After being arrested and charged with murdering his girlfriend, Olympian Oscar Pistorius cried during his first court appearance Friday. Police say Reeva Steenkamp was shot four times with a pistol that is registered to Pistorius, and Pistorius' agent released a statement saying the murder is 'disputed in the strongest terms.' NBC's Michelle Kosinski reports.
Olympic and Paralympic star Oscar Pistorius sobbed as he appeared in a South African court Friday and was accused of the "premeditated" murder of his girlfriend.
The sprinter -- nicknamed "Blade Runner" because he races wearing carbon-fiber prosthetic blades after he was born without a fibula in both legs – is accused of killing model Reeva Steenkamp at his home in a Pretoria suburb early Thursday.
Pistorius disputes the accusations in "the strongest terms," according to a statement issued following the court appearance which said the runner sent "his deepest sympathies" to Steenkamp's family.
South African police said Thursday that Pistorius and Steenkamp, 30, were the only people in the house at the time of the shooting.
Oscar Pistorius, the superstar athlete who became the first double amputee sprinter to compete in the Olympics, is the sole suspect in the murder of law school graduate and famous South African model Reeva Steenkamp. NBC's Rehema Ellis reports.
Pistorius, 26, arrived at the court about two hours before the hearing that began at about 4:30 a.m. ET Friday.
As the hearing started, Pistorius kept his head down, cried and held his hands to his face. At times, he appeared confused.
"Take it easy. Come, take a seat," Reuters quoted Magistrate Desmond Nair as telling him.
A defense lawyer referred to his client’s “traumatised state of mind.”
Several of Pistorius’ family members were in the courtroom and also appeared emotional; one seemed distraught and others wept.
Prosecutors alleged the Olympic runner had committed "premeditated murder" and he was formally charged.
Pistorius was remanded in custody pending a bail hearing next week. An application by the media for the proceedings to be broadcast was rejected at the start of the hearing.
After the hearing, a statement issued by Pistorius' agent said: "The alleged murder is disputed in the strongest terms." It added:
"Oscar Pistorius has made history as an Olympic and Paralympic sportsman and has been an inspiration to others the world over. He has made it very clear that he would like to send his deepest sympathies to the family of Reeva. He would also like to express his thanks through us today for all the messages of support he has received - but as stated our thoughts and prayers today should be for Reeva and her family - regardless of the circumstances."
Citing a neighbor, the Afrikaans-language Beeld newspaper reported Friday that Pistorius shot his girlfriend four times through a bathroom door. NBC News could not independently verify the report, which was translated by Reuters.
Numerous media outlets reported Thursday that Pistorius may have mistaken the woman for an intruder, but police said neighbors had heard noises before the shots and that there had been previous "domestic" incidents at the house.
The athlete who rose to fame in London last summer as the first amputee runner in the Olympics has reportedly been arrested by South African police after his girlfriend was shot and killed in his home. NBC's Rohit Kachroo reports and NBC sports analyst Ato Boldon talks about the case, calling it an "absolute shock."
'Charming, great guy'
The couple had been dating for several months, and “seemed happy,” Steenkamp’s publicist Sarit Tomlinson told TODAY on Thursday. There was no sign of discord between the two, she said.
Tomlinson said that Pistorius was a “charming, great guy.”

According to her Facebook page, Steenkamp was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and raised in Port Elizabeth.
She earned a law degree at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University before moving to Johannesburg and earning a job as the South African face of cosmetics maker Avon.
Greg Stokell, headmaster of St. Dominic’s Priory school in Port Elizabeth, told South Africa's The Times newspaper that Steenkamp was “a vibrant, friendly, diligent, and motivated student who was popular with and respected by staff and peers alike.”
From an early age, "Reeva had the full support of her parents who encouraged her to maximize her strengths and abilities to achieve her dreams,” Stokell told the paper. “She set high goals for herself in everything she did and she consistently converted opportunities into success.”

A police officer holds a gun that was allegedly used in the shooting of Reeva Steenkamp, Oscar Pistorius' girlfriend.
Steenkamp was featured in men’s magazine FHM in December 2011, and named one of the publication’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World for two years in a row.
Pistorius battled for years to be allowed to compete against able-bodied athletes and was the first double amputee to run in the Olympics.
He qualified for the 400-meter semi-finals and 4 x 400-meter final at the London 2012 Summer Games.
His website highlighted that Pistorius ran in 11 races during the London 2012 Olympics and Paralymics and returned home with "two Paralympic gold medals, Paralympic silver, two world records, a Paralympic record, an Olympic individual semi-final and an Olympic final."
NBC's John Newland, Jason Cumming and Matthew DeLuca, Reuters and The Associated Press contributed to this report.
Pistorius, a double amputee born without fibulas in his legs, has trained hard to participate in the Olympics despite having to wear prosthetic legs. NBC's Mary Carillo reports.

I don't understand the point of covering his head as he goes into court - it's not as though anyone would have difficulty recognizing him....
It's called shame.
"But she dont understand they keep showing my hands and not my face on tv "
They were dating for several months and already there was domestic abuse, which led up to murder. People need to take their safety seriously.... if he/she hurts you and/or threatens you... get out!
"...Pistorius shot his girlfriend four times through a bathroom door..."
He couldn't even look into her eyes as he murdered her, how can you expect such a coward to face cameras, the judge, his family and most of all, his dead girlfriend's family?!
What always seems to get me is that when news like this involves a sports figure, the media always has to start reporting their stats and achievements towards the end of the story, like that all matters or maybe it makes up for their crime - ya, he did kill someone, but look at what a great and heroic athlete he was! Maybe we should just let him off the hook or at least be lenient on him.
Why on Earth was a beautiful model living with half a man?
What an ignorant question! JK - you have half a brain for asking that stupid of a question. Hard to believe you'd actually post that.
JK-4363698 There are a lot of men and women around the world that have lost limbs or are paralized due to injuries that they received fighting and defending this country so that you have the freedom of speech. Should someone not love you because it appears you are lacking a heart?
JK, I nearly chuckled, but stopped myself when I realized how mean that was! I guess under the circumstances, he deserves it, but does that make people with prosthetics who haven't commited murder "half people", too?
ShrewlyYours - You hurt my feelings saying I have half a brain. Hard to believe you actually posted that.
BeachBum - To answer your question: Absolutely Not!
No matter how pretty the woman, somewhere some one is tired of her $hit!
Maybe she had it coming? She was just using him to promote herself and had started abusing him and he snapped.
@JK- Why? Because she was clearly a good and decent person, who looked beyond mere phyiscal things -- and was twice the human being you have shown yourself to be here! To everyone else -- I was shocked to learn of this tragic event. From th little I had seen and knew of both of them --they both sems like nice, decent, attractive and inspirational people --both tryig achieve good things in their chosen fields and make a difference in the world in general. Then this happens. Just shows you "never know" what might really be going on in people's personal lives, behind closed doors -- -- I certainly hope the full and honest truth comes out and that justice is serviced in the end.
Industrial - wow, blaming the victim. I'm sure any real man out there would have put up with anything she dished out, she looked amazing and had her own lucrative modelling career and was well educated. She was not bootstrapping this athlete nobody heard of before last year's Olympics (which many still agree he should never have competed in the first place).
JK,
Karma dude. The man upstairs works in mysterious ways. What comes around, goes around...
Shrewly may only be half correct as in, you have a whole brain however, it seems you only use half at a time...

On another note, If the neighbors heard some kind of arguing earlier, sounds to me that she went into the bathroom to get away from him and he simply shot her through the door. That is, "If" shooting her through the door is true.
You guys know as well as I do that if you think someone broke into your house and they're in the bathroom, the "last" thing you would do is start shooting through the door until you at least know it's a burglar and not any other person.
So, you know we'd call 911 and stand just to the side outside of the door and call into the bathroom saying "I have a gun and the police are on their way" stay in there or I'll shoot!!!
Seems this guy is guilty as hell man...
gm Creek Dog
Agreed. One of the rules of responsible gun ownership is not only to clearly identify at what (or whom) you are shooting, but also what (or whom) else is in the line of fire.
Half a man for murdering his girlfriend because she wanted out of the relationship, or a man with half a brain for, oooooops - "mistaking" his girlfriend for an intruder after shooting her FOUR times? And then coming up with this cockamamie "burglar" story??????
Hmmmmmmm.
It sure begs THAT question, doesn't it?
Most of you have already tried, convicted and executed this man. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?
This is not America....
Not to mention, he did this a day or two ago and is already in court.
In America, you sit in prison for months before you go to court...
If you're proved guilty, your life and career are over.
If you're proved innocent, your life and career are "still" over....
Creekdog....have I ever told you that I think your posts are always pretty intelligent and filled with common sense. It's kind of refreshing to run across such consistency on these message boards.
Speaking of intelligent and common sense......
"According to her Facebook page, Steenkamp was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and raised in Port Elizabeth."
REALLY, they are using facebook now to report news?????
He's a lying murderer and a coward, period. Hope his cellmate is his ultimate karma.
Can't anyone wait to see what forensics says?
FYI, you sometimes charge murder one, so that later, when complete forensics are in, you have an option to bargain. Even if the case is more of a manslaughter case.....
If he shot through the door of a bathroom which does not lead through an outside window to the exterior of the house he is a cooked goose and should get the book thrown at him. If it is true the neighbors heard fighting before it happened that may cook him. Four shots is hate filled if you are shooting at someone you know. We can speculate all we want we just have to wait for the real evidence to come out. Cops can see by most scenes what transpired.
differnet...you do realize this is not taking place in the US right?
"Innocent until proven guilty" means that he cannot be incarcerated without a proper trial - it doesn't mean we are idiots and have to believe someone is "innocent" until after the verdict, despite what the evidence indicates. They were the only two in the house- I'm sure they did a GSR, and the neighbors heard "sounds" (probably too polite to say he was beating her again) - and I've lived long enough to have seen this situation many, many times. This guy is perpetually pi**ed off because of his disability, I can see it in his eyes, the anger and resentment, and whatever happened, she likely had some good news in her career, and he was afraid of losing her as she moved up the ladder - so, he destroyed her.
sparklystar
No but greatly appreciated. Have a nice weekend...
CD
I understand you but, what's it going to say?! 4 shots to the body and head?!
Also, you're insinuating that we all "not" post our thoughts as to what we think happened but, isn't this what the Vine is for?!
It's almost like, "OK" who was the closest to what really happened that night. Basically, fun, and somewhat, a hobby. Enjoy.........
Take care...
testimony from neighbor/s must be key in determining premeditation. can't imagine, thoughts and prayers to both families. and i agree, steroid rage could be a factor.
Another typical sociopath. One of the identifying signs of most socio's is that they are charming and good looking and very manipulating and they try to fool everyone around them. But watch out what happens behind closed doors. He is just another coward that should have shot himself and left the innocent one alive. I recommend a great book: The Sociopath Next Door. You will recognize all the signs and then be able to stay away from these nutcases. And there are a lot of them out there.
Some of these posts are pretty mean-spirited. Why are you calling him a half-man? It is not the physical appearance that makes a person. It is his soul, his spirit, his mind, his personality that makes a person. I don't know if he is guilty or not because I was not there. But regardless, some of you are showing your lack of intelligence by saying such mean things about him or about any person with a physical disability.
Shots through the bathroom door....who says that he was not the one inside the bathroom and shot out of it when he heard noises. That would go well with his story. However, if he was outside and shot into the bathroom through the door, he'd be hard pressed for an explanation. The headline says "premeditated". Either the press is wrong or the police knows more than they are telling. To determine premeditation you have to have something pretty substantial to go on. Either way, people have to wait it out until a final verdict has been made in court. Could go the way of O.J. though. Who knows right now.
People should not idolize Sports Stars--This one, Pistorious, was another serial Abuser to women, then the ultimate end, murder--Yes, Innocent, before proven guilty--?
Many Professional/Olympic Athletes have underlying mental problems, much like Star Celebrites---notice all the abuse, murders from our own Big League Players in he United States recently. It's the WIN at all costs that counts, not the personal background of the Team Player.-----
Teach your kids, Professional Athletes are just "people" doing their job for their entertainment. There is a lot of money in their Sport for themselves, and future Ad Endorsements--they don't deserve it.
I would be asking why the hell he had a gun in the bathroom.
It APPEARS they had a "5Month Affair", Being a Beautiful Woman she had Many Options with other Men and she was going that route. He got foolish with the "If I can't have You, NO MAN can" BUT we Do NOT Know Yet. TIME WILL TELL.. More Facts To Come without a doubt.
Mike is right.. it's one of those biologically-defined gestures that we all do. We cover our faces when we feel shame.
Does anybody know what his motive was supposed to be?
This story makes me very sad for many reasons. No doubt there are a lot of complicated human issues behind all of it. I'll hold my full judgment until more information is released, since it's very hard to make a sound judgment based solely on initial press releases especially when you don't know the people involved. It seems that sometimes people tend to make judgments based more on their own experiences than on what information is actually presented in these cases-also that sometimes a case seems to look a certain way at the beginning but that as more information comes out we find out that in reality things were quite different (or at least the press presents it that way). I'm not saying that is true in this case, just that it has happened in the past.
In my opinion it's quite all right for people to state their opinions about this-that's what this forum is for. I'm just choosing not to decide anything about what happened since I wasn't there and I'm not sure I have enough info to decide-only that the whole thing is very tragic and that it makes me very sad. As a physical therapist, I was really cheering for Pistorius and very happy for all his accomplishments on behalf of all people who are disabled. The thing is that human beings are very complicated-we all are. Pistorius could be a very accomplished Olympic athlete AND a killer at the same time. His athletic awards would still be what they are, but his murder would still be murder. No one knows all there is to know about any of us-the human experience is not all black or white, and that's what's scary. If people were all either strictly villains or heroes, I think we would all feel safer-but they aren't, WE aren't. We want to shove people into those categories, but they rarely fit neatly into one or the other. We'd like to fit into the best category, obviously, but we don't always fit either. It's that tension and that dichotomy that has shaped human history. I don't think I really look forward to finding out more about this-it will likely be a terrible story from start to finish.
I'm going to wait and get all the facts before I say "he's innocent" or "he's guilty".
Honestly though, this is the first time I have heard of this tragedy. I feel bad for her family regardless of the outcome.
I don't know whether or not there was domestic abuse, again I lack enough info to draw a definitive conclusion and this could change when the info becomes available, but if there was: I hope it comes out in the wash. Nobody deserves abuse and nobody gets my respect if they do.
Have they found this man guilty already, seems a lot of folks on the vine has.
My understanding is that she was shot 4 times. If so, I believe that that is beyond the line of reasonable force.
I find it rather amazing how many people don't understand that justice in other countries, as well as burden of proof, etc is just not the same as here in America. The South African justice system is not the same as ours. They have different rules, punishment, etc. This will be an interesting case to follow.
...probably the most important part on that half was in good working order. :)
Jokes aside. I was wondering how he could shoot her through a bathroom door with such precision, they don't usually come with glass panes so that one could see inside. But the article makes no mention of how many shots were fired.
@mmm mmmm beer,
just because someone looks amazing, has a lucrative career and is well educated doesn't mean one can live in the long term with anything the other chooses to "dish out". to survive, relationships must have some semblance of balance.
and when that kind of relationship becomes unlivable as it will inevitably become, you go your separate ways like mature adults. it's just that simple. painful, but simple.
i believe when your ego tends to tell you that you own others, and they owe you, then you have the outcome that we see with oscar.
Yes shame...........But I do not understand why she ....with high aspiration in life did not see the incompatibility with the young man ,that obviously his handicap will just stir jealousy in their life.
Her as a model ,with so many comments how beautiful she is ..........HIM.........No should have not get together in a first place .Too bad she had taken her parents advice in everything else......but in most important NOT .I'm not making his handicap obvious ,but he should have lower his standards ,they weren't compatible .
Every sac has it's own patch .
I'm so sorry for her parents ,RIP youg lady ,no parent should go through this, same with his .........
Setting appart the fact that he killed her, what a shallow thing to say that He should have lowered her standards because he was handicapped! Really??? so Anyone who is handicapped should be with only handicapped people because they are out of their league? "Ugly people" should only date other "ugly people"? I truly hope you don't have any children so you are not someone setting the example for future generations.
Handicapped people can live very fulfilling lives and don't turn to murder for jealousy of non handicapped.
What an idiotic comment.
Yeah, my girlfriend is not all that hot, I'm smokin,' yet we get along fine! Hope she doesn't see this...
Hey Bambi, go find thumper!
And who's to say she wasn't using him for publicity for her career? After all, despite her law degree, Steenkamp seemed to be pursuing fame fairly eagerly, even appearing in a "men's magazine" in 2011. No one knows what goes on between two people behind closed doors. I believe in fully vetted gun ownership, but it's not a good thing to have one so handy at such times. Who would have expected someone like Pistorius to snap in this way?
We like to have heroes and most of the mass-media is so in love with ideas of heroes that doesn't present the facts for us to see. Worse, people now follow all kind of celebrities on Twitter and Facebook and believe what they are told so easily!
In this case, why people called Pistorius a hero? What did he do to qualify for that status? Yes, he was an inspiration for people with disabilities, but his efforts and achievements were manly to helping himself. And yes, it may sound bad, but in the end he wasn't the great personality that media made him to be, and now we find things about him that show he wasn't that nice of a person, even at the Olympics. It is not probably nice to say the he should have been lowered his standards but the implications of a relationship between these two people should have been carefully weighted out, especially by her. If he wasn't made into the celebrity everyone knew, their paths would never have crossed. In the end this is just a sad story, like many others, happening at times in the world.
Bambi your an A-Hole you troll.
Write when you improve your English. No language skills, no credibility.
Not so, Bambi. But you'd have to be a bigger person than you are to understand why you're wrong.
Yeah, it's like why couldn't anyone read the signs that this guy was a psychotic killer? I mean, handicapped Olympic champions are the nuttiest people out there. :P
Or...
Maybe he made her pinky promise that if she ever told anyone what a jerk he was he would blow her brains out. :P
Or....
Maybe she actually DID know tried to tell someone and they didn't believe her? I mean, seriously, people may not have believed she was being battered because he was handicapped.
With all due respect Bambi, you have no idea what you're talking about. Other than showing what a shallow idiot you are, the guy is SA's most well known (and before this, well loved) athletes. He gave inspirational lectures, used in posters worldwide for T&F, the Olympics and World Championships. Made history in the London Olympics and left with a standing ovation. No one's heard of his gf outside of SA. The news sites had to get her info from her FB page. He has more notoriety than her, more money than her, more endorsements than her. If we were to look at things from your point of you, you're right, they weren't compatible, she was out of his league.
I needed to point that out to show how ridiculous your statement was. If you don't know anything about the subject matter, do a little research before making such asinine comments. That being said, a bright beautiful woman has just died a horrible and tragic death. Try to keep it on point.
And never, I repeat, NEVER procreate. Until then STFU.
the guy wanted to be on top. he should have go for someone that is more a bit lower than his former on. knowing that things might change cos that girl was beautiful enough to hang out the most able man with fat pocket. only some months or six months. what kind of useless love is that?
Bambi, I hope you've lowered your standards, and found a person with half-a-brain whose English skills are as bad as yours. You don't deserve anyone with a full brain.
saysomething, please change your name to saynothing and keep it that way for your own sake, because what you posted is a comprehension headache.
It is possible the end came after she rejected him but that is just another what if...
bambi, based on your thinking and deductions, only people of limited intelligence would date you, right? We don't want intelligent people in this world lowering their standards now do we?
saysomething...I am going to save myself some time and just ask you to read the above and hope you realize that it also refers to you.
@nico - great post!
Roid Rage?
Roid rage and guns are a bad mix.
Maybe she called him "Stumpy".
"Oh, and your legs are short too".
gm stonepipe
How could you say that to someone whose unit hits the floor when they are standing up?
GM Bill. Hope you are having a great morning. GM Creek and the usual suspects.
To bad it was a nice looking lady.
It would have made it better if she was ugly?
Another rich, famous idiot that's totally screwed up his life... Go figure..
True, but:
Pistorius battled for years to be allowed to compete against able-bodied athletes and was the first double amputee to run in the Olympics.
He qualified for the 400-meter semi-finals and 4 x 400-meter final at the London 2012 Summer Games.
His website highlighted that Pistorius ran in 11 races during the London 2012 Olympics and Paralymics and returned home with "two Paralympic gold medals, Paralympic silver, two world records, a Paralympic record, an Olympic individual semi-final and an Olympic final."
Shouldn't all of that count for something? Shouldn't he receive a lesser judgement from the courts because of all of his accomplishments? He's not a regular guy like most of us who would and obviously deserve the full penalty of the law. He's one of the elite, celebrities, rich and famous who have earned the right to not be judged the same as the rest of us. I mean, ya, he's not a football quarterback who could get away with murder more easily, but his sports record deserves something, right?
Not in the least.
khankubla, that's sarcasm right? LOL...cute.
looks like he's guilty but all the evidence needs to come out first, but if he is, he should be convicted and serve the rest of his life in prison no matter who he was or what he has accomplished, after all he took the life of a young woman with her whole life ahead of her, who had accomplished much in her short life.
Khan! You are kidding. And, since P is physically deficient on one end (no legs) he should become physically deficient on opposite end..NO HEAD.
NOW he doesn't have a leg to stand on! Guess he couldn't just walk away
That is what he does with all the trust and faith people had in him and all the chances he got. All the determination he had to get those chances showed a strong mind.
These people put themselves out there to be an inspiration to others and then can't seem to understand that responsibility. What a waste!
I choose to wait until whatever information comes in that we are allowed to know before I get the noose.
That's good Jonboy. That's American. Is he presumed innocent in South Africa? This including the information in other articles, does sort of look like he isn't going to prove he is innocent.
Same here, Jonboy. South Africa is one of the most violent and murder-happy nations on earth, and their criminal justice system is about as corrupt as they come in developed nations. I'm betting that there's a lot we haven't been told (and I'm even questioning what we have been told - the info we have thus far argues against premeditation), so I'm not making any judgments just yet.
I'm not fully convinced that it was premeditated or even murder. How many people who PLAN to kill another person sob hysterically in court? Then again, he could just be a good actor. Either way, what a sad situation.
Reason it's premeditated is, she was behind a bathroom door. When he went to get his gun he planned to use it. And he did.
You can commit premeditated murder and sob in court. Maybe he realizes he threw away his life, maybe he regrets what he did or maybe he is a good actor.
Also, remember, its a different system and they may have very different standards on murder, premeditation and the level of evidence to prove something.
I believe the SA courts are based on the Dutch system and I do not know if it is guilty til you prove innocence or the other way around. I know they have a tiered system that resembles the US court system for the appeals process but as for matters like this I have no idea how a person accused is thought of.
Crimminal law is British based as is U.S. law. I would think this would be innocent until proven guilty.
How about stupid until proven otherwise?
Condolences to the family and friends of the victim. She didn't deserve that.
Im having a real hard time believing his story. Shot 4 times, that doesn't sound like an accident. That's someone who is angry and wants to make sure. As for premeditated, naaaa. I think they fought, he was enraged, so he grabbed his gun and shot her repeatedly. If it was premeditated, he wouldn't have done it there where his neighbors could hear. This has "angry" written all over it.
There is no excuse or justification for domestic violence. And certainly not murder. If hes found guilty, I hope he never gets out, ever.
PS: If it was an accident, and he thought it was an intruder, he should still be charged with manslaughter. And regardless, hes an idiot who shouldnt have a gun, no matter what the truth here is. A walking hazard.
I think it would be safe to assume she locked herself in the bathroom to escape an act of physical violence, she wouldn't open the door, hence the lead knocking. His next excuse his scumbag lawyer will be the diarrhea conundrum. There was no accident/intruder.
Premeditation can be one second before he killed her. It doesn't have to be days or hours. It sounds like she was in the bathroom to try to get away from him and he went and got his handgun. If he shot the door open and then went into the bathroom to shoot her - if it wasn't that bullets that he shot THROUGH the door hit her - then they may prove premeditation.
I want to believe that he thought it was an intruder but, I don't know of any instances where someone breaks into your house and takes time to use the bathroom.
LOL, Captain! Maybe he thought the intruder came in through the bathroom window.
I don't recall the media saying what side of the bathroom door he was on. Was he in the bathroom and shot out or was he in the bathroom shooting out? Either way he must have squeezed that trigger pretty quick to hit a person on the other side of a door 4 times before that person hit the floor.
Bob fu-your post makes no sense. And the person who said that was a neighbor. No confirmation.
The media might only be assuming that Reeva was the one locked in
the bathroom. Maybe Oscar was locked in the bathroom and shot out
into the hallway at an intruder.
He's going to wish his entire lower body was mechanized after the first few days in prison.
He'll be ok in prison remember he can run fast. He could also sharpen his legs and make 2 big shanks.
At least Lance didn't kill.
...that we know of!
Hey! Stop busting his ball!
hahahah
You can run, but you can't hide.
He doesn't have a leg to stand on. But don't worry folks, he'll be back on his knees in no time. I love this crowd.
Art, will you be performing here all week?
lmao!
I don't think his defense will stand up in court.
This is very sad because I do believe that his intention was to kill her and while he tried to make it look like an accident, it didn't fly and now he is headed to prison for what he did. As for his life on the inside, I suspect that he is going to have his challenges because when he gets there he might as well have the words "Fresh Meat" painted on his back because the local population is going to have the welcome wagon out to greet him.
He shot her cause she had a leg up on him, oh I meant to say two legs up on him. I love this crowd
Hey Art. Are you cranked up?
I think he was tired of her trying to play footsie with him.
She had 'two legs up on him' from the very beginning of their relationship.
I heard he used a sawed off. I love this crowd
He really didn't mean to kill her, he thought he was using a starter pistol. I love this crowd!!!
He killed her because he couldn't stand-----------------------------------------------for it anymore. I love this crowd
Art D enough of your silly jokes. At this stage we can determine this to be Cold Blooded murder. The police responded to a call by neighbors so he was going to try hide the body. This is sick. Being wealthy is not equal being a model citizen.
There is no way he could've thought she was an intruder because they were heard arguing at 2am by neighbors.
I believe he has a small pecker. During their argument she mentioned his tiny pecker and the fact the he ain't got no legs. He lost it, HOOK LINE AND SINKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DjKayslay, how, at this stage could you honestly conclude it was cold blooded murder? I can think up numerous different scenarios where it could have been an accident. I dont know how they plan to prove premeditation. I cant even see a motive, beyond verbal abuse from her to him, or infidelity. Neither of which have come up yet. I would, at this point, call it a crime of passion, or an accident.
This guy made a very poor decision in choosing a girlfriend. I love this crowd!!!!!
@Art D
So did Travis Alexander with Jodi Arias
So did Kurt Cobain with Courtney Love, except it was the girl who shot the dude in that one....just saying...
Maybe just maybe, what he says is true. Maybe he's covering his face because the world was looking and most men don't want to be seen crying. I find it interesting that she was tweeting about how excited she was about Valentines day and yet everyone thinks that he meant to kill her. Obviously she was not afraid. Yes there may have been domestic disturbances, but who knows, maybe that was just a loud shouting match and nosey neighbors called. Haven't we all had a shouting match or two? I find it disgusting that previous comments like she shouldn't have been with him because he was disabled and she was beautiful. THAT kind of thinking right there in my opinion, is part of what is wrong with OUR country. My daughter was murdered by her boyfriend at the age of 22 and if ( I )can say...."maybe"......I think you people that are just trying to get a laugh on here....are pitiful. If indeed he is guilty, ok take your punishment young man ~ but ( what if )?
I don't get that either. He's very attractive! Maybe it's mostly men wondering why a model was with him.
Debra...I am SO sorry for your loss!!! and I agree with you on some of these comments, not a place or time for them, this is horrible, for anyone, that this happens to!
I do feel there are warnings to things like this (IF in deed they find he IS guilty of this)....
Debra
I agree. Maybe he knows, no matter what he says, people will condemn him. I feel bad for the guy at this point, but will quickly cease too, should evidence prove him guilty.
A lot of this makes no sense. Why would he shoot her like that, especially considering their rocky relationship, and history of police visits to their home. He would certainly know that he would immediately be suspect number one.
They mention prior police visits for domestic violence, yet site no arrests, or injuries, or who was the abused, or being abused. They dont even say who made the calls.
There has been no release of where she was shot, both on her body, or where in the home.
His hysteria, and general reaction to all this seems right on for someone who is innocent of murder, but will be hard pressed to prove it.
I shall withhold my judgements until further evidence has been presented.
He won the gold medal and she got the lead medal. I love this crowd!!!!
That should be Lead Metal
@Art I bet he'd give his left/right leg to have those bullits back!.....Try the veal and remember to tip your servers!!!
Very sad. 2 young, talented and good looking people dead and ruined. Another reason to separate and go your separate ways when signs of conflict begin. I feel bad for both families and hope they'll be able to accept the reality of this tragedy and resume their lives. Very sad indeed.
The big question is, does he lose his endorsements over this? I love this crowd!!!
Did he have an endorsement for Rust Proofing?
Art, will you be performing here all week?!?!
Too bad the borscht belt isn't around anymore !
How true the man's words were. He is human. We all have the capacity to commit murder. Just like we all have the capacity to steal, lie , commit adultery and so on the rest of the commandments. Any one who says they are not accountable will do all of them wrong and they do. Capital Hill is full of hypocrites. We all know that the high powers in the world commit most if not all of these commandments and they do it without regard of the people of the USA and the world but most important they do it against God. Don't care if the God haters don't like what I say but it still is the truth. Not because I say so. God says so.
