I don't mind them protesting the garbage. I don't mind if Muslims here protest the garbage, but they should all understand what it is they are protesting against, and it isn't America. They are unhappy we can say pretty much whatever we want to here - and we're happy to have that right (they don't!). We learn to tell the difference b/w shlt and shinola, and how to ignore crap.

Where were you protesting when Anders Brevik performed his terrorist actions? As a matter of fact where are all the 'christians' of the world denouncing his activities? I saw none.

TV - Your comment makes no sense. First, there were peace rallies after Anders massacre. Second, there is no need to protest because there was no organized support for Brevik. He is obviously a psychotic, hateful, evil person that was widely condemned. That is exactly why the protests against America appear to be nothing more than an excuse to stoke violence.

I find it ironic that what these protests are really doing is stoking more anger towards Muslims, even if the majority of Muslims are non-radical and do not support violence. The fact that there is such a large contingent of Muslims, even if they are a minority, willing wish Death to America because of our guaranteed right of freedom of speech is the real issue. The moderate Muslims seem to be generally mute on this issue, probably for fear of retaliation if they speak out against the "vocal, violent minority".

Hi VT Bobb: I haven't finished reading your comment, and I'm already writing to say that I was thinking of saying something about the jab at Christians (then didn't), but the fact probably is true that many think "oh well" when 'one of them' gets dead - and, of course, some of "them" (Muslims) feel the same about an American (because we're infidels anyway or something like that). Anyway, he has a point about protesting. Heck, I'd get out and protest here with the Muslims against this 'production' and the people responsible for it. We could put a few of them in a hotel room overlooking the park where we'll gather. No rock throwing, and the only thing to go up in flames will be their faces burning in a mirror of effigy as we torch the dummy (Fire Department, etc., permission required). Sorry, no, we don't get to cut anybody's head off; and the world probably already knows they are fargin' iceholes - but it'd be nice to agree on something for a change.

I wonder if our government could send a form letter which says they officially ask for a continued 'American presence' to the current leader of every government containing a sizeable population of people who think the punishment of those behind this offensive video trailer should be beheadings. If we don't get it back with signature within a certain time-frame, we take the hint and leave. No hostility, just good-bye. Many Americans, my brothers included, seem to think that would be okay with them too. If the vast majority of us wanted that, would the bankers and corporations allow it?
