Police officers in Bangkok, Thailand, inspect a Ferrari owned by Vorayuth Yoovidhya, a grandson of the creator of the Red Bull energy drink, on Monday. Police allege the vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run incident that killed a police officer.
BANGKOK -- A grandson of the creator of the Red Bull energy drink has been arrested for driving a Ferrari that struck a police officer and dragged his dead body down a Bangkok street in an early-morning hit-and-run, police said Monday.
Police took Vorayuth Yoovidhya, 27, for questioning after tracing oil streaks for several blocks to his family's gated estate in a wealthy neighborhood of the Thai capital.
He was facing charges of causing death by reckless driving and escaping an arrest by police but was released on a 500,000 baht ($15,900) bail.
Vorayuth admitted he drove the charcoal gray sports car but said the police officer's motorcycle abruptly cut in front of his vehicle, said police Maj. Gen. Anuchai Lekbamroong, the lead investigator in the case.
Attempt at cover up alleged
Bangkok's top police official, Lt. Gen. Comronwit Toopgrajank, said he took charge of the investigation after a lower-ranking policeman initially tried to cover up the crime by turning in a bogus suspect.
Comronwit himself led a team of officers to search the compound of late Red Bull founder Chaleo Yoovidhaya, one of Thailand's wealthiest men before he passed away this year, and confiscated a Ferrari with a badly damaged front bumper and broken windshield.
The victim, Sgt. Maj. Wichean Glanprasert, 47, was killed during a motorcycle patrol before dawn. Thai media reported that the car dragged the officer and his motorcycle for several dozen yards as it sped through the residential neighborhood.
Comronwit said he suspended the police officer who attempted to subvert the investigation.
"A policeman is dead. I can't let this stand. If I let this case get away, I'd rather quit," he told reporters. "I don't care how powerful they are. If I can't get the actual man in this case, I will resign."

Family wealth
Vorayuth did not speak to the media but the family lawyer said the family will be take responsibility for the damages.

AP
Vorayuth Yoovidhya, a grandson of late Red Bull founder Chaleo Yoovidhaya, is taken into custody by police in Bangkok, Thailand, on Monday over suspicion of his involvement in a deadly hit-and-run incident.
The Yoovidhaya family was ranked the 4th richest in Thailand this year by Forbes magazine, with a net worth of $5.4 billion. Red Bull creator Chaleo Yoovidhaya died in his 80s in March, leaving his heirs a wide range of businesses, including shares in the globally popular energy drink brand, hospitals and real estate.
The family also co-owns the sole authorized importer of Ferrari cars in Thailand.

Money talks bull@!$%# walks. He will get away with it and that's the truth. $$$$$$$$$$$
No doubt. In the US the liberals and hollywood would be all over this, demanding he be teated as is he were above the law, like they are.
True, but this appears to involve a police officer and that could make things difficult. Hopefully this rich kid punk will spend the rest of his days rotting in jail.
It is good to see that there is at least one police official in Thailand who can not be bought. I congratulate him on having the guts to go after the right suspect regardless of his family's wealth and influence and for taking action against the officer who tried to cover this up. I get a kick out of the family statement about taking responsibility for the damages as if a police officer's life is no different than a wrecked motorcycle, something to be paid for and forgotten. I hope this spoiled rich kid gets the prison time he deserves. Even if it did start out as a simple accident, his continuing to drive, dragging the officer's body along with him, and attempt to flee to avoid getting caught warrant that he serve serious prison time. From what I understand, Thai prisons are not exactly pleasant places to be and definitely far worse than the worst prison in the US.
Looks like an overprivileged punk to me. He looks like he is 12, not 27. Why in the hell would they give him a powerful Ferrari to drive? Morons.
This is a story as old as time itself and will be repeated as long as rich men are foolish enough to allow their progeny to have expensive cars (or chariots in yesteryears) that are way beyond the right of said spoiled little rich kids to be driving.
Napoleon Hill in Think and Grow Rich said it back in 1929. with words very close to these even if it is not an exact quote, "Countless young men and women have been ruined by inheriting power and money that they did not earn."
Of course, if you want to kill your son, giving them a Ferrari is an awfully good way to help up the chances they will accomlish your end (and theirs) for you.
Stupid does, as stupid is.
@alan3008;
Punk? Morons?
If that ain't the pot calling the kettle black. You're hiding behind a keyboard thousands of miles away calling people you've never even met names.
Really!
You got that right RockyMountian123! If it were the "Average Joe Blow", He would spend at least 5 years before going to trial and then be dragged through town. This guy will spend a year in jail (or Less) and be a free man with only a slap on the wrist.
tstucker,
I think the story would be even more accurate, since we making up political hack statements, that if the suspect was Mitt Romney's son he "would be demanding he be teated as is he were above the law, like they are."
I think you meant to say, "Money talks and Red Bull walks".
Do you wonder how much of the lower ranking police investigator's paycheck was contributed by the Yoovidhya family? That is, the investigator who turned in the initial bogus report trying, of course, to excuse the red bull heir. Perhaps we should wonder how that investigator ever got his job?
rockymountain123... Money doesn't talk... it screams!
so what it was just a cop whats the big deal
...Of course, I like that line from the young man about, "The cop cut over in front of me." I would guess that the cop and everybody else who was driving that day were on a public road with a 48 to 72kph (30 to 45 mph) speed limit on it; not a race track with sharp corners and open runway speeds of 193kph (120 mph).
If you avoid their products from now on, that will hit them even harder.
tstucker0958... Could you explain how, or why, you felt the need to turn this into a political rant? Get a grip. Your misguided anger is showing. Anger dwells only in the bosom of fools. Albert Einstein
Here's a little "Light reading" for you (apparently, you can read):
Conservative: adj. 1. Favoring preservation of the existing order. 2. Moderate; cautious. 3. Traditional
Liberal: adj. 1. Favoring individual freedom and nonrevolutionary reform. 2. Broad-minded or tolerant. 3.Generous; bountiful.
Is it the "Broadminded, tolerant" or the "generous" parts that most irritate you?
He will be out of the country on the company jet and never return to Thailand. Watch and see.
And what about the poor guy that was originally named to the deed? Was he a TAXI driver who would not pay his bribe?
ANYTHING can be bought over there, hopefully justice sets an example!!!
The prodigal grandson probably saw the police officer as not much more than one of those bright red cones they place on the road. I bet he felt more sorry about the damage to his expensive toy. Hope he's tought a lesson in humility and made to do hard time in prison. Some inmate could use a new girlfriend.
There is absolutely no doubt this punk will get away with it.
Responsibility in Thailand even for this type of incident is called "restitution" to that Thai's. To us it's called a bribe.
The multi billion dollar family will pay off the victims family, young Vorayuth will pay a hefty fine because he fled the scene (hit and run), and that will be the end of it.
If it actually got as far as prosecution, because the bribes didn't work, which they do(speaking from experience), but let's say they didn't. Let's say they found him guilty and he would have to do real time in the "monkey house"(Thai Prison). This punk would be living the good life next to his new neighbor, the former Prime Minister of Thailand, Thaksin Shinawatra in Montenegro.
I've never tried a Red Bull (or any other color of Bull), I get all of my bull from Newsvine ranters.
3 cents to make the stuff - earning the family billions of $$$$$.
My favorite is the Mexican beer made in New York - consumers ain't too bright.
drink your red bull...and take the money...they are americanized...the dead cops family ...no one will mined if you take back from the rich...who stole it to start with...
bankok has him now, once she has someone she never lets go. only thing to do now is get a tattoo around your eye
NOT IF, BUT WHEN the Yoovidhaya family pay off the victim's family, necessary police and politicians, is the money tax deductible?
every billionaire has a good for nothing heir.
So his bail is $15,000. The car he was driving cost $1,000,000 in Thailand. Repairs on the car will be much more than the bail. Pretty sure that bail is going to keep him around, the family could not dare to lose the bail.
If this would've happened in the US, he would have been dead by now.
"Why in the hell would they give him a powerful Ferrari to drive?"
because they can

Nasty, but funny comment Jungle jim and dennis
Just another 1% having some fun, after all he worked soooo hard to make err inherit all that money; why are all you jealous peasants after him?
So what if he ran over some worthless middle class cop, they are a dime a dozen and the dead guys family should feel honored to have their peasant cop killed by such a prestigious person.
Vote Republican this fall and we can have the same type of people running OUR government.
Correct, it happens here every day by hundreds of cases!
Your 1% BS is laughable .. with out us 1%ers there are NO 99%ers .. because if not for us ... there is no money to pay you guys or taxes to cover your welfare
Texas, your post is a pathetic crock of @!$%#. Without hourly workers there would be no businesses. You're nothing special.
I doubt some burger flipper who still lives with their parents can afford to pay my salary.
it's nice Texas you think you'er part of the 1%...but i don't think so...so if you are rich then where did you get your money?...(and don't say from your father)...you would of had to sold something to make the money...you would need the demand of the 99% for it to be worth something...we already know by Romney that you don't pay your fair share in Taxes..it's the middle class that pays the most...so you let us and me know what product you sell to make you money and i will stop buying it...
now you can get your head out of the clouds...and your A#%...
Texas, nice sarcasm dude. Reality check needed: There is no such thing in America as 1%er's or 99%er's. There are those with a victim mentality or those with a opportunity mentality. The victims are parasites, the opportunist take advantage of what America has to offer and produce. The percentages are closer to 43% victims and 57% opportunists. That in itself is pathetic. It should be 100% opportunists. The 99%er's is Occupy fiction. What needs to happen is the 57%er's need to get out and vote and re-create a government of opportunity that will prove that victimization is the road to failure and encourage those so inclined to leave America or get off their fat lazy butts and do something worthwhile with their lives.
Nice Texas college logo. Does it stand for Texas asinine and ignoramus? This kid should have never been given a Ferrari, like Hulk Hogans kid in a 600 Hph racecar, bad stuff will always happen.

Texas A&I

Hay loser! There is more than one 1 percenter group. If you have the money to be in the upper 1% is one thing. There is the 1%er who has the best character, most caring, most loved, did the most to make the world a better place.
I hope you are happy with the only 1% club you will ever be in. Money. Boring! Life is only so long.
Mark, you sound like a typical socialist/communist flunkie who is waiting for his government check so he can go blow it on booze and hookers. The only people who want obongo to win this November are the ones he's paying with my tax dollars. Get a job and try to contribute cretin.
Texas A&I? Arrogance and Ignorance?
wow what a coment ya democrats are all poor
What the hell are all you dinks talking about??!!
This is a story of some rich kid in Thailand killing a policeman, and somehow, you single-minded idiots have converted it into the same-ol-same-ol. (I ain't got because of him, he ain't got because of something else)
Damn, they should create a comment string so every day you can have somewhere to go and paste this tired old @!$%#.
Try to stay on point, you left-wing right-wing jackoffs.
Sorry dumbo, this is a classic lib thing. Trust fund baby, billions of dollars, above the law? Classic Hollywood, the dem, lib, commie capital of the world. Republicans work for their money. You should try it sometime, instead of just sitting on your fat, lazy, arse and being jealous of those who do work.
Lets ban these high speed cars. They kill. Cars don't kill, drivers kill.
Republicans work for their money? That's some funny stuff there. It's only a classic hollywood thing if you count them making movies and TV shows about Conservatives doing it. Commie capital of the world? Your ignorance of what communism is astounds. If it were communists, then why are there hollywood starts making millions of dollars? Shouldn't they be doing it for the same as every other worker or at least giving those millions back to the others? I mean communism is all about the sharing.
Yep you're right! Sounds just like a Kennedy.
The only difference between a 1%er and a 99%er is that when a 1%er dies they have 99% of the remaining family fighting over 100% of what was left behind...
Both die, both decompose, both take nothing with them......
Hey ~ I'm a Republican and I DO work for my money ... have for the last 45+ years and am trying to retire. That I will be able to is doubtful since Obammy and his Chicago Machine group are spending with both hands. But wait, you think if the Republicans take office it will be even worse, right? From where I sit Republicans don't spend money they don't have and might even have members in the cabinet who PAY all the taxes they're supposed to (think Mr. Geitner). Why are all the liberals in this country the rich people (lawyers, academia,Hollywood types etc.) or the ones who manipulate the entitlement programs? Answer me that one?
The 1% doesnt even pay taxes. This case sounds like the loopholes that those crooks are able to get through. Hopefully This next term we can get them to pay taxes then you can claim that BS that "the 1% pays for our welfare"
Linnie49-- Did you think that the "Trickle Down" ecomomics was going to trickle down to you so you could retire....I guess the only thing your Republican side has trickled down was the piss on your leg. Now there's Romney who "worked" to destroy hundreds of Retirements in Kansas City at Armoco Steel. Funny part is they claim it was a bankrupt business....One question who can sell an unproductive business for a million dollar profit, and give the shareholders a severance pay?? O'yea just "steal" the workers pensions and health care and move on to the next business.. Sorry Linnie I think your retirement went into building Romeny's elevator for his sons Ferrari. TRICKLE DOWN, LMAO
Linnie: " From where I sit Republicans don't spend money they don't have and might even have members in the cabinet who PAY all the taxes they're supposed to"
REALLY? You might want to change your seating arrangements because:
1. Bush spent (and his legacy continues to spend TODAY) trillions of dollars on 2 futile wars which he DID not put on the books--both of which were and are being paid for with trillions of BORROWED $$.
2. Why won't Romney show his tax returns for more than 1 year--how do we KNOW the members of the cabinet pay "all the taxes they're supposed to?" Of course--to be fair--you did use the word "might."
Think about it.
Linnie,
I love how the kcroofer and Maxwell fliped everything said without addressing anything. Typical.
kcroofer, Trickle down actually does work, and is responsible for the economic growth that Clinton enjoyed and gets credited with. Clinton's actions are what caused this recession. Glass Steagal anyone. If you think a president affects the economy in his term, you dont know anything about economics. Romney didnt work to destroy retirements. He tried to save businesses that were failing. If you think they can save everyone, you should go back to the 4th grade. And yes, when a company goes backrupt you can sell it. The business closing is what stopped the pension and health care. Again, a very basic understanding of economics would help you know this.
Maxwell (love the name btw) do you know why Bush was not allowed to speak at the republican national convention his last year in office, he started acting like a liberal. Spending money he didnt have, opening the borders to mexico, starting pointless wars (check out what party starts more wars, and what party ends them, it may suprise you, not me because I actually look these things up), yup, acting just like the left. And the money he spent on those wars are nothing compaired to the entitlements and Obamacare that the left reach out their hands for. And why wont Romney show his Tax returns? Who cares. I sure as hell dont. As long as the policies benefit the nation, I dont care what he does with his taxes. Of course you are jealous of his success so you bring up the tired taxes thing again, but people who care about the economy, dont have time for such pointless nonesense. And yes, Obama does have proven tax cheats in his administration. All you have is hype.
Think about it
it's nice when the rich do bad things they get special treatment...see you can hit someone with your car kill them then run away and you're out on bail for $15,000.00...why even bother...sure the guy cared less about the person he killed...well never buying Red Bull again...not paying for his bail for his next mess up...
it's nice when the rich do bad things they get special treatment...see you can TANK THE ECONOMY then run away and you're out on bail for nothing...why even bother...sure the guy cared less about the 401k's he killed...well never buying Wall street again...not paying for his bail-out for his next mess up...
Fixed for you....
This 1 v 99% is getting OLD. Steve Jobs, Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates and other Microsoft Nerds, Facebook Nerd, (cant remember the nerds name, Woman that wrote Hairy Potter (ok Harry), Woman that created SPANX (so Kirstie Alleys gut doesnt jiggle like JELLO), First Female Black billionaire that did all the Beauty Salons in the 50's, Creator of JET and other magazines, Jesse Jackson (worth 600 million bucks), Person who founded McDonalds, Foster Freiess (I think thats the jerks name ... financed Santorum) Adelson, Jay-Z, Puff Diddy, The Jacksons, Huntsmans, Marriotts, and a long list of others were POOR to middle class and became 1) Part of the 1% and 2) (cept Jesse Jackson and Jay-Z) Damned good employers that created millions of jobs.
Some of the 1% who inherited: Kennedys, DuPonts, Johnsons (Johnson and Johnson), Hearst, Gettys, Hiltons ... some good some not so good, most are Democrats and they pay zip in tax due to living off Family Tax Free Foundations.that club goer and
As for DUI's, Speeding, etc. C'mon the 99% do as much of not more. Do they get special treatment .. depends Puff Daddy/Diddy ... shot that club goer and zip, Paris Hilton has spent as much time in the DUI cell as most 99% ers, Lindsay Lohan (not so rich) more time ... yet Madoff ... jailed, and many Junk Bond, and Corp frauders allot of time ... and for what no one else would go to jail for Martha Stewart was jailed ... Not always fair but what is ... that said in thailand ... he will skate.
Bill Gates didn't start poor or middle class. Don't know about the rest of your list, but you didn't do the research.
Set him free! This is one of the "job creators"!
Yeah, running over some poor police officer and dragging him probably just created 2 or 3 more jobs for street cleaners, and a new police officer job!
So they tried to pay off the police to blame another person and destroy that innocent person's life? To my way of thinking this depraved corrupt wealthy person should serve the maximum sentence with enhancements for false witness. There is not much worse than using power to escape responsibility by causing others to suffer in your place. The corrupt cop should share a cell with this arrogant young punk.
This kind of police treatment of the rich seems to happen globally. I see corrupt cops are everywhere you go.
Without the current 1% we would have a new crop of 1%ers. I have no problem against being a 1% by earnign it. However if you look at the current crop of 1%ers, they come from 1% families as well.
Estate taxes should be higher, this kid didn't do anything but win the genetic lottery, same with Mitt Romney. If his name is Mitt Rodriguez and doesn't have his parents pay for Harvard and have all those family connections he'd just be some stooge that makes a decent living.
Why does the party of "we built that" and "personal responsibility" and "no handouts" endorse The Rich paying less in taxes, the rich being able to hand-out their fortune to their heirs with no taxes, heck they didn't build that, they inherited it. At the RNC convention they said that they want an America that it deosn't matter who you are born to or what your last name is, that's a crock. If they beloved that there should be a call for 95% estate tax on estates worth more than 100 million dollars. That will mean Junior has to prove himself capable and a nice 5 million headstart shouldn't hurt. We have an Aristocracy in this country, endowed not by God, but money. EVENTUALLY WE WILL HAVE A FEW FAMILIES THAT OWN EVERYTHING, THEN THEY TOO CAN GET THIS KIND OF TREATMENT.
Estate tax, the guy that earned it is dead, make his kids earn it too.
Hey Mike, your victim mentality is showing. How about you quit feeling like a sorry loser and spending your time wishing for success and actually do something productive with your life.
You make too much sense for the Republinazis, these lazy, entitled, wanabe Aristocrats are afraid that people like you might make them actually have to work for a living. The scum that killed that cop probably hires someone to wipe his rear. Well guess that makes him a job creator.
People like this 2save middle class creature think that by using misleading titles in their names and superpacs they can fool the weak minded into voting against their own best interests.
The Republican party has one goal, that is to keep lazy, entitled Wealthy kids like the monster who killed this cop and people like Paris Hilton wealthy so that they do not have to work like a common peasant.
The Republinazis like to say real Americans are just jealous of scum like this, but the truth is no one is jealous of a Corporate crook and tax cheat like Romney, wanting justice and fairness is hardly jealousy.
if romney was a tax cheat he would be convicted of tax evasion. mark your comments are really off base come up with something better than bashing 1% and romney go watch obama 2016 to find out who obama really is. obama is worth something like 11 million so he's a 1%
WTF! A guy hits and runs and you GOOFY people have it down to repub and dems. Blame everybody!
One poster says it is because Romney doesn't pay taxes. Get a life!
Remember David Cardin and the police calling his murder a suicide by twinning himself up and choking himself to death as a sexual perversion? You can be killed in Bangkok and no one will care except the "Tourist Ministry" who will cover it up.
Nobody said Romney committed any tax fraud--we just said what's he afraid of revealing? I mean all he has to do to shut us up is show us his tax returns. Ask yourself this question: Why doesn't he? Even his own father revealed 12 yrs of tax returns. What's Mitt afraid of?
Ask yourself this question, why do morons post comments about Mitt Romney when he has nothing to do with the article?
i don't speak their language, but im guessing this translates to;
i will pay em off.................
You don't have to translate. They exactly what they said.
When you have enough money, you can rise above the law. The law is to keep the little people under control. The rich may do as they please because "they earned it".
"When you have enough money, you can rise above the law."
I think perhaps it is "When you have enough money, you can MAKE the laws".
Hmmm, drunken driving, hit and run, wealthy heir, Bangkok Thailand.... I'd say his chances of getting off are pretty darn good. Money talks and Bull$hit walks, it's the nature of things.
No that's money talks and Red Bull walks.
Too bad about the police officer dying. Spoiled brat with a fast car and entitlement out the wha-zoooo.
As for this 1% argument and the incredibily insane statement made by Texas A & I, most if not all of the 1% have absolutely no direct involvement in creating better wages, providing quality benefits or growing a business with the best interest of community and country in mind, NOTHING!! Get over yourself. If in fact you were actually a 1% er with direct involvement in the things I just listed, you would not be making statements such as the one you just made. A true job creating 1% er would have more integrity and intelligence than to spout off like that.
When middle class folks work at good jobs, making things of value, they pay taxes and buy the things they make. For this country via "ecomomic globilization" to have gone so far away from what Henry Ford saw and understood nearly a century ago is just as sad as the fate of this unfortunate police officer.
Austin, the most intelligent and astute comment on this tragedy.
Right on Austin!
Just another spolied rich brat who thinks his money can buy anything. Hope he likes prison. Bet he he won't be anal retentive when he gets out...a real pretty boy...LOL
A guy is dead. That's more than simply cutting a check for a damaged motorcycle. I hope there was something lost in the translation, and they showed some regret for the guy who was killed.
Kudos to the chief who has some integrity.
Ha...the richest man in Thailand invented Red Bull. Who are the morons that drink that crap?
americans
I thought the stuff was created in Europe........I'm primarily a coffee drinker, but do sometimes opt for an cold energy drink on a hot day. I prefer Rockstar ( tastier, less expensive & a larger can )........but I have tried the Red Bull. It was the first energy drink I'd ever sampled ( in my late 40s at the time ).....and that was only because I'd entered & was chosen to participate in the Red Bull Flugtag San Francisco 2002 event. That 'thing' where you build a crazy homemade 'flying machine' & launch yourself off an elevated ramp & into a body of water. Red Bull sent me a couple of cases of the stuff, and so I checked it out. Seemed to work, but took a little getting used to that flavor. Mixes well with the vodka though.
EXACTLY! …LOL
And O.J. Simpson.
The original Krating Daeng (Red Bull) made and sold in Thailand is completely different than the Westernized drink now popular in Europe and the USA. That's how the old man got so rich in the first place was by selling his recipe to a European.
To save
Obviously you have never been to Asia or Thailand! Thailand is notorious for corruption as are many Asian countries. Bribes are a way of life. Most cops, politicians and judges are on the take. He WILL get away will this. The ONLY way he won't is if there is so much publicity from outside Thailand they have to do something! The Thai government did nothing about the illegal sex trade with minors (mostly girls as young as 6 or 7) until publicity and pressure from the outside forced them to do something. This is guy's family is rich. Unlike a 6 or 7 year old poor girl's family, they can buy a lot of cops, politicians and judges. If that is a privilege of being part of the 1%, I am glad I am part pf the other 99%!!!!!!!!!
Much worse crimes (against Thai police) have been committed by spoiled brat rich kids.
The son of a current high ranking politician shot a policeman in cold blood during an argument in a hotel nightclub.....he ran away to Cambodia, they finally dragged him back to Bangkok and he spent a few months in jail......unknown amount of money paid to the victims family......it's a totally different culture, you can't judge or compare it to Western values and standards.
You should only be able to leave your heirs their ability to get educated. No trust fund after college. These rich heirs are just parasites. They did NOT build it.
Disposable; income, cars, police, and criminal charges... must be nice to have the world by the balls.
Makes me wonder just how much a Sgt. Maj. is worth in Thailand. If I was his family I wouldn't settle for less than $50 million. No, make that a $100 million, as billionaires they can certainly afford it. And make sure the Officer investigating it is paid off also.
Didn't know you could get drunk on Red Bull !
That depends on what you mix it with.
Glad to see Lt. Gen. Comronwit Toopgrajank has integrity.
LOL. I woulda had to cut and paste his name! Good on them that have integrity. I hope the corrupt cop get's life. The kid should get time as well. Whomever in this family that tried to blame another for this tragedy should do more time than anyone!
I'm so rich I can do what ever I want and get a way with it.......This happens here in the US also, money talks and when you have alot......well you know the rest.
I wonder if he was DUI redbull?
Unfortunately the smug little puke will walk because he's very rich in a very poor country.
He better hope Red Bull "Gives you wings".
I would hope in the US the guy would spend time in jail if not a riot would break out who really knows what happen a friend of mine the other day git cut off by a sheriff texting while driving. most cops drive normaly but who knows in Bangkok could just be a typical accident or driving to fast for conditions
