MEXICO CITY -- Two men armed with a machine gun and a handgun opened fire in a bar on the outskirts of the Mexican tourist resort of Cancun on Thursday, killing six people and wounding five, the office of the state's attorney general said.
Cancun, a major tourist destination on Mexico's Caribbean coast, has largely escaped the drug-related violence that has racked Acapulco, a faded tourist hot spot on the Pacific coast.
Last month, six Spanish women were raped by hooded gunmen who forced their way into the Acapulco beach house the women had rented.
Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto has vowed to reduce the violence that soared after his predecessor, Felipe Calderon, launched an assault on drug cartels.
More than 70,000 people have been killed in drug-related violence in Mexico since 2007.

with their extreme gun control laws nobody can defend themselves ... coming soon to a country near you
What's that, Mexican gangs, you would like to thank the USA - for what? Oh, for all the guns you get from us...you are welcome.
Drugs don't kill any more than guns kill...kick that one around the brain a few times.
==============
Guns don't kill people.
==============
MEXICANS kill people!
==============
mexican bars were they go to sin'n...doin them sins that ain't never...before been called sins...oh they need to stay out of them evil bars...and quit that evil sin'n in them mexican bars...my neighbors went to cancun and i just knowed they been down there sin'n...had them little umbrella hats on sin'n...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8axziwbkaw
Mexican's can thank the U.S. for the guns, the drug cartels and the murder rate. Take the guns and the U.S drug market out of the equation and things like this won't happen.
U R an idiot, like they have no other access to guns and their drugs only come to U S
Mexico has always run on corruption. It has always had patrons and peons, with no middle class. Stop saying that Mexicans are so weak and spineless that all their problems have to be blamed on the US.
They make their own decisions. Blame them for their own problems.
Almost all of the guns in the hands of Mexican drug cartel members are coming from the U.S., because our laws are so laughably weak.
Yeah, just think, if we had better laws governing guns, we might have won at the Alamo.
EarlyOut, selective memory?
What about all the firearms that Eric Holder and the BATF let "Walk" across the border?
Several have been found at crime scenes in Mexico, one was used to kill a DEA agent.
Rick-911527,Earlyout-1524710. One of the weapons was a machine gun. You can't even buy a fully-automatic weapon in the USA. So give it up!
Car
Sorry... Yes you can... Just do a google search for yourself...
CAR-43,
You are misinformed.
It is legal to purchase a full-auto firearm in the US as long as the proper paperwork has been done.
The only recorded use of a registered full-auto weapon being used in the commission of a crime in the US was by a Law Enforcement officer.
Where ? The only way you can own a machinegun is with a federal license/lengthly background check. Then the Feds are probably going to come to your house and see how you lock it down. In a gun safe, not a gun cabinet. You can't just walk into Walmart or any Gun Store and think you are going to walk out with one in the same day. Who in there right mind would then see this federally registered weapon to the drug cartel. The FBI/BATF would be knocking down your door.
Ed, still drinking the Kool-Aid?
http://features.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2012/06/27/fast-and-furious-truth/
sell, not see.
Do some research.
A $200 tax to the Feds, and the paperwork properly sent to the BATF signed by local law enforcement, and it IS legal to own a full auto weapon in the US......expen$ive as crazy, but legal.
Perhaps you live in a "Progressive" state that might have futher limitations, I don't.
Machine guns have been missing from military bases many times, just check the number of times they have had that problem at Pendleton not to mention all the other bases
How much easier would it also be to get a machinegun from any of the 31 countrys that make AK-47s. Instead of messing around and paying a higher price too someone in the USA.
EO,
I see yours and raise you one.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/09/09/exclusive-third-gun-linked-to-fast-and-furious-identified-at-border-agents/
Left leaning news will ALWAYS report what they want, just like the Rights.
marklepew, then that is our own governments problem for not having the weapons fully secured.
Thanks Mexico, you have made my stocks in gun companies skyrocket and help us get out of that god awful Bush II recession.
P.S. Don't let a little bad publicity discourage you it is probably just from some anti gun Liberal publication anyway.
ED, unfortunately I live in NYS. Where you have to licensee & insure your ATV but cannot ride it off your property. Cuomo has a Hitler complex.
Nice vacation spot
@constancefoxen; do you buy your HOOCH on line or does it come from mexico in a body bag? splain! . Low gift cards for 48Why? poor son and husband. I gots too start smoking some of dat!
CAR,
Sounds like it's time to move.........
cunniefuxin...had to much tequila last night...she's on the vine sin'n today...thou shall not post advertisement on the vine...sayeth the da'vine one...
Ed, problem now being where is a good manufacturing job market. I am a machinist/toolmaker. The jobs were decimated after Nafta?
CAR-43
Unfortunately I live in NYS also And you are right the radical liberal governor does have a complex
I think he fancies himself after Benito Mussolini
Sorry Ed, you loose that one. Early-out's article came out on June of last year and yours in September of 2011. And if they really had something on Fast and Furious what do you think Rep. Issa and Fox News has left it alone. When was the last time you've heard about it on the news? It was a fabricated story: end of discussion.
Yeah I know, good jobs are hard to come by.
I'm very lucky, .......Living in a state that gets a "F" from the 'Brady Bunch', retired from a good job after 31 years, now working for another company making more money......
Life Is Good!
@ Jerry, .............. Just because it was posted at a later date, doesn't make it true, and the earlier story false.
Anyway if the gun were to come from the US you can probably thank Pres. Obozo and Eric Holder and the BATF who purposely let Mexican drug gangs get weapons during his Fast & Furious Scandal and one was used to kill a DEA agent.
.
wow, things must be improving in Mexico, only 6 killed this time.
as for purchase of a full auto gun in the U.S., good luck, the Treasury has not issued a private license in about 10 years, and the tax is not 200 dollars(that is the application fee), the tax if permission is granted is 10 thousand dollars, and you wave all your search and seizure rights, so inspections can be made at any time for any reason. Most of the full auto ak 47 and 51 used in Mexico come from Chinese company's, by way of Central America.
Witchking
Maybe you should go back a little further. Look at "Project Gunrunner". That's where all this started. You may actually learn something. But I'm sure you won't change your mind. Just think if it had stopped then, fast and furious may not have happened.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Wide_Receiver
So flnobody, Holder takes over an il-conceived plan, expands it, looses control of it and you feel he is vindicated because it was started under Bush? If he wasn't smart enough to see the problem, why keep him?
Mexicans and Mexico - Oh what fine people and what a fine @!$%#-hole country.
Mexico doesn't sound so bad... Here in America you can't even go watch a Batman movie without some nut coming around and blowing you away. Heck, we can't even send our children to school without the threat of our kids getting blown away into pieces. What fine people we have here in America. We have more guns than anyone and still we are not safe in the greatest country in the world.
This is NBCs 'gun story du jour'?
I found something about guns that happened right here in the good ol USA:
http://gunssavelives.net/self-defense/video/video-al-homeowner-shoots-and-kills-suspected-burglar-using-shotgun/
http://gunssavelives.net/self-defense/mo-homeowner-shoots-drunken-intruder-who-attacked-him-in-the-leg/
Looks to me like this story don't fit in with NBC politics, and thats why its not here.
Gosh! Mexico is almost as bad as Chicago!
Ahhhh.Spring break is here mom and dad...need the money from you to party galore in Cancun and get a tan like a true republican gets (Bohner).
I'm entitle too it...in college that you been paying for all your life for me.
Central and South America have many more guns. They have been given guns by many people who wish to do business there. The money has been able to be tracked for decades now and it is impossible to not be aware of illegal money. That would mean someone, a group or countries are in cahoots.
P.S. manifest: We are not allowed to defend ourselves in those venues. I wonder why? After 911 and the threats we were supposed to be ready for and created a huge division of Homeland Security that has failed to do so. I say trust your neighbor and a fellow American.
Even with this event, many Spring Break'ers will STILL go down there. Same with tourists on vacation who will blatantly deny it and act like they are somehow special and immune to such dangers.
Good luck with that- the Darwon Awards are always welcoming new candidates.
They have been covertly invading us for generations.Tourists from the US spend billions vacationing in Mexico & they still murder us at will.Let's cut the BS & take over that hellhole once and for all. They don't even take care of their own people-We can! At least the ones we don't have to eliminate will be well taken care of;War mongering can be such a burdon.
It truly saddens me to see just how much attention you people pay to gun laws in this country or in Mexico. Guns in both countries could be outlawed and still people would be making them for self defense, to rob the local bank, or murder your neighbor. Guns have been made by people for hundreds of years and to this day it is not against the law to make any type of weapon you want, single action, double action, Simi auto and even full auto are legal to make and own. You can even buy the parts to make your Simi auto weapon a full auto or something that works just as well as an automatic. So blaming the government for supplying weapons to Mexico is ludicrous, it would make no difference at all.
About 75-80% of the guns on the black market in Mexico come from El Salvador and other South American countries. Most of the hand grenade the drug cartel uses come from Syria and North Korea. A ship was stopped a few years ago coming from China with thousands of AK-47s....the full auto ones. Not like the ones in the US at all. That shipment was caught that time but, how many didn't get found out?
Actually, yes. It is quite illegal to make all sorts of weapons in the US, such as nuclear weapons, surface-to-air missiles, large bombs, etc.
The only thing that stops a good guy with a gun is a bad guy with a gun.
Well, I guess if one is going to kill some people, a bar in Cancun is as good a place as any.
If they hadn't used a machinegun in this attack it could easily have been chalked up as another score for the Obama Administration's Fast and Furious gun running operation.
In light of Fast and Furious, it would be more applicable to say, "because our laws are so laughably unenforced." This includes Obama's failure to enforce our immigration laws or to secure our borders too.
The vast majority of the weapons used by the cartels are full auto Russian made AK-47's that can not legally be purchased in the US. Nice try... The murder rate in Mexico is due to drug cartels that get their power from illegal trade of drugs, human trafficking and weapons. Mexico is a failed state and that is the real cause of the problems.
Does ANYONE want a "free" weekend stay in beautiful Mexico?
Complementary robes with front and back targets, low cost autopsy by a real doctor, crating and shipping of remains included.
hey reno,
not to be an ass, but an SKS is NOT an ak 47.......they are two different rifles. the SKS has a fixed magazine and is semi auto only, the AK 47 and its clones has a detachable magazine ( useually 30 rds) and comes in a semi only version that is sold in the USA and a semi/full auto version sold all over the world. the chinese sell the most, their cheap copy is a peice of crap........you want a really good AK ? the romainians make the best. the only two things these two weapons have in common is they are a russian design and they shoot the same caliber bullet 7.69x 39 for sure......have a good one
I visited Cancun a few years back....never again! I was nervous then. Let's get the border tight and keep them out!
NBC, you might want to say in the article that Acapulco is on the west coast of Mexico and no where near Cancun on the Caribbean coast, please. You know geography is a tough subject for most, LOL.
How would the crimes be related? Or was Acapulco just thrown in for, gee whiz? It wasn't in the tourist (turista) section of Cancun.
That was East LA you were in. Want a real experience; wear Giants garb to a Dodgers game.
New thrill vacations; just added - Chicago and Detroit (4 days, 3 nights) or Philly and DC (2 days or death, which ever comes first). No refunds should you be terminated.
Now that's funny!
Jack from Jax - maybe you missed the mention of Acapulco being on the Pacific Coast in the article.
Jack from Jax - I guess you missed the reference to Acapulco being on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. And while Acapulco has nothing to do with Cancun, in the context of the article it mentions that Cancun has largely escaped the blood shed, unlike the fading tourist town of Acapulco.
Apparently the shooting happened at the Mermaid Bar,where mostly Union Taxi drivers hang out.Two men arrived, in two vehicles, got out, went inside and started shooting. Seven people have now died. Please see the link below. It is spring break and many students, including Americans frequent the areas.
May those who were killed be at peace, and my prayers, thoughts go out to those who survived, hoping they will make a full recovery. For those who are struggling with the loss of a beloved family member, my heart goes out, they will be surrounded by all who loved and cared for them. Giving the strength and support they need right now.I hope those who did this, get put away for life.

GM CBow 1978
Thanks for the "catch" My plea is either:
1. when I first read the article, I did not see what you stated OR
2. The caffeine from the coffee had not performed it's function when I read the article and I missed the word Pacific Coast
LOL
A grand morning to the usual suspects! I was at Cancun about 15-16 years ago and have to admit I was freaked a little. Jeeps running around with armed men down town is not something I was used to. Anyway one of the less than stellar citizens got out of hand, and they gave him a beat down that he probably won't forget, that is if he woke up. Jeeves, coffee! Oh, there is no Jeeves here? Guess I will have to get my own.
I was Puerto Vallarta a few years back. We were told to be mindful, and they mentioned a couple of places we should avoid, but by & large it was a wonderful experience. The people were gracious and friendly (outside of the Time Share salesmen LOL). I never once felt threatened or unsafe and we did a considerable amount of wandering about town, even taking a local bus down to Mismaloya to rent a fishing boat. it was awesome
Don't judge the locals by the cartels. We were treated very warmly, as are most tourists, because the locals know that tourists are their bread & butter.
Bulldozer, thanks for the memory! The bus trip we were on scared me to death! We were whizzing down this winding road about 40 and he passes another bus with about the thickness of a sheet of toilet paper between us, I got religion that day for sure. I know for a fact I could read a newspaper on the next bus. LOL on the time share.
LOL @ stonepipe! yeah, the bus ride was interesting, to be sure. on the way back to our hotel, we had a big bag with the fish we caught, some large mackerel---and the chefs in the hotel turned it into the most amazing meal. We ate 2 (over 2 meals, they're big fish) and gave the rest to some of the locals, who were profoundly grateful.
overall it was a much cooler experience than being cloistered away in some all-inclusive. I've never understood the point of going somewhere only to never leave the hotel.
We went to the pyramids and we were the last year allowed to climb if memory serves me right. On the bus ride we saw things that blew my mind one of which was a prison that made my hair stand on end. No kidding, I got scared strait just driving by. Have a great day, got to run.
nice talking to you :-)
Back at ya!☺ Pretty tricky huh. It's a secret I will tell you if you don't tell anyone else----hit alt key and the no. 1 key on the right hand side of your keyboard at the same time. Shhhh, mums the word!
StonePipe
That's not what Chef said - LOL, hehehehe
LOL thanks! ☺
Mexico needs to put up a fence to keep all of Holder's "machine guns" out of Mexico. By the way NBC...the nomenclature of machine gun and an AUTOMATIC weapon is considerably different. Ask Holder, the trucks would have had to be much larger to ship "machine guns" south of the border. Typical lib journalism, all Hat.
RWNJ myth.
http://features.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2012/06/27/fast-and-furious-truth/
Earlyout, great link but as you know the RWNJ don't like to read, they are more in tune with listening to the likes of Rush and Beck. They especially don't want to know about F&F since they enjoy bashing the current President over something they know very little about.
"It gets back to something basic for me," says Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa). "Terry was murdered, and guns from this operation were found at his murder site."
That is the bottom line.
The full auto guns that Mexico gets are from the good old USA.
We give them to the Mexican police and Military and in turn those
very honest and trusting people accidentally let the cartels steal them
or the police and soldiers sell them. The guns that Holder sent over
where semi auto's and even when the gun stores tried to alert
the proper authorities they told to let the sale go on.
The people in office are trying to say "Fast and Furious" was a Bush
project. Bush had "Line Backer" where the weapons were fitted with
ID chips and that ended while Sambo was still a senator. doing speech's like.
“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure.
It is a sign that the U.S. government can’t pay its own bills. ...
I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit.” — Then-Sen. Barack Obama, floor speech in the Senate, March 16, 2006
Why are gun offences in America referring the arms used as "assault" (perhaps to inflate the anti gun agenda) and when reporting about similar shootings in other countries their arms are referred to as "machine gun"? Is not the true that true assault arm is the same as machine gun?
Lame news if you ask me.
Since when does 1 sentence on something constitute an article? Seriously, there was one sentence on the news story. Brutal reporting but I guess the point wasn't to report anything... it was actually to sensationalize and scare people like Wagewatcher and WatchingY'all.
There are a lot more details available on this story but the lazy asses who wrote this figured one sentence and a sweet headline is all you need (yes, for some reason it took 3 people to write that non-article?).
This is just the first of many promotional publicity stunts for the new movie 'Spring Breakers.' Which I definitely plan on seeing.
Yes, gun control is working just fine and dandy isn't it :l
Dolt. They're getting their guns from the U.S. Gun control in Mexico would work pretty well if all the gun stores in Arizona didn't exist.
Earlyout. Where can you legally buy a machine gun in the USA? It came from another country. Or are you saying it came from our military.
Early out Maybe if the boarders were more secure they could not just run up buy a gun and run back. Do you really believe they come here for all them guns. one of the most common rifle in mexico is Chinees AK-47 they get most of their guns from their own military, and Collubia and the like Please see a Dr to get your head removed from up there.
CAR
http://www.gunbroker.com/Machine-Guns/BI.aspx
Mayo, the Mexican drug cartels buy their guns from Americans who make straw purchases and resell the guns for a profit, sometimes in the parking lot of the gun store where they made the purchase. Arizona has no wait period and you even get a discount for multiple gun purchases. Just visit AZ and look at all the bill boards advertising volume discounts
Mark is totally right. This is documented. Most of the most lethal guns in Mexico comes from the US. The Mexican government has actually been trying for us to toughen up our gun laws because the cartel members go to places like Texas and Arizona where they convince somebody to go buy guns for them and pay above market value for them. If we want to keep kidding ourselves because we want to be able to own a M-16 that's up to us. but the facts are the facts and they don't lie.
Idiot In Miami,
Please don't show us how little you know until after you have read the
NFA (National Firearms Act) I fully expect to get flamed by those with IQ's
with matching belt sizes and would be more willing to debate a clam or other
higher life form. When you have finished reading the NFA we can have a civil
discussion.
I noticed on the list of countries which were unfriendly to visitors were Venezuela and Bolivia. Now I see apparently south of the boarder cities are trying to start a different list with Acapulco, and Cancun as cities you don't want to visit. It is not to say that we don't have places like Chicago and Detroit, but they are hardly warm in the winter months for swimming at the beach. What do these places have in common to link them with gun violence? Drug trade? Gangs? Lack of work skills due to their education levels, and lack of employment opportunity? Political corruption?
Apparently they have populations large enough in number which wish to perpetuate ideas which don't work. The key word, is "work". The problem with socialism is that when you live on the earnings of others labors, all labor is devalued, until life itself is devalued and you have the gang violence and slum living conditions, and everyone is a victim. A few make immense personal profits, for the sake of living in opulence. But mostly it's opulence for "show", heralded by the psychopaths of design and fashion. It seems the places which offer the best opportunity for living, fail to make any list of "very good", or "very bad". Boring, I believe is the common terminology. The boring drudgery of steady work, with less than high fashion friends. That apparently is the answer to lower violent crime rate statistics.
Steve good thoughts. I don't care about the gun discussion as there are so many in the world no amount of laws will fix it. I want the dam Border controlled! You can't go into Southern AZ now and feel safe. Why do you think neither Party will fix this. We are in Afghanistan for no reason ..Stop that war and protect us here! BY the Way Chicago is just as dangerous! 30 to 50 killed there each week!
Yea lookout Chicago a liberal Democratic City with strict gun laws and the City is a COMPLETE FAILURE
witchking
The problem with laws like that in a city. Is just going outside the city limits and you can get as many guns as you want without those regulations.
Any major city in the U.S. has crime problems. Kansas City has a higher per capita murder rate than Chicago, and it has very few gun restrictions.
Why any sane American would set foot in Mexico is beyond my comprehension.
We went to Playa del Carmen, just south of Cancun, 3 years in a row but that was all the way back in 2000, 2001, & 2002. We went all over the place while we were there, including to the pyramids at Chichen Itza (last year they let you climb the large pyramid).
It wasn't bad down there back then. However, with the way things are now I don't think I'll be heading back anytime soon.
PTI,
Why would ANYONE want to vacation in a country in the middle of an uncontrollable drug war.
For cheap drugs.....?
Mexico has a lot to offer including oil reserves they have no idea how to get.We should just take it over with Canadian troops. They kicked their ass in the WBC & the Mexicans would wave the white flag at the drop of the puck.
Are you out of your mind? Heavy crude is one of their biggest exports (ok no comments about the drug exports) They are one of our 4 the largest trading partners, and I think 3rd largest for oil. I think they are pretty good at getting to their oil reserves.
Can't wait to plan my next vacation, NOT IN MEXICO, EVER !
Anybody who chooses to go to that sh!t-hole country in the first place is an idiot.
With very strict gun control laws in mexico, by taking the guns from the law abiding, its plain to see how it is working for them. Liberals will never see the light.
Another moron. The guns are coming from the U.S.
It was a machine gun . Where the @!$%# do you buy one in the USA .Earlyout you SFB SOB !
Early:
That is just the point... Doesn't matter how many laws you have against guns... the Criminals are still going to get them...
Doesn't matter where they come from.
I don't care! Secure the damm Border. Shoot at the ones coming across the Border don't need to kill just scare the crap out of them and this crap stops. Need a Patton in the Army!
A small portion of the guns in Mexico come from the US. Most come from Central and South America. Do you think that all the coups that have happened down there over the past 50 years have had their weapons supplied by the US? If so then the gun manufacturers should be the wealthiest companies in the US.
Marijuana is illegal in the US but yet last year over tens of million of people have bought and smoked marijuana.
Those guns were a gift to the Mexican cartels from Obama and his "Fast and Furious" operation. I would certainly love to know if the guns sold in the "Fast & Furious" operation were used in crimes.. (they did record the serial numbers didn't they???).. By they, I mean the ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms).. A bureau of our government. When you look at this bureau, they are in charge of two other "things" that kill more people than firearms (Alcohol & tobacco). If the media actually wanted to do some investigative reporting, they could research the serial numbers of the guns sold in the Fast & Furious fiasco and see if they ended up in the Newtown shooting or the theater shooting or even Gifford's shooting.
The RWNJ myth that just won't die. Interested in some facts, instead?
http://features.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2012/06/27/fast-and-furious-truth/
Sorry if this doesn't match the narrative you prefer, but you're not entitled to your own facts.
Early
You reference a blog for TRUTH? Why is it that you believe the left side of the story when the FACTS say different?
It has already been proven and yet you still cling to the myth that is being told that obama and holder did nothing wrong.
The ATF is responsible for oversight of firearms, alcohol, and tobacco, perhaps we should liberalize laws on all three, make it a requirement that if you buy a gun, you must also buy a bottle of booze and a pack of smokes. Before shooting the gun you must consume some of the booze, then smoke a cigarette while other semi-inebriated gun enthusiasts attempt to shoot the cigarette out of your mouth, I'm pretty sure that would lower the risk everyone faces since efforts to control only makes things worse.
Perhaps we could add a fourth item to the ATF's list of responsibilities, we could rename them the FATP and they could control prostitution too. That way everybody could get lucky or at least have a chance to catch the latest STD.
The ATF more than likely works with lobbyists from all three industries in an effort to make sure that we don't hurt these key industry's business models by passing legislation detrimental to the products they produce.
We are a nation governed by people who are for sale to the highest bidder and we don't even have the right to know who is buying us. Freedom? This is what our forefathers had in mind? This is what our ancestors died to support? At least slaves knew who their owners were and what to expect from them, we are abused by nameless, faceless, shameless, extremely wealthy people or groups of people and can only watch as those we elect turn their backs on us and kneel before the almighty dollar!
We need to pay attention to what is happening here, it does have an impact outside our borders, outlaw paid lobbyists, prosecute anyone who would approach legislators with pledges that restrict their ability to govern without bias, arrest any legislator who would sign such a pledge, make bribery a crime instead of an industry.
Hmmm, I started out trying to be humorous but ended up on a rant and off topic too?
Coffee too strong, mind too weak!
I'm sure everything will be alright, just need to buy one more gun, drink a little more booze, light a cigarette after putting on my bullet proof helmet...
I just love how when the left thinks they are
rightcorrect, no amount of facts will change their mind. They find one story to back up their beliefs and they're off and running when there are 10 other stories that refute them.Unfortunately, that story paints a worse picture than I could possibly imagine. What's that old saying ? "You just can't make this stuff up."
Regardless of the authors point regarding Fast and Furious, the story paints both agencies; ATF and DoJ as organizations filled with lack of cooperation, lack of understanding, back stabbing, lack of support both between the organizations and inter-departmentally.
The ATF and DoJ come across as out of control.
Thanks for the link btw.
This is trolling. There is no need to falsifying the facts. The truth will speak for itself.
It's another WTF!!! moment for our government..
I didn't vote for this inexperienced wanker or his cronies.
I wouldn't go to Mexico on an all expenses paid vacation, much less shell cash out of my own pocket for it. No way, Jose! Or Raul. Or Jesus.
I agree! Nor would I go to Chicago, Detroit, NY, where you know the danger exist! Inner city killing itself?
Gun control workin? or criminals and guns bad mix? These are not law abiding gun owners. More people die per year from opiate prescription drugs and abuse than gun homicides in the USA. Where's the call for outlawing these?
The Gun Cartel in the US should build statues and monuments.....and name streets after Escobar and a few other drug lords.....be a sort of payment for all the've learned fm them over the years.....jejejejeje
The Medellin Cartel......The Arizona Cartel......The NRA Cartel......has a ring to it......jejejeje
In a drive by shooting in Detroit die more people than that......happens every night.....and yu do not see it on the news....jejejejej
Wes donts care bout Black on black crime as it makes for sterotypes.
Yea Detroit another city with strict gun laws and run by the Democrats and it's on the verge of bankruptcy
Another FAILED city
Don't worry Americans. You elect these 'leaders' that open the floodgates to these illegals. The U.S. conversion into cartel infested/subservient Mexico and South America begun long ago. Just sit back and let the illegal wave overtake you lol
Corporate America has the gate key. Put 28,500 troops on the Mexican boarder, and shut the country down. Mexico is worse than North Korea.
Invade Mexico; conquer 5 miles deep; create a mined no man's land; Put our troops on our side of no man's land; Bring our boys home from the Middle East and put them defending our border.
You see that too! I thought I was the only one.
We still think the greatest threat to our security is North Korea? All you have to do is look south at our neighbors that is greatest threat our nation has. Their grestest import illegal aliens and illegal drugs?
Yeahhhhh......I look forward to the day when guns are not accessible to criminals.....love to see an assault on a police headquarters to get them.......jejejejejejej
Next elections.....New York City, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Flint, New Orleans.....all them cities be handing out free guns......in exchange for votes.....jejejejejej
You be talkin bout Obama's base!@!
Mobsters have always possessed illegal firearms. Machine Gun Kelly; Al Capone; etc their fav weapon was the Thompson Machine Gun. This was a lethal military weapon. How do crooks get illegal weapons? Perhaps they just steal them? LOL Biden's shotgun would have no chance against said firepower. The Cartels use American welfare/drug monies to buy anything they want. We feed the beast with our pathetic drug additions.
DUHHhhhh The "Roaring 20's" may have happened before the machine gun act of 1936?
I may have to check if they named the machine gun act of 1936 that for a reason....
The guns capone used were 100% legal for anyone to own. After 1936 until the early 1980's
you could still buy a machine gun but you had to pay a $200 fee.
After the NFA became law the party was pretty much over. You can still buy one but
to do it legally you need to pass a federal back ground check and be prepared to
spend $16,000 to $20,000 for the weapon. You have to own a safe that the BATF
approves of and a bunch of other rules.
The small minded folks here that think you can get one at any gun shop are
really mistaken and most gun shops couldn't even get one to sell if they had
all of their paperwork in order.
Mobster? That was before the Gun Control Act (Agreed DesotoKim).. Machine guns / automatics / pull the trigger once and it fires many times , have been illegal since then unless you have a Class III permit or you are law enforcement.. Hot Daddy, Got news for you... Shotguns kill more people in the US than AR's.. That hood mentality will get yo arse shot up so will your addiction.
If we really wanted to end the gang and drug violence in Mexico, we could. It would take about a week.
Exactly. People up here are getting rich off of them. And who really benefits if semi-auto guns are eliminated. The smugglers & the people with the money backing them. It will be no different than prohibition.
We need to chose a state-Colorado or Washington-where all our drug users can congregate. Legalize all drugs in those liberal states and move the drug addicts from all over America to these states! This would help the other 49 states opps 56 states! New Obama history of America:) Why stop with Mary Jane? Heroin; Cocaine; Oxycontin; Meth; Crack; etc Lets have one state where the druggies are welcome!
Most people who use "drugs" are neither addicts nor abusers. Remember, caffeine, nicotine and viagra are drugs, too.
By your broad definition Sugar, soft drinks, fried foods are also "drugs". What a liberal distortion of the discussion. Typical.
open the borders and let them in. we owe it to the illegals because mexico is to corrupt to feed its people. what is the usa coming to. we are no longer a nation of the people we are a nations of illegals .if we do not close our borders to all we are going to be a hungry nation to and not very long from now.
amen
Don't forget OUR state dept has brought in 6 million illiterate Muslims in the last 25 years:(
Those "illegals" keep your food and services cheap. Your racism and ignorance blind you to the reality. People who make statements such as yours and a lot of the other hateful and ignorant comments here don't deserve the good fortune to have been born in the USA. You are a bigger threat the the USA than any foreigner.
Studies have shown that what we spend for the social services far
out spend what spic's in the fields save us.
ZZulu Rob-=You are an idiot who I am sure put the pretender Obama on his throne.
ZihuaRob,
"SOME" of those illegals keep your food service cheap; trust me, not all 21million of them are out picking corn. Perhaps a few thousand of them are supporting the farming industry, some are working low-paying jobs (such as lawn services). However, ALL of them are placing a strain on our medical infrastructure. Hospitals are not allowed to turn anyone away, even those without identification or means to pay. The legal citizens of southern Arizona have had several medical facilities go bankrupt and close, due to the huge numbers of illegals requiring free service. The Legal citizens have suffered due to these facilities closing. Per capita, they do more harm than good.
ZihuaRob......what part of the word don't you understand? Illegal means they are breaking the Laws. It's against the laws of OUR country for them to even be here. They should not be here for any reason you could possibly think of. Try telling there country they need to help these poor peope and see what happens. I would be so mad if I had gone through all of the LEGAL imagration rules to be a citizen and they just give all 21 million of these illegals papers for nothing. I'd ask for my money back and leave here too.
I wonder if any of you anti-gun wizards wonder what will happen with strict gun control in this nation. If you think the drug running from Mexico is bad, just wait if government attempts to ban guns. There will be a flow of illegal weapons back to the US like no one could believe. Think I am full of it? Just research the number of guns smuggled into the UK since they banned guns. Bottom line is the law abiding victims get screwed and criminals run wild.
Yeah think prohibition. Gun control will just make richer criminals. I am still amazed they are not blaming the NRA for this. Why are they not screeming for tighter boarders. But they are saying it is because we have bad gun laws.
Yep! It was the NRA that caused this......just like it was Obama that caused the earthquake in Japan. Well maybe he was the one that did that!! I keep seeing how the government or the Army anyway has sold many of the M-16s they get from the US government to the cartels even. They need to make a buck off of this too. They don't get paid enough to live on there I'm sure. So they sell thier guns and handgrenade to the cartel to make ends meet. You know it could be Sheriff Joe that caused this too......
Actually my experience with the M-16 is that they are not that good. Full auto sucks on them and not too acturate as well. Just my opinion though!
