trying to paddle up the river. The harder they paddle the more they get tired and then scream like spoiled school children blaming all their frustrations on Israel. We really should ignore the poor behavior and try to calm these poor misguided spoiled children from acting badly.
Mitt Romney had 5 great steps and then took one giant leap backwards with his comments about our misguided spoiled brats in the middle east. Please consider History, Iran has not attacked anyone in the past 100 years and actions do speak louder than words.
Our motto is nuclear energy for all and nuclear weapons for none
there it is ladies and gentlemen, right from the horse's mouth! the iranian blackmail! as soon as they get the bomb deployed on their missiles and ready to be fired against israel, saudi arabia and usa bases, they will declare they will abandon it if all the other countries do the same, failing to do that ,iran is and will remain a nuclear power! you heard it here first, and don't forget it .it will happen soon.
Nuclear suicide bombs will affect the whole world.
Iran is led by a madman. He is the product of a religion that celebrates suicide bombings. He can not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons. If he has them, he will certainly use them. Not only the US and Israel, but all the civilized nations of the world must take any steps necessary to ensure that it never happens.
A radioactive atmosphere will not respect national borders!
Kannin - I would say to you that suicide bombers do not originate in Iran. Just because you call someone a madman, does not make him a madman. That is Zionist propganda, designed to demonize Iranians.
The real madmen are the leaders of Israel, who want to attack a country, not because they have a nuclear bomb, but to stop them from learning how to make one, if they ever wanted one. Here is an illustration of how madmen think: Preeminent Israeli military historian, Martin van Creveld, in 2010 said that “Israel
could find itself one day forced to exterminate the European continent using all
kinds of weapons including its nuclear arsenal if it felt its demise neared,”
and stressed that “Israel also considers Europe a hostile target.”
“We have hundreds of nuclear warheads and
missiles that can reach different targets in the heart of the European
continent, including beyond the borders of Rome, the Italian capital,” Creveld
said, adding that most of the European capitals would become preferred targets
for the Israeli air force.
He reiterated “Israel’s ability to destroy the
whole world whenever it felt its existence would be doomed to extinction.”
That would be the ultimate suicide attack and it is Jews planning that attack.
I don't like it one bit. Extreme regimes like Nazi Germany was are dangerous and will leverage their abilities.
