What about Palestinians? Israeli coalition may be hard-pressed to answer

Ronen Zvulun / Reuters

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signed his first coalition partner in centrist Tzipi Livni, a move that could get a nod of approval from peace activists and U.S. President Barack Obama. But how cohesive any message of peace will be depends largely on the makeup of the rest of the coalition.

News analysis

TEL AVIV -- In the Middle Eastern bazaar, the first sale of the day is prized beyond any other. It is called the “siftach,” and to clinch the deal the seller gives a discount to the buyer, to launch a good day’s business.

In the case of the agreement announced Wednesday between Likud Beitenu leader Benjamin Netanyahu and Tzipi Livni, leader of  “Hatnua” (Movement) to join a coalition government, Netanyahu was desperate to get one of the several political parties he is negotiating with to be the first to reach agreement.

So to entice Livni to sign, he sweetened his offer to include what Livni dearly wanted: the role of chief peace negotiator with the Palestinians, in addition to the guarantee of the post of justice minister for her and the post of minister of the environment for another member of her party.

Her brief in a new Netanyahu government, then, would be to launch a new peace process with the Palestinians, according to the published agreement, “with the aim of reaching a settlement with them that will put an end to the conflict.”

The significance of this is that the responsibility passes from the foreign minister, who loudly proclaimed that he did not believe in peace with the Palestinians, to Livni, who does.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is still in charge, but he may no longer be Israel's most consequential politician. The Daily Rundown's Chuck Todd takes a "deep dive" into the new face of Israeli politics, Yair Lapid.

In addition to being the first step toward forming Netanyahu’s third government, it allows him to send a signal to U.S. President Barack Obama, expected in Israel on his first state visit next month, that he is serious about moving toward peace and that Obama should support him; Netanyahu’s relationship with Obama is famously fraught.

What this means in practice, however, is far from clear. It depends on who else joins Netanyahu and Livni in building a coalition government. Pundits expect Netanyahu to focus his attention next on the Labor party, as well as a couple of the religious Jewish parties, and only then to go for broke -- to offer a role to the two young newcomers, one on the left and one on the right, who have surprisingly found common cause.

The question: Can Netanyau pull off a brilliant ploy and form a government without the second- and third-largest parties, Yair Lapid’s ‘Yesh Atid’ (There is a Future) and Naftali Bennett’s Bait Hayehudi (Jewish Home)?

Or is it so brilliant? When the voters speak clearly and give the second- and third-largest number of votes to two new parties with new leaders and a large majority of new members of parliament, shouldn’t this call for change be reflected in any new government?

The problem is, and this brings us back to Livni’s role as peace negotiator, Bennett and Lapid, who agree on many social and economic issues, could not be further apart on the central question: What about the Palestinians? Bennett is absolutely clear: No Palestinian state. Lapid is with Livni.

So is there a real change in the Israeli government’s position vis a vis peace talks? As always, Netanyahu is hard to read. Does he really want Livni to take Israel down the road to compromise and peace? Or does he just want to form a new government so badly that he will offer any enticement to make it happen?

Cynics argue the latter. Some others believe that maybe a miracle is at hand.

And as Israel’s first president, David Ben Gurion, once said: To be a pragmatist in Israel, you have to believe in miracles.

The reality is that there will not be any peace for a very long time because the Palestinian leadership does not really want it. The Palestinian leadership needs the evil Israelis to point to and blame for the fact that the Palestinians have no meaningful economy and live in horrible conditions despite the fact that they already have a large degree of self rule. If there were to be peace, the Palestinian leadership would lose their boogie-man that they blame for all the ills of the Palestinian people. Then the people would realize that their leadership is completely inept and throw them out on their asses. In order to maintain their control, the current Palestinian leadership needs the enemy of Israel to point to and blame for everything that is wrong. Every time in the past that they have started to get close to a peace deal, the Palestinian leadership has added new demands that they knew the Israelis would never agree to. At one point the Israelis offered the Palestinians almost everything they asked for, including 97% of the land they were asking for. The deal never came about because the Palestinian leadership promptly started asking for even more land. The other reason that there will not be peace anytime soon is that Hamas refuse to even recognize that Israel has a right to exist. When one of the two main factions in Palestinian politics has such an extreme stance. there is really no hope for negotiating a peace. Until either Hamas is killed off or the Palestinian people throw them out of their leadership role, there is absolutely no hope for peace.

Palestinian officials to US ahead of Obama visit

the Palestinian Authority announced Sunday that two high-ranking officials would fly to Washington to update the administration about the PA’s stance regarding negotiations with Israel.

Top Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat and Mohammed Eshtaya, a member of the PA’s negotiating team, will meet with Kerry, who took office earlier this month, and present him with the Palestinian conditions to resume negotiations with Israel: an end to construction in Jewish settlements, and the release of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails.

Actually it's Nut -tan -yahoo that doesn't want peace. As long as he desire a Palestinian state in which Israel controls their borders and has the right to enter whenever they want too, it's never going to happen. Why can't they just do ahead and attack Iran, so the cards can be reshuffled. It would be much different after the bombs land in both Israel and Iran. This game has been going on for too long.

If say Canada or Mexico were to do the same to the U.S. we would have leveled there area and totally removed the enemy. Now you say the problem is the Israelis, that just shows how out of touch you really are. the eternal question. If there was a good answer somebody would have figured it out by now. Unfortunately, alll of the possible solutions put people in a position they're not comfortable with. Usuallly the reason they're uncomfortable is all sides have managed to paint themselves into a corner- one of the negative byproducts of bluster and posturing. The problem over there is two fold. First, Israel will never give up their capital to a people that in reality have no historical claim to the city. Also the last time the city was controlled by a Arab nation (Jordan), all Jewish people were cut off from visiting their holy sites and even to this day the Arabs throw a temper tantrum if a Jewish person dares to go visit their most holy site (temple mount). For all the bluster we have heard since the city has been under Israeli rule religious freedom has not been shut down in any way except maybe for the Jewish population because they can not visit their most holy site.

Also, the facts that Israel is building the settlement on land that is unoccupied is really a non issue. As in Gaza and the West Bank and in the Sinai Peninsula the Israeli's forced the settlers to move out (some were carted off forcefully) when agreements were reached. In the end you most likely will find a land swapped by both sides and I honestly do not see any way Israel will give up their capital. The only settlement that might be acceptable is to make Old Jerusalem a free city and have it controlled by the UN, but then looking at the UN I have seen nothing but the fact that they will condemn Israel for attacking Rocket launching sites while ignoring the actual fact that they did attack to shut down the sites after hundreds of rockets were fired by it. So I honestly do not think Israel trust's the UN, and personally do not blame them.

Last we have to look at what has happened historically. Every time Israel has given up land to the Palestinian population all they have ever gotten in return is to be attacked. I have to feel that even if in the end Palestinians are given their own country and Jerusalem stays under Israeli control they sooner or later will militarily try to move in to take the city. Until Israel is given assurances that a Palestinian government will not start hostilities or be able to do so in the future then I do not think there will be peace. As long as Ha-mas is in any position of power then there is no way there can be peace when their very charter calls for the destruction of the Jewish state.

Every one seems to love to point the finger at Israel but it seems like they equally have short memory (or at least selective) because you will hear calls of aggression while the same people ignore why Israel is reacting. Just a couple of weeks ago Israel went into Syria and destroyed top line sams going to Hezbollah and in the same attack most likely destroyed chemical weapons research and production plants. But then with Al Quida and other radical Muslim elements fighting to overthrow Syria I do not think any Arab country wants them to have control of these weapons. In the end this will most likely be what expands the war is because Arab nations or Israel will destroy them before the people get a hold of these weapons and then use them either on Arab governments or Israel. You can threaten a nation state with massive attacks but sadly this means nothing at all to a terrorist.

It's not about peace it's not about land. The Palestinians have been offered peace and they were given land (Gaza). Meanwhile the Palestinians do not recognize Israel. I will say that Abbas's West Bank seems more open to negotiation. Forget about Hamas lead Gaza. The negotiations should only be with Fatah and Abbas in the West Bank. And Israel cannot give up any of Jerusalem.

Here is the unvarnished truth. The land now called Israel, belonged to and should be returned to the people who were living there in 1946. European Jews have no more right to that land than me. Jerusalem belongs to the Arabs. It was never a part of the original deal which made Israel a Jewish state.

    “In violation of international law,
Israel has confiscated over 52 percent of the land in the West Bank and 30
percent of the Gaza Strip for military use or for settlement by Jewish
    civilians...From 1967 to 1982, Israel’s military government demolished 1,338
Palestinian homes on the West Bank. Over this period, more than 300,000
Palestinians were detained without trial for various periods by Israeli
security forces. “Intifada: The Palestinian Uprising Against Israeli
    Occupation,” ed. Lockman and Beinin.

World opinion on the legality of Israeli control of the West Bank and Gaza.

“Under the UN Charter there can
lawfully be no territorial gains from war, even by a state acting in
self-defense. The response of other states to Israel’s occupation shows a
virtually unanimous opinion that even if Israel’s action was defensive, its
retention of the West Bank and Gaza Strip was not...The [UN] General Assembly
characterized Israel’s occupation of the West Bank and Gaza as a denial of self
determination and hence a ‘serious and increasing threat to international peace
and security.’ “ John Quigley, “Palestine and Israel: A Challenge to
    Justice.”

This quote from Dayan tells it all.

    "For eight
years now, they have sat in the refugee camps of Gaza and have watched how,
before their very eyes, we have turned their lands and villages, where they and
their forefathers previously dwelled, into our home." General Moshe Dayan,
    Israeli military hero - 1956

    Ralph,

Your argument has no merit since the organization's laws you are yelling about is the same organization that gave the land back to the inhabitant's who's people were forced out of the land by ancient Rome.

So you might wish to find laws that actually agree with what you are saying and not just cut and paste what you find convenient.

Also if you are going to quote a Israeli leader you might wish to quote in the whole. This leader stated before that the enemies who attacked the state with intent to destroy her after being offered the right to share power together left their villages and homes after they lost the war.

TBenton - Newsflash: The West bank was never a part of that partition. The entire concept of taking Arab land and giving it to European Jews was a colossal mistake, which never should have occurred. The land taken belonged to the people who farmed the land, not to any government.

Prior to 1947, almost the entire area belonged to Arabs alone. There were some Jews, but they were a minority. The deal the Arabs were offered, was if they would recognize Israel's right to take half of eveything they owned, they could have peace. Wow, such a deal. Would you take that deal, if you were an Arab? I sure as hell wouldn't. I would fight for what was mine.

Guess what, Arabs also lived in what is now called Israel in the time of the Romans. They stayed and the Jews relinquished their land by leaving. A thousand years ago, might made right. In today's world, countries are supposed to be governed by international laws, which apply to all countries. Israel ignores those laws, because they are a nation of takers, parasites and thieves.

. "The thesis that the danger of genocide was hanging over us in June
1967 and that Israel was fighting for its physical existence is only bluff,
which was born and developed after the war."

Israeli General Matityahu Peled, Ha'aretz, 19 March 1972.

"We must use terror, assassination, intimidation, land confiscation,
and the cutting of all social services to rid the Galilee of its Arab
    population."

    Israel Koenig, "The Koenig Memorandum"

That is exactly what the Jews have done to the Arabs, who lived peacefully in the area since the time of the Romans. Since the Jews came and took their land, there has been nothing but terror and killing. It is mostly the Arabs who have been killed. Again, see above:

"Jewish villages were built in the place of Arab villages. You do not
even know the names of these Arab villages, and I do not blame you because
geography books no longer exist. Not only do the books not exist, the Arab
villages are not there either. Nahlal arose in the place of Mahlul; Kibbutz
Gvat in the place of Jibta; Kibbutz Sarid in the place of Huneifis; and Kefar
Yehushua in the place of Tal al-Shuman. There is not a single place built in
this country that did not have a former Arab population."

Moshe Dayan, address to the Technion, Haifa, reported in
    Haaretz, April 4, 1969.

Right FTB, Jews lived in the area 3000 years ago and so diid the Arabs. Like I said, the Jews left and the Arabs stayed. That is all we have to know. Please recite any law which says your decendants can come back to claim land that was abandoned 3000 years ago. How would they know exactly which piece of land belonged to them. If they own a certain piece of land, let them produce a deed. I am willing to bet, not one Russian Jew can trace his geneology to any place in what is nor called Israel.

The Russians are fair skinned and Palestinian Jews are dark skinned. There is no relationship.

In short, the Jews in Israel are thieves and murderers, taking land that does not belong to them. They are also parasites, who have been sucking the blood of American taxpayers for decades.

For over 2000 years, Arabs kept coming and going. They hadn't built any civilization in the area until Middle Ages. Jews, on the other hand, built a civilization in the area. That is what it really means having a country.

Jews never left completely, they always kept coming back to their land, and they were always kicked out.

You might be surprised how many European Jews can trace their lineage all the way to Israel. Although it is worst with paperwork, since your fellow pogromshiki did their best to destroy any proof of Jewish existence.

All the stuff about skin is irrelevant. The genetics of Arabs and Jews are similar. Jews are just as endogenous to Holy Land as Arabs. They were willing to share, but Arabs refused and started this pointless war. Now they suffer the consequences they deserve.

      Ralph,

If you are going to quote sources at least do the honor of quoting sources that have not been shown to be false. I have seen these so called quotes and have seen where each has been shown to be false with no documentation or worse yet they are from Palestinian sources. At least publish something that shows where the speaker is actually saying what you are claiming they are saying.

If you are going to quote Gen. Ha'aretz at least read the whole report so you do not quote out of context. If you actually read the whole speech he stated in that speech that this is what the Arabs had stated, he then went on to show how this was false.

Just a couple of years ago on Palestinian national news the head of largest Mosque (Zayed bin Sultan Aal Nahyan mosque in Gaza) the head Mulla came out and said 'The Jews are Jews, whether Labor or Likud... They do not have any moderates or any advocates of peace. They are all liars... they are the terrorists. They are the ones who must be butchered and killed, as Allah the Almighty said: 'Fight them: Allah will torture them at your hands, and will humiliate them and will help you to overcome them, and will relieve the minds of the believers...' ". This sure sounds like they even now are calling out of genocide.

Prior to the 6 Day War both the President of Israel and the Prime minister called on the Arab nations and asked if they could meet and have a face to face to avoid war, they were met with nothing but silence. Meanwhile, Syria used the Golan Heights, which tower 3,000 feet above the Galilee, to shell Israeli farms and villages. Syria’s attacks grew more frequent in 1965 and 1966, while Nasser’s rhetoric became increasingly bellicose: “We shall not enter Palestine with its soil covered in sand,” he said on March 8, 1965. “We shall enter it with its soil saturated in blood.” It kind of sounds like Gaza, doesn't it?

Then a few months later, Nasser expressed the Arabs’ aspiration: “. . . the full restoration of the rights of the Palestinian people. In other words, we aim at the destruction of the State of Israel. The immediate aim: perfection of Arab military might. The national aim: the eradication of Israel.” I do not know about you, but I have never heard of Israel call out for any nation or people to be eradicated or wiped out.

You can yell all you wish and you can misquote, but the quotes I have taken can be both goggled and taken from Arab sites to this day, I do not need to take some Anti Arab group like do against Israel and quote anti Israel groups and quote their garbage. When you have the hearts of people in a country, beating fervently for one thing, a land of their own, in this case, whether it be Palestine or Israelite, it makes all the difference in the world, what leaders are at the forefront deciding how they will get and keep their lands.

Because at the end of all these discussions, one is faced with the common person still passionately defending their stance to create and keep a home that will be there for generations to come. And most folks are aware from history, just how far people have been willing to go, including dying, to get and hold onto their homes. Even if the cause seems hopeless. Never underestimate what a heart turned towards love of family and home is willing to endure or accomplish.

Everybody knows that Arabs will agree only to such "peace" in which the Jewish state stops to exist. Arabs demand that their state in the Land of Israel (aka "Palestine") be ethnically cleansed from Jews. This ethnic cleansing from Jews has already begun. Those who press for "peace" with Arabo-Nazis want simply the destruction of Israel.

          3. Saudi Arabia has vast lands and they are wasted. So Hamas should be driven out to Mecca as capital. As Hamas and Fatah can't get along let Fatah have Medina as capital.

          4. Instead of fighting for small pieces of waste lands in Israel, Palestinians will have vast lands. It is win, win for all!

Oh, hell. More of the same. Israel's fascists will not permit peace. Their appetite for land, power, and money will not permit a homeland for the people of Palestine. I expect some smarmy posturing and nonsense, followed by a declaration that the people of Palestine don't want peace, followed by more oppression and killing of the people of Palestine.

I hope I'm wrong. My pessimism is grounded in fact and history, however. I just don't see any change in anything. Not yet, anyhow. And not until the entire world has rejected Israel, because of the actions of Israel's fascists.

I wonder what Eric thinks about all the Christian (Catholics) living in Palestine? Do they count or does he even know they exist? The media loves to make these long conflicts look like it's a problem just between Jews and Muslims. There's a big Christian population in their own homeland that's been under Israeli occupation. Nobody ever mentions the Christians, why? Because the media likes to keep the fires burning making it look like the poor Jews are being attacked by aggressive Muslims. Nonsense, all sides should take responsibility. Hamas was a fairly elected group that won. Israel contemplated whether they'd accept Hamas as a candidate and were shocked as the U.S. was when they actually won. After they won, all Israel does is whine and call them terrorists. For the Palestinians, they're like the Red Cross who render aid and help to their people. Our own government gave weapons to the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan that later was picked up by the Taliban and Al Qaeda. We've got pictures of former American leaders shaking their hands. Between the recent Israeli documentaries, The Gatekeepers and 5 Broken Cameras not to mention the UN and U.S. not happy with Israel's ambitions of continuing the building of illegal settlements, the world is finally beginning to see who is really the bully and oppressor unwilling to listen to anyone.

Your post is simply grounded in vile bigotry and an ignorance of the past. Since the first time the palestinians and their other Muslim buddies attacked Israel, Israel has allowed Muslims to worship at the temple mount, despite the facts Jews were not allowed to do so when Arab controlled; made peace with Jordan, allowed Lebanon to remain in existence despite being attacked by Hezbollah, returned the Sinai, and left gaza. In return the Palestinians and their terrorist friends have launched rockets and given nothing. Israel should ignore their enemies until they give up.

History of followers of Islamic cult is exactly opposite of what you are mentioning!

Many non-Muslim relgious groups are facing similar fates as Jews of Israel!

We see Muslims inventing problems in most of the non-Muslim nations and many Muslim nations.

Even in the US, we can notice these actions!

When Muslims form more than five percent, downhill march starts.

Muslims are inventing problems in Myanmar, Thailand, Philippines, India and other places.

When they form more than 30 percent then it is Sudan, Somalia, Nigeria, Lebanon (few decades back)

Followers of Islamic cult, especially House of Saud inspired Sunni Islamic radicals and militants (al-Qaida, Salaffi, Wahhabi, MB, Taliban and other label ones), are fast marching backwards to their seventh century desert tribal days.

They are indulging in rapings, lootings, killings and genocides of non-Muslims (Darfur, S. Sudan, Nigeria and spreading like wild fire in many regions and Muslims (Libya, Mali, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Afghanistan and other places).

Who are hurt most: Muslims or non-Muslims?

              Commentary From the Torah

We begin the study of the Torah with the realization that the Torah is not a history book, but the charter of Man’s mission in the universe. Thus in his very first comment, Rasis cites Rav Yitschak who says that since the Torah is primarily a book of laws, it should have begun with the commandment of the new moon (Exodus 12:2), the first law that was addressed to all Jewery as a nation. He explains that the reason for the Torah’s narrative of Creation is to establish that God is Sovereign of the universe. He declared to his people the power of His works in order to give them the heritage of the nations (Psalm 111:6). If the nation accuse Israel of banditry for seizing the lands of the seven nations of Canaan, Israel can respond. “The entire universe belongs to God. He created it and He granted it to whomever He deemed fit. It was His desire to give it to them and then it was His desire to take if from them and give it to us.”

You think any Muslims have ever read that commentary? Think of all the people that have died over this and are still dying. Think about the unrest in the Muslim countries surrounding Israel, especially Palestine and Iran. Why is it called the Palestinian Liberation Army? The real questions are: Who is He in this Rabi’s mind and who interprets God’s will in his mind? Does the Universe belong to God or to the Jews? This Rabi is saying that the Jews in Israel can justify a sixty year long war and killing children throwing rocks with F14’s because God ordained it!! Really? Are you kidding me? So what is the difference between this and a Muslim Cleric ordering killings of Jews and Americans?

Map of the seven Nations of Canaan

Map of Palestine and Israel’s “God Given” right to steal it from them in modern times.

This is just like the Southern Baptist justifying slavery using the Bible.

As one historian summarized, “slave labor was the foundation of a prosperous economic system in the South.” ….. “From the defense of slavery a new Baptist denomination was born. Foreshadowing the Civil War, white Baptists in the South withdrew fellowship from their northern counterparts on May 10, 1845, forming the Southern Baptist Convention in order to better defend the South’s practice of and dependency upon black slavery.”

Now think about Jewish control of the Federal Reserve board of directors, member banks and the world banks. Also review the quotes from great men dating back to the Founding Fathers regarding banks. Think about the positions Jews are holding in our Government – secretary of defense, homeland security, secretary of the treasury, etc. and I think the picture starts to become crystal clear.

How would this Rabi justify the melt down in 2008?

Is it also ordained by God that America is the New Jewish Zion? Control the money, key political positions and the media and that controls anti-Semitism, especially in a country where we think all men are created equal. It also tends to wipe out Christianity in a very subtle, slow and well planned revolution. No more God in the public schools. Can’t have that. The thing to understand about anti-Semitism is that no other people have a word that is similar. Why is that?

The problem is the concept of all men being created equal obviously doesn’t in Israel and doesn't exist in the Rabi’s mind if he decides that God tells him to steal America along with Palestine. The Jews want to be safe from "anti-Semitism". That is reasonable. The problems is, look what the banks have done and what they are doing? They took it a little beyond staying safe don’t you think? The stratification of wealth is enslaving us all.

The solution would be to pass a law that no single race could control our banking system, which is consistent with our heritage and do what Ron Paul is trying to do, which is dismantle the Federal Reserve. He has had a huge battle just trying to get an audit. Why do you suppose he was so marginalized by the media?

Unfortunately the links to very well done documentation showing the maps of the seven nations of Canaan and the maps of current day Palestine and Israel were removed by the server so you will have to do the research yourself. Google "The Seven Nations of Canaan"

First of all, there was no Rasis. Maybe you mean Rashi. Second, there were several Rav Yitzchaks, but the one to whom Rashi would have referred - and to whom you attribute an argument justifying 60 years of killing children with F-14's - died 1700 years ago. I hope you find professional help.

Yes, sorry it was a typo.

It is Rashi cites Rav Yitzchak and note it is in the third party so it is the author that is citing a Rabbi who is citing a Rabbi. The Stone edition is dedicated to Mr. Irving Stone. The editors are Rabbi Nosson Scherman / Rabi Meir Zlotowitz. It is a project of the Mesorah Heritage Foundation. It is written by Rabbi Nosson Scherman. Contributing editors are: Rabbi Hersh Goldwurm, Rabbi Avie Gold, Rabbi Meir Zlotowitz and it was designed by Rabbi Sheah Brander. Why don't you get a copy and read it for yourself. It is written in July 1998.

So apparently it is consensus opinion among these modern Rabbis that are well aware of the conflict over the 7 nations of Canaan which includes the lands that are on the maps I quoted and include Palestine. So one must conclude that they feel that in their own words "the banditry" that has occurred is ordained by God. Of course that banditry has led to the deaths of untold numbers of both Jews and Arabs since about 1918 and got much worse after 1948. IN five more years we will be able to call it the 100 year war. So how many people have died over this God ordained banditry?

I don' think it is me that needs to get professional help. There are many, many Rabbis that need to get professional help, along with the people of two nations who can't stop killing each other.

As far as the control of the Federal Reserve is concerned. Here are the names. You do understand that the banks, through Greed and manipulation of our legislative and executive branches caused the hardship in this country that has lasted for almost five years now, since melt down in 2008. You do read the newspaper right? This is important because if Jews control our economic system through the largest banks, the ones that print the money, they control the Country. So is this banditry also ordained by God?

Controlling the money supply of nations is a long standing tradition for Jews dating back to the 1600's. The Rothchilds financed many wars over many centuries so another thing to think about is who has been financing the war machine in Israel?

Jewish Baron Nathan Mayer Rothschild boasted:

"I care not what puppet is placed upon the throne of England to rule the Empire on which the sun never sets. The man that controls Britain's money supply controls the British Empire, and I control the British money supply."

These are the names of the Men and Women who control our banking system.

Who runs the Federal Reserve? It's not who you think. The Federal Reserve Board of Governors runs the Federal Reserve. Who are they?

This is conjunction with the control of our economic system is what keeps America involved in a fight that we should not be in. The Jews and the Arabs should not be in this war. They need to make Peace. No one should be in this War. Look at these Positions closely and then realize that Jews are only 2% of the population in the U.S.

Again we get to hear that some Jews are rich and successful, therefore responsible for everything that is wrong in the world. Everyone else is completely broke and fully excused from taking responsibility for their actions.

That logic gets used again and again, from Ancient Egyptians to Inquisition to KGB. Never fails.

So read what I have to say below and then tell me. What is the difference between a Muslim Cleric that orders the deaths of Americans and Jews and Jewish Rabbis that feel the "banditry" of the the 7 Nations of Canaan is ordained by God, knowing full well that his people and the Arabs have been killing each other over that belief since 1918.

In America, we don't succeed but we strive for the ideal "all men are created equal". What do Jews believe? Do the Rabbis who condone the killings of so many believe the Arabs are created as equals?

Do Jewish bankers strive for the idea, "all men or created equal" or do they strive for personal gain at the expense of a Nation and the World? Do they justify their insanity by making contributions to Jewish only causes? Do they finance an unholy war? Do they buy our politicians in their pursuits?

You are in Denial, but I understand why. You have been brainwashed since birth that Jews are the master race and are victims when they are neither. Claims of anti-Semitism keep you in Denial. It is not about success. It is about a bright but foolish people who believe in separation, which is opposite to the American belief of "All men are created Equal". Stop it. Become a part of humanity and make that the ambition of the Jews.

It is very obvious from looking at who controls The American Banks and the World Banks that Jews pull each other up to the exclusion of all others. Yes the Jews are very bright people but they are also very stupid. They have been kicked out of 80 countries and persecuted for perpetrating these crimes against whoever was inhabiting the country when they moved in and energetically start taking control. Politics are very mixed with the message at synagogues.

No one is excusing anyone for killing and persecuting Jews. It is wrong, but Jewish obsession for Gold has always been their Achilles Heel. They have brought much suffering upon themselves. This is well documented in the Torah and the TaNakh which is written by Jews for Jews. It is stated in Exodus quite clearly. By Jewish account, God himself sends the Levites to destroy the Jews that would not turn away from Idolatry. Moses, a profit, a man who had direct contact with God and therefore could see into the future; warned the Jews of the wrong in being obsessed by Gold. Note the command comes directly from God.

                  From the Torah.

                  יז וַיַּעֲמֹד הָעָם, מֵרָחֹק; וּמֹשֶׁה נִגַּשׁ אֶל-הָעֲרָפֶל, אֲשֶׁר-שָׁם הָאֱלֹהִים. {ס}
17 And the people stood afar off; but Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

18 And the LORD said unto Moses: Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel: Ye yourselves have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

                  יט לֹא תַעֲשׂוּן, אִתִּי: אֱלֹהֵי כֶסֶף וֵאלֹהֵי זָהָב, לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ לָכֶם.
19 Ye shall not make with Me--gods of silver, or gods of gold, ye shall not make unto you.

In the Torah we are given the Ten Commandments. The first being the most important. THOUGH SHALT HAVE NO OTHER gods BEFORE ME. Note that the other gods are plural. Jews have made a God of anger in the Middle East and they have made a God of Gold in the world. They have made a God of the seven nations of Canaan. They have made a God of Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the center of three great religions but the Jews claim ownership? God commands the Jews to place God above all else. Do you think God condones the Killings over land in 7 Nations of Canaan, as the fallen Rabbis I have cited above do?

                  א וַיְדַבֵּר אֱלֹהִים, אֵת כָּל-הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה לֵאמֹר. {ס}
1 And God spoke all these words, saying:

                  ב אָנֹכִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ, אֲשֶׁר הוֹצֵאתִיךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם מִבֵּית עֲבָדִים: לֹא-יִהְיֶה לְךָ אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים, עַל-פָּנָי.
2 I am the LORD thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

                  ג לֹא-תַעֲשֶׂה לְךָ פֶסֶל, וְכָל-תְּמוּנָה, אֲשֶׁר בַּשָּׁמַיִם מִמַּעַל, וַאֲשֶׁר בָּאָרֶץ מִתָּחַת--וַאֲשֶׁר בַּמַּיִם, מִתַּחַת לָאָרֶץ.
                  3 Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any manner of likeness, of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;

                  ד לֹא-תִשְׁתַּחֲוֶה לָהֶם, וְלֹא תָעָבְדֵם: כִּי אָנֹכִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ, אֵל קַנָּא--פֹּקֵד עֲו‍ֹן אָבֹת עַל-בָּנִים עַל-שִׁלֵּשִׁים וְעַל-רִבֵּעִים, לְשֹׂנְאָי.
                  4 thou shalt not bow down unto them, nor serve them; for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me;

                  ה וְעֹשֶׂה חֶסֶד, לַאֲלָפִים--לְאֹהֲבַי, וּלְשֹׁמְרֵי מִצְו‍ֹתָי. {ס}
5 and showing mercy unto the thousandth generation of them that love Me and keep My commandments.

Would God say kill for land or would God say:

                  Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them;

for this is the law and the prophets.

Do you believe? Does God says make yourself wealthy at the Expense and Hardship of an entire nation? That is exactly what happened through the works of men like Sandi Weill and Lloyd Blankfien and so many others they collaborate with. Bernie Madoff and his brother and his niece (who married an SEC investigator to escape criminal prosecution) stole from their own people mostly. Does God condone what they have done?

God answers my questions to you.

                  יב לֹא תִרְצָח, {ס} לֹא תִנְאָף; {ס} לֹא תִגְנֹב, {ס} לֹא-תַעֲנֶה בְרֵעֲךָ עֵד שָׁקֶר. {ס}
12 Thou shalt not murder. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

                  Independent,

I loved the list; It gives you an idea why our foreign and internal policies are F*cked up.

No wonder congress trying to send money to Israel while cutting grandma's social securrity check.

I noticed one thing in the list; How did 3 non-jews got in the reserve board?. is it a mistake? Or perhaps its is purposely done to make it look like its not a jew organization?

If you want to hear the other side of the story go to this web site. If it can happen in Palestine it can happen here. You have to put the link together because this site blocks links to other sites. Take the spaces out.

"Do Jewish bankers strive for the idea, "all men or created equal" or do they strive for personal gain at the expense of a Nation and the World? Do they justify their insanity by making contributions to Jewish only causes? Do they finance an unholy war? Do they buy our politicians in their pursuits?"

You could just as easily ask that question about bankers in general, but you feel the need to single out the "Jewish bankers" as if Jews are the only nation that includes bankers who only care about money. That gives away your hypocrisy.

"You are in Denial, but I understand why. You have been brainwashed since birth that Jews are the master race and are victims when they are neither. Claims of anti-Semitism keep you in Denial. It is not about success. It is about a bright but foolish people who believe in separation, which is opposite to the American belief of "All men are created Equal". Stop it. Become a part of humanity and make that the ambition of the Jews."

Never in my life had I every heard any Jew claim that "Jews are the master race". However, I did see and experience plenty of antisemitism in my life. Not in USA, it was in Russia.

The "separation" you are talking about was not created by Jews, it was created by those who decided that they should grant jobs only to pure-bred Russians and not Jews, that their universities should not accept Jews, or that if there is Jewish kid in their class, it's their sacred duty to bit him up.

You want everyone to be a part of humanity, start by convincing your fellow Christians, me and mine already have it down cold.

                      Jewish Denial is without end!!!!!

To the misinformation you espouses. Who claims to be the "chosen People"? I just rephrases it as the "Master Race"

the separation was certainly created by Jews. Study your History. Jews separated themselves from everyone else about 2,000 to 6,000 years earlier.

You and yours have been kicked out of 80 countries. What other peoples have been kicked out of eighty countries? I know the rest of the world was wrong and the Jews are right.

There is a Yiddish saying. If one person calls you a donkey ignore him. If two call you a donkey ignore him. If three call yo a donkey put on a saddle. Eighty nations have called the Jews a donkey.

Eli100 - Let me try one more time. I weary of minds in Denial. Go back and read the list of who controls the Federal Reserve in this country - who controls the banks that control the country. It is pretty much 100% controlled by Jews. It can't be audited and they siphon off the wealth of the middle class through inflation. And undoubtedly quite a bit of the money goes to finance Israels' unholy war machine, because the people of Israel feel they have the "God Given" right to steal the land from the Palestinians. Look at the maps of the 1940's and now. The Rabbis that support these acts of aggression are no different from Muslim Clerics who order the deaths of Americans and Jews. Open your eyes.

Back to the Federal Reserve. When money gets printed it dilutes the soup. The money is worth less, therefore it is a tax and it is taxation without representation. It was because of such actions by England that America became America, but the actions were different They just imposed a tax that sparked a revolution. Have you heard of the Boston Tea Party? The Federal Reserve is and very Evil force that put us all in debt in the same way but it is insidious in that it is not as easily understood. The Federal Reserve, The entity that controls this country is privately owned. We don't get a vote or a say in what they finance. We can't even audit them. It should be dismantled.

Google this, "The Creature from Jekyll Island" find the one hour and forty seven minute video on the creation of the Federal Reserve. Note that he never once mentions it was created by Jews, but it was. He does give the names of the chief proponents. I'll try to include the link but this site deletes them. If it doesn't get deleted take the spaces out after the forward slashes. I hav egiven you all the information you need to know to come out of your denial.

Go back and study what was happening in Germany before Hitler rose to power. Aristocratic Jews had control of the stock markets and banks way beyond their percentage of the population, just as they do in America today. The reason for that is separation. Jews pull each other up the ranks to the exclusion of all others. This is especially true in the banking industry. And it has matured in America. A slow persistent revolution that all our great men noted from Washington, to Jefferson to Lincoln, To Wilson, to many news writers. This has perverted the great ideal of our country. "All men are created equal". It is stratifying wealth to the few just as founding fathers predicted it would. In 1975 the top CEO's made 25 time what the average white collar worker made. The ratio is now 500 to 1.

I'm am going to say this one more time and listen closely this time. There are a lots of wonderful Jews. Jews are not a bad people as a whole. There have always been Jews that rise to the top of the Jews, Aristocratic classes of Jews, that fall into the temptation of Idolatry that Moses and God condemned. They harm their own people and and they take advantage of anyone who is more giving. They are takers and they are a parasitic force on the broken backs of all hard working people who produce things. They create financial instruments so complex that on one can understand them except those that create them.

It is this Greed driven Aristocratic class of Jews that turn the world against all Jews because most people don't take the time I have taken to sort it out. What you should do as a Jew, and I can tell from your responses, that you are not from that "brood of vipers" Jesus spoke of which were the Pharisees, is study the New Testament and learn that Jesus, who himself was a Jew, came to save his people Israel. You should study the history of the Jews from both perspectives, not just one. The truth will set you free from your Denial and then you can begin to become a part of humanity and realize it is more a struggle of common men and kings than anything else. Kings, men with too much power, will alway corrupt themselves. Very few men in history have been able to accept the power and resist the temptations it brings.

In its purist form Christianity is simply a branch of Judaism. Nothing more. The mission Jesus had was to save his people Israel, but he did something else. He opened the doors to God to everyone. He changed the Religion of Power to a religion of a God that resides within us all. That is the holy ghost which supplanted the rules that were impossible for common Jews to follow. The Pharisees used that against the common Jews, being aristocrats, they could spend all day in religious study but they didn't use it for the good of the people, they used it to enrich themselves and used it to control common Jews. The common Jews had to spend their days working, fishing, farming, etc. and they were considered "less than" by the Pharisees, Sadducees and Herodians which were the Aristocratic classes and at odds with each other over wealth and power. You can see that mentality play out in modern times with Bernie Madoff and other Jews that have harmed everyone through their obsession for Gold, the Idolatry Moses speaks of in Exodus, which was written by Jews, when Moses delivered the ten commandments from God to the people.

Again, in modern times, the Federal Reserve and the World banks are at the heart of this power and greed and they are exclusively controlled by Aristocratic Jews. That means America is exclusiely controlled by Aristocratic Jews as is the Western world and we are on the path of a show down with Easter and Middle Easter peoples. These are the Jews that Jesus sought to save his people from. the same ones Moses condemned. Look what Bernie Madoff did. Most of the people he scammed were Jews. What would Jesus say about him? What would Moses say? What do you say? Now realize Bernie Madoff is a small player compared to the modern day Pharisees. Those that control the Federal Reserve and those that control Goldman Sachs and those that control Hedge funds. Those are the ones that trough the wealth they gain at the expense of common, hard working people, jews, christians, muslims, hindus and the all the rest turn the world against all Jews. Sort it out. This has been recognized by Jewish leaders throughout the ages. We live in a time of apostasy which means we live in a time of a fall from God's grace.

And yes Christianity has also been corrupted throughout history and redeemed, corrupted again and redeemed again, a cycle of apostasy and dispensation. Christianity has also fallen into the the same struggle with Greed and Power and that was evident from about 200 A.D. to 1776 when the Christian church marched down a road of corruption. But in the eighteenth century and into the nineteenth and partially through the twentieth, Christians sought to create a better world, a shining example to the world. The mantra our founding fathers stood on was God given inalienable rights and stated "all men are created equal". The problem is that at this point in time, now, today America and the Palestinians are under attack by the same Jews that have always harmed the Jews and others. They do collaborate with Christians but the Jews now led us into our demise. Look at the position they are placing the world in. America and Israel are conducting Armageddon war drills as I write this. And why? Ask yourself. Why? Have the Israeli Jews adopted the American philosophy set forth by our founders? Do Israeli Jews see the Arabs as equals? Do Arabs see the Israeli Jews as equals. The co-existed peacefully in Palestine, before imperialistic policies of Great Britain stirred things up.

When I spoke of the fallen Rabbis I cited I also spoke of the fallen Christian ministers who used religion to condone slavery for economic gain. Again, an Aristocratic class of plantation owners who behaved much like the Pharisees. Don't let religion divide and don't let religion be corrupted. Do see that there are Jews who act in a corrupt manner and do see that their are Christians that do the same. Don't be brainwashed by claims of anti-Semitism. I stand against the modern day Pharisees,Sadducees and Herodians, be they Jew of Christian, just as Jesus did. Just as you should. It just happens that at this point in history it is the Jews that are at the center of the Evil as it was in the days Jesus was crucified. In those days fallen Rabbis collaborated with the Romans. Today they collaborate with fallen Christians.

Herod was a Jew when he needed to be and not a Jew when he needed not to be. He was all about greed, power and lust. Today we have class of Herodians.

Open your mind to the New Testament and Keep the Old Testament or Hebrew Bible - the Torah and the TaNukh and do not fear. It is the corruption of idolatry we need to fight, not each other.

People just want to live a happy life. Even here in the United States of America there are people who want to deny you this happiness. It's called exclusionary zoning. The housing market is not free. You are not free to live in a home of your own choosing. Freedom leads to prosperity. But the whole world needs to realize that population needs to be sustainable. We can't keep acting like cats and dogs and just increase the population. Peace, freedom and the golden rule can save us but we need to commit to these principles and forget about all of the religions.

You are absolutely right James. think about why we allow unbridled immigration? Think about why we don't enforce our immigration laws. Who's interest is it in? Happiness will not happen in a country country who's values have been overtaken by a despotism.

Despotism is a form of government in which a single entity rules with absolute power. That entity may be an individual, as in an autocracy, or it may be a group,[1] as in an oligarchy. The word despotismmeans to "rule in the fashion of a despot" and does not necessarily require a singular "despot", an individual.

                          A quote from Thomas Jefferson

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered...I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

In Europe and China the population is decreasing, in search type national birth rates. It is Judeo-Christianity which provided us with the golden rules, not Charles Darwin or the non religious. All of our freedoms had to be won on the battlefields of human history, tyrants never went quietly into that good night.

James, Don't give up on God. Temper the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible) with the New. Jesus came to save his people Israel. They need to listen to the message. Note that Jesus and all his disciples were Jews. Jews are not bad. Jews are not evil. God is not bad. It is what man does with religion that causes the problems. Jews and Christians alike have perverted God's word and it has been happening throughout our entire history, yet great things have been done in the name of God by both Jews and Christians. I am sure the same is true of Muslims. I am not knowledgeable in their religion so I can not say. But I believe God is God and man is man. We have free will and there is good evil inside of us all.

The old testament (Hebrew Bible) which is fairly close to the King James version or Protestant Bible is a collection of sixty-six books written over the span of sixteen centuries by kings and peasant, poets and prophets. It contains much wisdom. The historical books of Joshua through Esther highlight the covenant history of Israel, noting both Israel's successes and failures in keeping the covenant and God's patience and grace in enforcing it's terms.

Were it not for the Jews devout study and record of God and Man we would still be Godless barbarians, but man is man and man will falter.

This is recorded in the full Bible which includes both the Old and the New Testaments and it deserves fervent study.

This thing going on in Israel, confiscation of Palestinian lands and justifying it by religion is a case of dispensation. Dispensation is founded in fear. This story is told throughout the Old testament. Moses chastises the Israelites for their obsession for Gold and Silver and sets forth the first commandment which is, Thou shall have no other God before me. Many listen and many do not.

                          God goes on to say,

22 And the Lord said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

23 Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.

There is great Wisdom in the Bible. Don't throw out the baby with the soiled bath water.

Yeh, but you also leave out a histircal Fact The Jews didn't stop anybody from believeing in their Religion. There fore they feel it is ok for anyone to believe in judism. They don't condem race. Christianty came from interpiting Judism a different way. The Jews didn't condem Christians, Christians, Chatholics, Islamist, Muslems will do what ever they can to wipe out one another and push there perceive belief in the interpitation of the Bible onto everyone else. So let me ask you this, If the Jews can go about their Religion and not bother the world, what's with all the rest of you? I see History repeating itself where the Catholics met their point, and got past being ignorant of others, the same thing will happen to the extremeist of the Ilsam and Muslem.

6dogs, Aristocratic Jews persecuted Christians around the time of Christ and the Pharisees killed Christ. I would say that was trying to stop someone from following their religion. Note that I have made a distinction in Jews. There are the ones Moses condemns for the lust of gold (idolatry) and those like Peter (Simon) who was also Jewish but a simple fisherman. He and Andrew were the first that Jesus chose to be fishers of men. Do you not see the motion picture and television industry perverting Christianity today. Read the credits as they flash by. Again, one must be careful if not to fall into bigotry. Not all Jews are the same. Not all Christians are the same. Not all Muslims are the same. But yes, certain Jews do choose to attack Christianity and are very successful in turning a country founded in Christian beliefs from it's faith.

Pharisees only turned on Christians because they saw them as attempting to change the Jewish traditions from the inside. All the first Christians were Jewish, and to the rest of the world Christianity was just a sub-division of Judaism at the time.

When Romans went on a full-out Christian-hunt, they hardly saw the difference between Christians and Jews. If they knew back then that one day Christians will be exterminating Jews in a similar fashion, they would be very surprised.

Even the worst extremists among Jews never tried to convert everyone to Judaism, especially not by force. Nor did they ever call for extermination of everyone who is of different faith.

Eli100 The Pharisees were an aristocratic class of Jews that abused the common Jews. Yes, Jesus and all his disciples were Jews. Most of the people that followed him were Jews in the early churches. Jesus came to save his people Israel. He was a profit and the son of God and he died on the cross to save his people and to bring all people who chose to follow him into God's grace. The Pharisees believed in separatism, which is in a large part responsible for the conflict in the Middle East today. Under the Pharisees no one but the Jews that bowed down to them had access to God. That is why the gospels are the good news. The Romans were hedonist and for the most part devoid of God. that empire fell under its own corruption. We are headed for the same end.

But on your facts there was one well know disciple who was named Saul. He was an extremely devout Pharisee. His mission was to persecute the new Christians and I imagine that if they renounced their Christianity and returned to the conventional Jewish fold he would spare them. He was as violent as any Nazi and just as brutal. He was later transformed and became Paul and was equally devout as a Christian, except he no longer persecuted and killed anyone.

                            • Acts 8:1 Saul was in hearty agreement with putting him to death. And on that day a great persecution began against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.
                              1. This statement is made at Stephen's execution [the first Christian put to death because of his faith in Jesus Christ].
                              2. Paul was not only there, but Acts 7:58 states that the witnesses who testified against Stephen and started his execution by stoning placed their outer garments [robes] at Paul's feet--he kept their robes safe as they executed Stephen!
                              3. He was fully in agreement with killing Stephen!
                              4. That death began a persecution against Christians, and quickly [if not immediately] Paul was involved in inflicting physical harm on Christians.
                            • Acts 8:3 But Saul began ravaging the church, entering house after house, and dragging off men and women, he would put them in prison.
                              1. Pay attention to the words of contempt and hostility describing Paul's actions:
                                1. "Ravaging the church."
                                2. "Dragging" men and women out of their homes.
                                3. Putting them in prison.
                              2. Jewish men and women who believed that Jesus was the Christ deserved no respect!
                                1. Jewish Christians as the church deserved no respect!
                                2. Jews who dared believe Jesus was the Christ deserved abuse and pain!
                                3. Jewish men and women who believed Jesus was resurrected deserved to be prisoners!
                            • Acts 9:1,2 Now Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest, and asked for letters from him to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the Way, both men and women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
                              1. Saul told people who followed Jesus Christ, "I will see you dead!"--and he meant it!
                              2. He did all in his power to destroy those who followed Jesus--his hate for Christians was not restricted to Palestine!
                              3. He must have been highly respected by the Jewish enemies of Jesus.
                                1. He had access to the high priest, and not just anyone could walk into the presence of the high priest.
                                2. He could make a request of the high priest and get a favorable response.
                                3. He could ask for and receive authority to go to Jewish synagogues in a major city of another nation and arrest Jews who followed Jesus.
                                4. He could place such believers under arrest and march these people 4 to 6 days (150 miles) to Jerusalem for trial by the Jerusalem Sanhedrin.
                                5. Can you imagine hating someone so much that you would walk 300 miles to arrest them?
                            • Listen to Saul's self description at the point in his life when he hated those who believed in Jesus:
                              1. Saul made this statement as he defended himself before Agrippa in Acts 26:9-11:
So then, I thought to myself that I had to do many things hostile to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. And this is just what I did in Jerusalem; not only did I lock up many of the saints in prisons, having received authority from the chief priests, but also when they were being put to death I cast my vote against them. And as I punished them often in all the synagogues, I tried to force them to blaspheme; and being furiously enraged at them, I kept pursuing them even to foreign cities.
                                1. Note Saul did things "hostile" to the "name of Jesus of Nazareth."
                                2. Note Saul took Christians in Jerusalem to prison with authority received from the high priest.
                                3. Note Saul used his influence to encourage the execution of Christians.
                                4. Note when Saul found Jewish Christians in synagogue, he abused them in an attempt to make them blaspheme Jesus.
                                5. Note Saul was "furiously enraged" at Christians--we would call him a man out of control, a man filled with hate!
                                6. Note Saul hated Jewish Christians so much that he would go to other countries to pursue them.
                            • Saul was later transformed after meeting Jesus on the road to Damascus and he became Paul

                              1. Paul made this statement to Christians in the Roman province of Galatia in Galatians 1:13, 14:
For you have heard of my former manner of life in Judaism, how I used to persecute the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it; and I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries among my countrymen, being more extremely zealous for my ancestral traditions.
                                1. Paul said he used to be an extremist in persecuting the church of God.
                                2. Paul said his intent at that time was to destroy the church of God.
                                3. Paul said at this point in his life he was Israel's " rising star"--he was going places! He had a bright future in Judaism!
                                4. Paul said he was "extremely zealous" for Judaism's ancient traditions--he knew those traditions, he followed those traditions, and he defended those traditions! He was a devoted, committed man!
                              2. Paul made this statement to Timothy in 1 Timothy l:12-14:
I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service, even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent aggressor. Yet I was shown mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief; and the grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the faith and love which are found in Christ Jesus.
                                1. God through Jesus Christ transformed a blasphemer into a Christian missionary.
                                2. God through Jesus Christ transformed a persecutor of Christians into a Christian missionary.
                                3. God through Jesus Christ transformed a violent aggressor into a Christian missionary.

Yes, 2000 years ago Judaism was going through the same stage that Islam is going through right now, and that Christianity went through about 500 years ago.

Even than, the cruelty was restricted inside the Jewish nation, even the likes of Saul never set a goal to make Judaism the only religion in the world.

Israel talking about peace is like Iran talking about their nuclear program. The only way Israel would ever want to have peace is if the Palestinians give up all their demands. Likewise, the only way Iran is going to talk about their nuclear program is if the UN lets them build a nuclear bomb. Nothing less will ever satisfy either party. They are both ruled by religious fanatics and you simply cannot reason with religious fanatics, it is not possible. The facts don't matter to them because everything they do is based on their self-serving interpretation of what people living in caves wrote thousands of years ago. To them, those writings are much more important than any facts.

I mostly agree and well written. When the IAEA visits Israel and talks about their findings of which many say is the world's #2 arsenal of WMD, then I believe the world can talk about what countries can and can't have nuclear weapons. In the U.S. our laws says that we're innocent until proven guilty. In Israel's case, Iran is guilty before being proven innocent. If Iran "claims" their nuclear ambitions are for energy purposes, I'd think the 1st world countries would attempt to offer them alternative energy plans such as wind, solar, etc. An investment that could be overseen by 1st world countries "could" mean Iran not following through with their nuclear ambitions. Dialogue is never a bad thing and by Kerry keeping the door open for more dialogue, is the correct approach. It's cheaper than war, saves lives and keeps the peace in the world. It's not cowering it's diplomacy that educated people should attempt. Put away the testosterone on all sides, and probably a lot could be solved.

Dialogue in the face of intransigence is called appeasement and it was the major cause of WW2. Words are meaningless when contradicted by actions. Hamas wants a fight to the death and Israel should make sure Hamas loses that fight.

You right wingers are sure fixed on the word, "appeasement".

Hamas wants their own land and recognition as a state. They fight for their country.

Israel wants it all, as shown in this statement made in 1936. They accepted the original boundaries, but in 1967, they started a war, in order to expand and gain the West Bank and Gaza.

                                  “Moshe Dayan, the celebrated
commander who, as Defense Minister in 1967, gave the order to conquer the
Golan...[said] many of the firefights with the Syrians were deliberately
provoked by Israel, and the kibbutz residents who pressed the Government to
take the Golan Heights did so less for security than for the farmland...[Dayan
stated] ‘They didn’t even try to hide their greed for the land...We would send
a tractor to plow some area where it wasn’t possible to do anything, in the
demilitarized area, and knew in advance that the Syrians would start to shoot.
If they didn’t shoot, we would tell the tractor to advance further, until in
the end the Syrians would get annoyed and shoot.

And then we would use artillery and
later the air force also, and that’s how it was...The Syrians, on the fourth
day of the war, were not a threat to us.’” The New York Times, May 11, 1997

“I do not think Nasser wanted war.
The two divisions he sent to The Sinai would not have been sufficient to launch
an offensive war. He knew it and we knew it.” Yitzhak Rabin, Israel’s Chief
of Staff in 1967, in Le Monde, 2/28/68

                                  “The acceptance of partition does
not commit us to renounce Transjordan; one does not demand from anybody to give
up his vision. We shall accept a state in the boundaries fixed today. But the
boundaries of Zionist aspirations are the concern of the Jewish people and no
external factor will be able to limit them.” David Ben-Gurion, in 1936,
quoted in Noam Chomsky, “The Fateful Triangle.”

Israelis only want to hold on to their own land and were even willing to give up some land of thier land for peace.

Hamas wants it all, as their official charter suggests:

“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.” (The Martyr, Imam Hassan al-Banna, of blessed memory).“The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Muslim generations until Judgement Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up. “

The recent reunification talks betwen Hamas and Fatah failed once again. Israel has no partner to bargain with. The presidents of Hamas and Fatah are still in office years after their terms expired. Abbas's term expired in 2009 and no elections are scheduled.

Hamas does not accept Israel's right to exist under any circumstances--within any borders. Fatah, said to be more moderate, will see any gains in negotiations as a step toward the eventual elimination of the "Zionist entity." Their original charter calling for Israel's removal remains unchanged.

The Israelis BOUGHT their Middle Eastern land, starting in the late 19th Century. James Joyce had Leopold Bloom, the Dublin Jew, doing just that, in his portrait of Dublin life called "Ulysses." They acquired additional holdings when they were used to attack them three times. And incidentally, the Torah is also known as the Old Testament.

But if we can all look forward, rather than backwards, and pray for peace together, then maybe there is finally hope for that region...and the Netanyahu-Livni alliance is a very hopeful sign.

It was never their land. Gaza belonged to Egypt and the West Bank belonged to Jordan. Funny, during the peace accords neither country wanted those lands back.

P.S.--From 1948 to 1967 Jordan was in possession of the West Bank and East Jerusalem and could have established an independent Palestinian state. It didn't want to.

The story of Israel and the palestinian muslims, is much the same as the story of colonialism in America. We conducted a genocidal attack on the American Indians. A more technically advanced people conquering a less technically advanced people. It wasn't right then and it isn't right now. Why did we kill off the American Indian? To conquer their lands, of course.

I agree with your analogy but how can we have peace if we hold onto prejudice? Are we not still conquering other people, muslims, in our obsession for Oil? Our insatiable need to consume destroys all? Are not other countries like China and India following in our footsteps?

The world cannot withstand it and if we don't temper ourselves mother nature will. What we see now is just the dogs fighting for the meat but soon the meat will be gone unless we stop doing what we are doing. Mankind needs to take a big about face. Our salvation lies in turning away form our obsessions for MORE which is a form of idolatry that Moses and God condemned. Our salvation rests in reducing consumption and conserving the resources of our world and allowing all to share in Gods bounty which has been all but decimated by our lust for more. It has to stop or we will destroy ourselves, which is an act of turning from God, or Nature (God) will stop us and there will be much destruction of humanity when Nature makes the correction to save herself. The time to stop is upon us.

There were no white people in America before the American Indian arrived. Jews predate the Palestinians in Israel. Palestine was the name given to now Israel by the Romans when they dispossessed the Jews from their land. Like any common thief the Palestinians took advantage of the murderous Roman rampage and stole the land, similar to the Swiss, stealing Jewish money from bank accounts after their buddies, the Nazis, exterminated the rightful owners. Anyone going to Jerusalem can see the remains of King Solomon's temple, beneath two despicable mosque's built by Muslims on land they stole. In 1948 Jordan got most of the land, with their 70% Palestinian population, Jordan is the Palestinians homeland, although they're not really a separate people. Hope Israel flattens the area with nukes. If Israel goes, its only fair that all of us go.

Skibum609, Aristocratic Jews owned 50% of the banks in Germany before the war. Do you think that Hitler acted alone? Not all the Germans killing Jews were Nazis. It was the greed of Aristocratic Jews that turned an impoverished Germany against all Jews.

Moses warner the Jews of the destruction of those that fell into the lust of Gold. By Jewish account, God sent the Levites to destroy the Jews who were given a chance to turn from Idolatry but wouldn't. Many Jews died in Germany for the sins of a few but the Jews were a very small casualty relative to the total number killed in that horrible war. An estimated 60 Million people died but the only deaths kept alive as an atrocity is the 6 MIllion Jews, who amounted to a minor 10% of the deaths.

Everyone else has moved on. Many Christians died saving Jews from the Jews that brought destruction upon so many Jews and so many more who weren't Jews.

As far as your account of who did what. Two wrongs or a thousand never add up to a right.

All men are created equal is an American concept. It is not an Israeli concept. We need to insist that Israel aligns itself with that concept or withdraw all support.

                                    independent,

What did the native Americans do when someone stole their land? It is ridiculous to pretend that the establishment of nations was accomplished without the subjugation of other populations. Great Britain's population came from Norway and France and a few other European areas. The native population of Great Britain was largely assimilated or exterminated. Poland has been overrun by so many other ethnic groups that it is doubtful there is anyone in Poland that doesn't carry the genes of other cultures. Mexico was overrun by Spain and their population is an admixture of Spanish, Indian and a few escaped slaves.

There is no such thing as a country that has always had the same people and the same borders. Israel was once a country made up of Jews. Rome conquered and displaced the population, but some Jews always remained. After WWII, Jews came to the conclusion that no country offered them safety and that they needed to have their own country and defensible borders. So they reclaimed the land the Romans had taken from them. You may debate the ethics of such a reclamation, but it is hardly unprecedented.

Underemployed. A million examples of precedence does not add up to right action. So you justify giving the American Indian smallpox blankets because other populations perpetrated equal or greater atrocities. Read up on what it is like to die from smallpox. The Nazis were more humane. Where does it end? When we are all dead? Or can we rise above it? It is only a matter of time before countries that have been abused because of technological inferiority find the technology. We can't stop it. Do you propose more genocide? We need to make peace.

Mankind seems to be on a long, slow, uphill battle towards good but then we fall backwards into evil. Read of the concepts of dispensation and apostacy. You seem to hold fast to an idea that good comes through apostacy. It does not.

It is in times of dispensation that man turns from his base nature to more pure pursuits.

The ten commandments gave us a great dispensation and it states "Thou Shalt Not Kill". It doesn't say thou shalt not kill, unless you want to build a nation.

So, does "Thou Shalt Not Kill" apply to the situation when somebody is trying to kill you?

Most courts accept a plea of self-defense.

For Israel, building a nation was a matter of survival.

Eli100 - You are listening to the lies. In America we live among many races and religions without killing each other. the Jews and the Arabs can do the same but they are fixed on a false God. The land. Neither is any more a victim than the other. What we have is stubborn fools on both sides who live in fear of loosing what they have or not getting what they want. That is the heart of an obsession. Go back and read what I stated regarding the ten commandments. Land has become there God and both have abandoned God's will. Both sides kill for in violation of God's commandments. Both sides condemn themselves and may all the rest of us in their hatred and obsession. Cod condemns their actions. They justify their actions with God's will. What could be more insane?

I am perfectly familiar with ten secondments, my people had been living by them long before yours, but it was not us who added "turn the other cheek" to them, even though we have been turning our cheeks non-stop for 2000 years, when we were living without land.

                                        We are done with that.

Fighting is like this, if you piss me off enough to want to kick your butt, you can hide behind 20 people and I will do what ever I have to to get you. I not the kind of guy that lets something keep me from getting my objective. If any of the 20 got hurt it is your fault for putting them in danger.

Hey 6dogs - Israeli pilots strap themselves into F16s and bomb Palestinians at will. Then the pilot gets to fly back to Israel , go home and bonk his wife, while the Palestinians mourn the losses of their wives and children. In 2006, the Israelis killed over 1400 Palestinians.

That is why the Palestinians fire those bottle rockets, whichusually end up in fields, which used to be farmed by their ancestors, until they were stolen by Jews.

It is astounding to see the hatred of the people whose land you took in order to form the State of Israel. The Israeli Jew is in no way superior to the native Palestinian, yet they regard the Palestinans as one would a dog.

Cassandra - the comment below doesn't sound like they were purchasing land from the Arabs, as you frequently post. Do you have a different interpretation?

"We must use terror, assassination, intimidation, land confiscation,
and the cutting of all social services to rid the Galilee of its Arab
                                            population."

Id Israeli pilots do not "strap themselves into F16s and bomb Palestinians", Palestinians will keep shooting rockets at Israel until those rockets (even poorly aimed) finally reach their targets an kill Israeli women and children.

If Palestinians were not shooting rockets at Israel, they would not be bombed and they would not have to mourn their losses.

It is astounding to see the hatred of the people who once destroyed the land of Israel, but no can't bare the fact that rightful owners returned to their land and restored their country.

The Arabs are in not way superior to heirs of their Jewish whom they drove away, yet regard Jews as one would a dog.

As for your quote, it's from wrong century. Jews were purchasing land in the 19th century, then Arabs made a habit of taking back the land they sold at gunpoint, thus convincing Jews that the only way to survive is to fight for survival. "The Koenig Memorandum" was written decades later, about reaction to Arab aggression.

Eli - Those rightful owners, you site, have been dead for thousands of years. The Jews living in Israel have no titles or deeds showing any ownership of land in what is now called Israel. The Arabs didn't drive them out, they left because of famine and the Romans. It is ancient history.

If you really believe the claptrap you write, then you better move out and give your house to the Indians.

We can't go back and redraw the boundaries of countries lost in battle thousands of years ago. I know Jews want to make a special case for themselves. Their greed knows no bounds.

The Jewish population that existed before and during the formation of Israel are the only ones entitled to live there. Those Jews are second class citizens in the Israel, ruled by Askenazi Jews from Europe, who are decended from the killers in the Russian Revolution, responsible for up to 30 million of dead Russians.

"The Arabs didn't drive them out, they left because of famine and the Romans." - since then they never stopped trying to get back, but as the land kept changing rulers, each new ruler did a little Jews sweep, and that included Arabs.

"If you really believe the claptrap you write, then you better move out and give your house to the Indians." - funny, I could say the same to you. By your own logic, it's irrelevant who owned the land 50 years ago. It belongs to Jews now, and that's all that matters.

"The Jewish population that existed before and during the formation of Israel are the only ones entitled to live there. Those Jews are second class citizens in the Israel" - that is one of your most idiotic claims yet. There is no such a thing as "second class citizen" in Israel, all citizens (including Arab citizens) have equal rights.

"Askenazi Jews from Europe, who are decended from the killers in the Russian Revolution, responsible for up to 30 million of dead Russians." - now this one takes the cake. The idiocy required to write something like that is immeasurable. Placing responsibility for Russian Revolution on the Jews is right out there with blaming Jews for the Plague.

The "Askenazi Jews from Europe" were fleeing from pogroms in the 19th century. Those of them who would join the revolution rather flee (obviously) did not end up in the Middle East. Many of their children or grandchildren later realized that fleeing was a wiser choice, but by then it was too late. Stalin closed the borders.

So, if there are any "decended from the killers in the Russian Revolution" they only made it there recently. The rest of them are descendant of those who were driven all the way from Europe to Middle East by the likes of you.

My logic says that ancient history is history and cannot be reversed.. Today, we have laws which are intended to stop the taking of land in wars. Those laws went into effect after WW2. Israel is the only country that ignores those laws. In other parts of the world, such as Russia, they are divesting themselves of some of the territories which do not wish to remain a part of Russia.

The Jews just keep expanding their territory, using flimsy excuses such as a "right to defend themselves" to attack their neighbors and annex more land.

"It is the duty of Israeli leaders to explain to public opinion,
clearly and courageously, a certain number of facts that are forgotten with
time. The first of these is that there is no Zionism, colonialization or Jewish
State without the eviction of the Arabs and the expropriation of their
                                                lands."

Yoram Bar Porath, Yediot Aahronot, of 14 July 1972.

Can you understand the words I printed in bold? Zionism stands for taking Arab land to be added to the Jewish State. They don't make it a secret, yet you deny what is obvious to anyone who reads the quotes and witnesses what Israel has been doing, since it's inception. They call it preemptive war, but it is really wars for conquest.

Here is the law, which should be obeyed by Israel and any other nation that has designs on the land and resources of another people.

The combination of several recent developments is what's forcing the Israeli PM to try to convince the world that Israel will attempt peace. Israel illegally attacked Syria claiming to take out a rocket transfer. They had no response for their actions. Iran's looming threat keeps them on their toes as they try to convince the world that Iran must have a preemptive strike. Palestine was recognized by the UN. The UN condemned Israel for their illegal settlements (again). The U.S. was angered by Israel's unwillingness to stop building illegal settlements. CNN had an exposé called God's Warriors (videos 3&4 on youtube) where they ask Israel what does the U.S. get in return for the free $3 billion annually. Israeli documentaries such as The Gatekeepers where the 6 most powerful men of Israel that worked for Shin Bet expose the real deal. 5 Broken cameras is yet another Israeli produced documentary of the oppression, etc. that Israel defends on a daily basis. In general, the world is finding out about what's really going on within Israel and their enemies. When Israelis themselves come out against their own government, you know there's got to be something to the story. Our $3 billion annually given away to another 1st world country is illogical and despicable when we need our money at home more than ever. Our seniors deserve to have medicine and not choose between heating their homes, buying medicine or eating. Our children deserve to have cheaper rates for college instead of having to take out student loans they can't pay back during high unemployment. Stop blaming our President and put the blame on "everyone" over the years who've given away our money and the AIPAC lobbyists in Washington who twist the arms of our politicians to get more and more of "our" money for Israel. In the words of Janet Jackson, we could sing or ask, "What have you done for me lately"?

Egypt gets a billion dollars of free American weapons each year and Israel gets three billion of free American weapons each year.

Hard to believe that Netanyahu, who rejected a reasonable peace with the West Bank in 2010 (Defense Minmister Barak's proposal) would go for peace now. But Livni probably wouldn't agree to participate unless she thought it was possible.

Really foolish of Israel not to make a two state peace. In the 2010 proposal, Israel would have gotten most of Jerusalem including the big settlements in East Jerusalem and those along the border and the Temple Mount and Western Wall would be autonomous, open to all peaceful and respectful people.

The alternative would be that Israel would absorb the 2.4 million West Bank Arabs as permanent residents of Israel. Some extremists might hope they could be killed or expelled but this is unrealistic. International law passed in 1949 would define expuslion of the West Bank families as a "crime against humanity." Officials or officers involved in doing this could be tried in the world court in the Hague and arrested if they entered Europe.

Maybe Netanyahu has seen the light? Could be very optimistic view but Menachen Begin, former terrorist leader of Irgun, made peace with Egypt in 1979, giving them back their land to remove a major threat to Israel. Perhaps Netanyahu has seen the light?

Under this 'great deal' the Palestinians would have retreated to a clover-leaf 'reservation' surrounded by IDF bases and violent Settler towns. The West Bank and Gaza aquifers would have been ceded over to Israel leaving the Palestinians at the mercy of the predator Jews for their water (It's bad enough that Israel currently 'steals' 94% of the Palestinians water resources - without any agreement). Israel would control what entered and left 'Palestine.' Palestine would be allowed 'no military' or 'self-defense' weapons and the low life parasite Jews would have 'owned' the Palestinians even more-so as they do now. So, next time you brag on these 'great deals' offered to the Palestinians - get the facts sucka and quit opening your mouth when you know little of what these 'great deals' consist of. OK?

Natanyau will see the light when a 10 kiloton Paki U-HAUL nuke is dragged into Tel Avivs' harbour in a shipping container and we have a Judenrein Palestine from the Euphrates to the Jordan valley.

                                                          Amen....

I have to wonder if the Insurance Man comments - Judenrein etc - is a serious comment. Are people really that stupid? Of course Palestine would be demilitarized to some degree in a peace settlement. They don't now and will never have any capability of destroying Israel.

Fatah (the PLO) formally recognized Israel and denounced violence in the Oslo Accords. There was an interlude of violence caused by Sharon's entry into the temple mount with hundreds of police and Arafat's cowardly weasiling out of a peace agreement that would have been good for his people but probably gotten him killed. But all the Arab countries called for peace with Israel in 2002 and repeated 2007. Fatah returned to the Oslo accords provisions and has generally respected the non-violence pledge - and helped to capture Hamas murderers in the West Bank.

But the comments are not for the troll - Insurance Man David - who obviously isn't serious - probably an Israeli pretending to be a stupid, violent Palestinian.

Because unlike all the Arabs, as well as the Arab-Palestinians, the Israelis put NO preconditions on peace talks. However, there's lots of News Media Bias presented by Reuters, BBC, A/P and MSNBC. in reference to such locations as Judea-Sameria, Jerusalem, etc. The Western News Media is quick to use Jordanian names for these locations, recently invented during their short 19-year occupation from 1948-67. And quick to call Jews "Settlers" in their own land. Making it seem as Netanyahu is the "hard liner", When in fact it is the Arab-Palestinians with all their preconditions. And of course Never mentioning that Arab-Palestinians never ruled Jerusalem, even for one day in the past 3,000 years. Or that Jews were always the majority of Jerusalem's population, since the 1800's. Or the fact that there was no religious freedom for Jews, as well as Christians, before Israel liberated Jerusalem again in 1967. With the Western News Media pressing Israel the way they currently do, even if they are the only democracy in the Middle East, it sells papers. Meanwhile Israel prays for Peace, is willing to negotiate with no preconditions, is willing to trade land for PEACE. Teaches their children songs of PEACE. Someone should only ask Arab-Palestinians what they would do for PEACE? I wonder what songs they teach their children?

So what is your point regarding Islam being only 1500 years old. Christianity didn't exist 2,000 years ago. Mormons didn't exist 200 years ago. So are you saying Jews have a lock on God? Its much more that Israel and the Israeli settlers want ALL the West bank land for themselves and a Greater Israel. Its greed on behalf of the Israelis that has been stopping any and all peace from happening. They refuse to allow the Palastinians to have their own nation AND REFUSE to stop ethnically cleansing the West Bank and taking the land for themselves. Too bad MOST Americans dont know and understand whats REALLY happening...

They used to do this a lot. His use of the word "Judenrein" is evidence of who he really is.

I am pleased you find my intellect so intimidating that you called me Jewish, but as I don't believe in God I cannot be Jewish. Further, the idea of a "secular jew" is merely a Nazi fantasy for supporters of the Palestinians, aka the moder day Nazis. I was poitning out to the poster who claimed that things are the same now as they were 1500 years ago that theywere wrong as Islam didn't exist back then and thus things are not the same. Your hysterical diatribe followed. I would get a clean pair of panties and not get them in a bunch. Its going to snow in Vermont Sunday so its all good.

The concept certainly does include secular Jews, sharing the spirit of the Belfast Irishman who said, "I may be an atheist...but I'm a CATHOLIC atheist."
